I lol'd at the Gen 5 part, because that's my opinion too. I'd rather have a smaller list of new Pokemon that are pretty good (X/Y) than have a big list of new Pokemon that are below average (Black/White).

Yikes, that's just embarrassing. But I get it, we all have brain farts sometimes.

So... does that mean roughly 35% of Wii U owners in Japan have Mario Kart 8? That's some pretty good sales, then. Now, if they could just sell more Wii Us...

Looks very cool. 2015's lineup is looking very, very solid right now. And that's without a Mario Kart or Smash Bros game.

I think this guarantees another Pokemon game in late 2015. I would say Pokemon Z, but didn't one of the directors of the game state explicitly that they weren't going to make Pokemon Z?

Sim City in HD on the Wii U? Yes, please.

EA/Maxis' new verison of Sim City? No. The latest version on PC was not good.

That's what I'm thinking. A 4 is generous! This game is close (but not quite at) the level of Sonic '06.

I'm OK with just the Mewtwo DLC. This is a full and complete game that doesn't need much added. The only thing that would make it better would be an adventure mode done right.
I can't wait 'til I get a Wii U, because this is the first game I'm going to get for it.

I don't think I'll be getting any amiibos. I will already be buying that $100 pack for Super Smash Bros.
But, if I did get one, I would buy Kirby, because he is my main.

And I would like to see the world tournament or battle frontier to return. Only then would we have a nice post-game.

Oh, I like these deals... should I buy that big pack with Smash Bros, 3D World, and Tropical Freeze? Or should I get the eventually coming $100 smash bros pack with the gamecube connector? Hmmmm.... not sure what to do.

Finally, Nintendo gives us some decent commercials.

I must say... this trailer definitely got my attention. I love the Advance Wars series and I definitely trust Intelligent Studios. I'm considering this game, but I'm not sold yet. The gameplay and characters feel very original. My eyes will be peeled for more info on this game...

There is no way 8 player smash would work over the internet. Too much lag.

This mode has a chance to be fantastic. Finally, I have many reasons to get a Wii U! Thank you, Nintendo!

This game looks absolutely gorgeous. It's been a long, long time since I've said that before. When I get a Wii U, this game is going to be on the radar, but there are so many other games... at least this is a good problem to have.

I'm with you-I'll wait for the new Nintendo handheld when it comes out in 2016 or 2017. I have a basic 3DS and it's in great condition, and I have no reason to upgrade. This New 3DS does look impressive. My only complaint would be needing a screwdriver to change the micro SD card... and my one complement would be how they've fixed the 3D effect. I want to see how it works in action.

I don't think that the DS and 3DS are the same system. I also am not "done with Nintendo". I'm definitely not. It's just that I got my 3DS 2.5 years ago and now they are making games just for the New 3DS? I'm not going to overreact and I'll assume it'll be like the DSi. I'm only going to buy it if lots of good games come out for it. My 3DS is fine and I don't need to upgrade it.

Also, buying 4 DS's over 8 years makes my friends and family think I have a problem because their thought process is "you don't need so many DS's."
Ironically, some people have cell phones that have 2 year plans, meaning they would have 4 phones over 8 years, and nobody thinks that they are crazy.

I'm not too sure about this. They better not be making the main games (I'm think Pokemon/Mario/Animal Crossing) exclusive on this new 3DS. I'm not going to buy it- I already have a DS Lite, a DSi, and a 3DS. I don't need a 4th DS. Everyone in my family will think I am completely obsessed and that I'm an idiot for spending this much money. I hope this is like the DSi situation where the few exclusive games that came out weren't the main ones.

Well, it shouldn't be a surprise that the 3DS doesn't have a stage builder, but I hope that the Wii U will have one, and if it does, an improved version from Brawl.

Methinks there could be a good 3D Sonic... if a talented enough team could get together and re-think the 3D ideas, perhaps something better could happen. But for now, it is what it is.

EA is exactly what was on my mind when I read this article. I love how Nintendo puts effort into their games, unlike some companies....

I'm going to wager a guess and say that Sakurai was talking about Brawl. I believe it was delayed twice but for good reasons, I see. It's much better to postpone a game instead of release a crappy product early.

Methinks it's going to be Pikachu Detective game. That should be interesting, and it would definitely be the definition of "shocking".

I feel the exact same way. Even if I get a Wii U, I'm not spending extra money on any NFC toys. However, I do hope Nintendo cashes in and makes money on it.

Metaknight will be back, it just looks like he will be a hidden character this time around.

Cool. I definitely approve of this stage. I like how they're finally adding stages based on some of the exciting things in the Pokemon series, like the Elite Four and N's Castle/outside N's castle/Elite Four. This is much, much better than a boring Pokemon Stadium 3.

Ah, I see. Unfortunately, that comes out this winter, which will be quite the wait. You can probably still play this game without playing the full trilogy and you'll be fine. The third one is the best, and it will be worth your wait.

Also, some names and words are not localized from UK to USA. I'm hoping they localize better this time. Prof. Layton and the Azran Legacies had many errors... or perhaps they just didn't localize it at all.

Whatever. I WANT this game no matter what.

It's extremely unlikely that the games will retcon the entire series by declaring: "Oh, hey, we're in Japan now." It's very likely that IF localized, the game will take place in Japan (how can it not? Meiji era didn't happen anywhere else) and at the end, Wright's ancestors will immigrate to the USA. That's the only way it'll make sense....

My ultimate dream is to have the new Pokemon Trainer have Mudkip, Grovyle, and Blazekin. It would be the most awesome thing ever for SSB. 2nd most awesome thing would be Professor Layton joining the fight, but I'm not going to talk about that. I want Blazekin!!!!!!!!!

The only reason why I know what a Yokai means is because I played Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies. This game looks OK....

I could really use an upgrade from the Wii Ware Ace Attorney to the 3DS compilation. C'mon Capcom, let's see it come over here!

I wish Advance Wars could come back, but somebody would have to claim them and make the game. Apparently Intellegent Studios cannot make it own their own, so it's very unlikely Advance Wars 3DS will be made. But I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I think they are going to carry over the easy mode. And how can you say the mine carts aren't fun? I think they are some of the best parts. The rocket barrel wasn't so good and I hope we don't see it [or much of it].

It's great to see Rambi back, but I'd really also like to see Engarde and maybe a couple new animal buddies.
