They should at the very least be able to do something along the lines of the Zelda games, Fire Emblem Awakening level, or even Professor Layton (all cutscenes voiced, and then a handful of important dialogue). Give the user to change the language or turn it off, since the English voice actors can be hit or miss. There's no excuses at this point.

Yeah, X/Y was a mess in retrospect and a pretty big step back from Gen 5. I prefer Sun/Moon far more.

I did the same thing, those two are among my least favorite.

Bridge to the Turnabout is my favorite AA case, this article does a great job explaining why. Shu Takumi knows just how to piece together a great story, and all of the elements combining in for the finale of the original AA trilogy is near-perfection.

As we mentioned in that "talking Pikachu" article a couple days ago, this movie is in fact in production. It'll be interesting to see if this turns out to be a good movie... or a hilariously bad one.

@Exy This movie is still in the works, as far as I know. So I guess talking Pikachus are going to become the norm.

Calling the New 3DS a cadillac is hilarious!

I don't think the New 2DS XL (ugh, I hate the name though) is a bad idea, it's just arriving too late. It should have been a November 2016 product. I do think it's wise to continue to focus on the 3DS even with the Switch's success, contrary to the popular opinion. Just not sure if this is the right time for another 3DS iteration.

I'm interested to see how many people will buy Breath of the Wild on the Wii U compared to the Switch. I'll be picking up the Wii U version as I plan on getting a Switch around Christmas time.

I noticed that at 5:19, the English voice sounds exactly like Leon Bronev and Newton Belduke from the Professor Layton series. Does anyone else notice it?

It's a very solid game. I've watched a playthrough of it and it is a quality game. Go ahead and play it if you're a Pokemon fan.

Nintendo, you better not shut this down. I would be ticked off if they did.

Trying to recruit every single Pokemon in this game is a nightmare of a task. Thankfully, it's much easier in Super Mystery Dungeon.

This was a very solid game and it lead to an even better sequel series - Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky.

I dunno, I think $10 is fair. $30 is a bit much to get them all, but I think most people will only need to get one.

All the other ads sucked, so I'm not too surprised. There were only a couple watchable ones besides the Pokemon one. I wonder if their $5 Million they put into the spot was worth it.

I'm 99% certain it will be a port of the Wii U version. There's no way they've had time to develop a new one, regardless of the fact that it'd be plain stupid to start anew on a game that came out recently (and isn't done until Feb. with DLC).

Eh. I don't know about this, it wasn't that great. It's fine that they're pushing on their "Train On" motto, but for something around $5M dollars for the ad slot? That's a lot of money going to one OK commercial. It's not really attention-grabbing.

The SNES version of that scrapped game looked better than the 64 version... it was as if graphics were sacrificed in the jump from 2D to 3D games.

In my opinion, whenever the next Super Mario Bros. game gets made, I want to see something new. I'd like to see a new art style, a few new mechanics and techniques, and a blend of new enemies and old ones.

Do what Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World did - they made some massive overhauls from what their predecessors did, and it worked flawlessly.

Man, I sure love the DKC series. In all honesty, I like it a little better than the 2D Mario games. Tropical Freeze is one of the best platformers of all time.

I agree. I don't believe the NX will be released before Holiday 2016. It seems they're going to unveil it at E3 2016... so a summer 2016 release sounds ridiculous.

And before more people comment about Zelda Wii U getting moved to the NX, please don't.
There is a reason why the game's current name is Zelda WII U. The game is being made specifically for the Wii U's gamepad and hardware. Why on earth would they spend all the extra time to port the game to a brand new console?! The two versions of the game would compete with itself, thus driving their sales down!

This was one of the few things I liked about the Digital Event.
