GOTCHA!

Pokémon Company president and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara has revealed in an interview with the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper that Pokémon GO will hit Japan, Europe and North America first.

According to Ishihara, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East will get the game later on. Despite the finer details of the launch rollout being detailed, Ishihara wasn't able to give a solid release date for the game.

However, he was able to reveal that the mobile outing isn't the only major project in development right now. Ishihara-san says that another "big" venture in the Pokémon series is currently underway - what that might be is anyone's guess, but our fingers (and possibly toes) are crossed for another 3DS adventure to mark the 20th anniversary of the franchise.
