YES! YES! YES! Only got into the games at the beginning of the year but they've been an absolute joy to play and I never really clicked with other 2D games like them. A 3rd was inevitable but so glad to have confirmation.

@Madder128 Never had chance to play that one but from what I saw it looked fab.

@LaytonPuzzle27 Yeah going into it with no hype or expectation from the numerous delays helped. Put that aside and it's a decent shooter rough around the edges.

Shame it won't be physical but already own it multiple times. Will be happy to buy again for one of the best shooters of all time. Would love other Duke games on Switch. Even Forever... (yes I liked it).

Even scaling won't make it that difficult if you've played even 1 pokemon game before, don't know why they can't just introduce difficulty modes like B&W2 (limited though they may be) and expand. Instead they've gone the opposite way over the generations to make it baby proof to the point that even the postgame offers zero challenge.

Fab news, gives me hope of the KonoSuba game coming over here which I really want to play.

@PBandSmelly Yeah competitive on 3DS was such a bore facing the same sets over and over. Most of em highly unoriginal Smogon sets which is far too limited and dull.

Could have had rotations on who could be used, say every 2 months and problem solved. Would require people to actually think differently for once. TCG I think(?) does something similar with only certain sets useable.

Never bothered with Amoongus myself, while I was competitive for a time never saw benefit to it.

Since I've not played it never got the references but now it's brought up here I can see it. Fab album as well, Alestorm never disappoint.

I really don't get the NA one, banjo? If I saw that in the shop I think I'd just skip it as I usually tend to go with the mindset that the cover does represent the game content and that ain't enticing to me personally.

Japan and Europe kinda equal though giving to Europe as black border looks better that white.

Well, well worth it for that price, got it at launch and it was fun. Ideal for a first VN if you've never played one which I think is what it aimed for (or a happy accident). Seasoned VN players may not find too much in it though.

Ignore NLs review on this, they have a hate boner for VNs and rarely if ever give fair reviews.

Don't think I've ever seen a collectors edition like that, truly for collectors at least.

Think I might go with the champions edition, not been the biggest Tsubasa fan but the game looks a lot of fun.

Fantastic news, more of these games on Switch the better, only part way through Hyper (and loving it) so looking forward to this.

Can never have enough fan service / sexy elements in games. Sadly too rare these days and almost non-existent in western games due to activists.

Bit disappointed it's 30fps, how can it NOT be 60fps? It's not exactly a tour de force of visuals. A shame but not a deciding factor, got it pre-ordered physically and seems like the perfect entry point into games like this.

@garfreek I think 1 in 20 for narrative games is actually less than what we have now though.

All those listed are 100% in English (minus voices), it's a niche that caters for an extreme niche.

@garfreek While I don't go for them a quick look around gives me this, the daddy thing, sweet pool, Togainu no Chi Lost Blood releasing soon, A Kiss For The Petals Maidens of Michael, Flowers, Yumeutsutsu and more. Haven't limited to purely Switch releases only cause I don't think it's particularly fair in the discussion.

Your example would make sense if the majority of the world was gay but it ain't, being gay, bi or whatever is the overwhelming minority and as such ain't nowt wrong with it being equally represented in games.

@garfreek I think enough games include it already, not every game has to include options like that, it shouldn't be praised exclusively for it, if a game creator just wants straight options fine, that is okay no matter how much hate certain crowds direct towards it, more choice, fine. The more places like these praise it we never getting anywhere.

@garfreek I don't hate any of the dating options, guy, gal or whatever else represents the alphabet people. Just seems NL are gonna give these things more praise purely for that as if it's some major enhancement rather than a standard element.

Premise sounds okay, art looks rancid, not one character looks even 'fine' to me. I'm just not a fan of this generic western look for VNs.

Not surprised NL likes it though, pushes all the approved buttons for them.

Already got the game pre-ordered.

Sadly knew some of the usual people would bring up the 'controversial' comments. Like 99.9% of people I don't care if they hate the trans people or not they aren't a special group who should get special treatment, everyone can be mocked. The hate mob at ReeeeeeeesetEra are the one's who blew it up anyway. Anything that cesspit doesn't like it makes it a winner!

Love the one on the right in that image but my main issue with these is, nice idea, most people gonna have poor execution because I ain't got a top tier printer and any one I can use is only gonna look a bit naff when done.

Would be interested to know how it compares (additions, visuals etc.) to the prior 19 version. I only ask as this is just a code in a box for 'physical' which I refuse to support and the previous game is fairly cheap now. Updated teams and riders I'm not fussed about since, well, ya know, what's happening or not this year.

So happy to see it finally dated, R;N was easily the standout for me of the ; anime at least and cannot wait to delve right into it even more since most say the anime was a poor adaptation yet I adored it.

@johnvboy I don't see them coming across as superior, certainly not in this case. Not denying there aren't instances where it does happen but not here.

People post negatively in this case because they see a game they had a underwhelming or bad time with getting praise, winning awards and to them it is baffling. It doesn't affect them personally no but it doesn't need to. I personally don't go into something I don't care for but each to their own.

I'd say going from comments alone this site is far more positive than negative. Only times I see negativity is really divisive games (like this) or when NL messes up with a shockingly bad agenda driven review (sadly too often).

@Anti-Matter Yes that was fairly obvious, I just don't see the point of replying to someone who did not enjoy it, bringing up irrelevant factors to try and put them down which is what I got from their replies.

I get that the game got a lot of hate prior to release and still now ( most justified imo) but on these comments it was just simple bewilderment it won an award or two.

@johnvboy You enjoyed it, great. Many others didn't yet you seem to be super defensive about this, why? Someones negative view of it is just as valid as your positive one.

Some of those categories are baffling, Best Rookie Game? None of those 3 nominees match that descriptor. All from seasoned developers.

Persona 5 Royal winning best music, yeah can't complain there.

Not surprised Pokemon S&S won it's categories. It may be a higher res 3DS game with little effort put in but it was hugely successful in sales can think of few with a bigger status last year. Most videogame awards are similar no matter which country does it with baffling omissions and winners .

Eh, by all accounts the game is just another stale 3d fighter (like with Jump Stars Victory Vs on PS3/4). The art style also is horrible and does nothing but fail each property represented. Good for those who like this though.

Might give it a try if and when it comes, I wasn't playing games around the time it initially released so didn't see the backlash against it but looking now, it was absurd how some circles reacted to it. Not surprised there is some still some of that here considering groups love to be offended by pretty much everything these days.

European one I'm not keen on due to the black border (as with most if not all 64 games here), the US one the red strip on the right ruins it so Japan wins for it's lovely use of pink, my favourite colour.

Adored this game, easily my fave 3d platformer since Sunshine way back. Too many fun moments to choose but the best was finding the last quill in Capital Cashino and thus the last pagie 100% completing it. Weirdly not got around to Impossible Lair.

Technical issues ain't a deal breaker for me though it isn't ideal.

Been interested in the series for a while so nowt gonna stop me enjoying this.

I do love how the North American one has crazy different fonts, gets my vote because of it.

Japan is the worst since Nemesis is not centered and (to me at least) seems to blend into the building too much making it look a bit off while Europe one is midway between being just okay.

I would love them to make another or even port the Wii U game (uncensored of course) but it appears to be one of the series Nintendo has that they consider very niche as shown with their non-existent push of the Wii U game. It's a shame as it adds much needed variety to the Nintendo catalogue.

That sounds hopeful, adored the SNK Heroines game (fave fighter on Switch at the moment) so would love to play the original as well.

Already have the Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories LE on order from NISA Store and debating whether to go for Trials of Mana at launch or a bit later on. Got a fair few JRPGs to get through at the moment but this one looks sooo good.

Take the main art of the NA version and replace the horrible Genesis Red with the lovey Megadrive European blue spine part and you've got a winner. As it stands the Japan version is the best.

Finally some news on this, the one game I was most looking forward to this year and physical confirmed (my main wish) so double good news.

The OP is still ugh (because Trigger)but the rest of the game looks fab from the little I've seen.

I also echo what others have said, would love to see the remaining games on Switch in a collection or standalone. Come on Limited Run...
