@ramu-chan And the PC version will probably reach 120fps 4k, making those versions vastly inferior. Switch also adds portability but you can ignore that factor just because you don't see the appeal of it. After all, everyone has the same tastes as you do /s
@ramu-chan
So you don't understand why this version exists, but you do understand why the PS4 and Xbox versions exist? Why settle for those vastly inferior experiences if you can play it on PC?
@McHaggis explains it perfectly. Furthermore, if you don't like something it doesn't mean it's not very popular and Nintendolife shouldn't talk about it. @Bunkerneath @BouncingHat
This is just what I thought. After all, the games are just legends (as the name suggests) so they most likely all happened in the same timeline in one way or another (creating three different possible timelines). That's why BoTW has references to all timelines, because it doesn't belong to one, it belongs to all.
Looks like a phone game to me. Might be because it's still in early stages of development, but I still feel a bit disappointed. I was interested in trying a Digimon game.
Just finished Shaq Fu and XC2 New game Plus. Will probably play Paladins, Fortnite and Rocket League for my online fix. Might play some Kirby with my bro (new characters) and try to complete 100% Xenoblade 2.
@Cobalt No, you missed my point. The Switch does have new games, as I stated above. However I don't understand why you want so many games? Do you have time to play them all?
@Cobalt Ok but then you can't expect Nintendo to comply with your expectations. I guess you don't count indies either so then you're excluding third parties, ports and indies. You can't expect Nintendo to release more than two goty contenders each year. Last year we had BoTW and Odyssey, this year we have SSBU and Pokemon Let's Go. Next year we might get Metroid and Pokemon gen 8. And that's without counting smaller titles like Splatoon 2, Arms, Kirby, Mario Tennis, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, etc. Oh and by the way, if you have so many games alreadywhy do you care if more are released? You could try and finish or complete the ones you already have if you have nothing else to do.
@Cobalt @New_Guest I had (and still do) a WiiU and still can't keep up with all the good games releasing on Switch. Why? Well first of all owning a WiiU doesn't guarantee owning every single game for the console. I didn't buy DK or Hyrule Warriors and I would get them on Switch if I had the money and time, but sadly I have things to do in the real world. Then there's the fact that third parties are now supporting Nintendo's console. If you have a PC or PS4 you mighy not care, but they are even more games for the Switch and they're portable. You're free to dislike the games but there's no way you can say there are no games on Switch. Most people can't even play all the games because of their lives.
I agree with the points made, but overall I still feel like I'm a lot better at Fortnite with motion than without it. Sure it's not ideal, but it still allows for higher precision and you can now swiftly aim at jumping enemies.
@JayJ Have you played Gear.Club Unlimited without any assists on? It becomes pretty much a sim racer: you'll drift in corners if you don't brake correctly, you'll have full control of yhe gear box which, if used incorrectly, will make you lose control of your car, cars have different attributes to them like maneuverability or throttle, you'll slow down drastically if you hit a wall, etc. The only things missing are real tracks, car damage, tyre wear down and long races (though this can be solved in multiplayer splitscreen by chosing more laps).
@rushiosan Did you really expect him to talk about something that hasn't been announced yet? Let's wait for them to talk about single player before jumping to conclusions.
@Spectra Except we don't know how good the subscription service will be (it's already cheaper than the competition) and you aren't forced to buy the Let's Go games because next year they're releasing a traditional pkmn game (gen 8).
@GoldenGamer88 I usually find a few people to fight along the way, but I understand it could be boring for people who want only action in their games. I'm a very patient person so I have no trouble waiting for battle.
Both you and @mazzel should try 50v50 tho. Try to land really close to where there won't be storm (the circle). There's always a lot more action going on there.
@mazzel @GoldenGamer88
That's part of the fun. It's a risk reward situation. You either go to places with really good drops where everyone will go or go somewhere with worse loot but evading combat. It also adds to the tension. You never know when you'll get sniped or followed by other players so you'll have to be alert.
If you take out those elements stops being what it is and basically becomes another generic shooter.
@Knuckles-Fajita Yeah, some developers clearly don't want to put the effort to deliver the best experience for the consumers (that being by making proper sequels to games and not the same thing over and over, innovating or porting to all platforms). However this is still good news for developers such as Bethesda, Square Enix, Capcom, Bandai Namco, etc. (Even 2k seems to be supporting the Switch) who clearly are investing on the console.
This game is surprisingly decent. I gave it a go because it was free even though I wasn't convinced about it. I ended up liking it quite a lot. People should give this a try.
@Strumpan And I can understand that (except I don't think battling pokemon before capture is such a deal breaker). But people are calling this game only for casuals and not for the hardcore just because of that.
@Blizzia 1- That is what being innovative means. Using existing ideas in new and smart ways. 2- I don't remember a song previous to Sweden's in 2015 that had that type of stage performance.
@Blizzia "It's pretty simple. People have HORRIBLE music taste" Yep that's probably it haha. I have to disagree on your other posts tho. Eurovision winners tend to be the most innovative songs. That's why Portugal won last year (as in innovative for eurovision), why "Heroes" won in 2015, why Euphoria won in 2012, etc. (I stopped there because I don't remember the others). Countries then tend to copy last years winner, which ironically makes the new innovators win. (Favourites don't usually win and are usually horrible songs).
There are of course songs that have won for other reasons (Conchita Wurst, Ugh) but it's not the norm.
I still don't understand how this song is one of the favourites, it's horrible. (Before anyone says it's because eurovision songs are horrible... nah they're mostly very generic but every year there are a bunch that are actually good).
This is great! The Switch is slowly becoming an all in one item. It's already a handheld, home console, toy (labo), musical instrument, programming tool and now a board game too. Soon we'll only need our phones and a Switch for our free time!
This is the best thing about the Switch. All traditionally handheld games will now come to a home console/handheld. Can't wait to see how this, Inazuma Eleven, a Fantasy Life like game, Pokemon, Ace Attorney, Fire Emblem, etc all look on the tv.
Wow it's so weird. Bethesda has gone from not supporting Nintendo at all to being the most supportive third party. "From my perspective, any time we can bring it out on the Switch at the exact same time as the other platforms for new releases, I don’t know why we wouldn’t." Oof this will hurt other third parties coughSquare Enixcough
Bought Skyrim two weeks ago and wow is it great. Now I understand what all the fuss about elder scrolls was. Come on Bethesda, announce ES6 and bring it to Switch!
Maybe this game was made by a smaller team than usual so as to have more people and resources for smash switch. That would explain the 30fps and smash coming to switch so soon. Anyway the game seems fine. If you find allies to be OP simply dont use them. Kirby games tend to be harder in the Arena though.
@StuOhQ I feel like Kirby and Donkey Kong are the only platformers Nintendo is going to release in the first have of 2018. 3 platformers would be a bit overkill.
@Djgoa You're missing the point. It isn't just about building cardboard, it's about transforming your console into a fishing rod, rc bugs, a pedal, a joystick, a doll house, a motorbike handle, etc. In other words: it's about adding new ways to play with your console.
I feel like the Legend of Zelda is named like that for a reason: all the video games are legends. What this means is that every game is a story passed down through time so they're all in the same timeline but might not be entirely true, just like legends. They have been exagerated or made up and have been passed on generation after generation. They're not stories then, but legends of the hero.
Lol at everyone saying BotW doesn't have good/memorable music. Have any of you played the game more than once? Or listened to its soundtrack? I'm pretty sure you haven't. Most of the game is based on the world's exploration (which doesn't really have music) but the best tracks are found in certain events (?) such as Hyrule Castle, Sidon's theme, Dark Beast Ganon's fight, etc. It's impossible to remember a song just hearing it once.

Re: Nintendo's Share Price Sees Dramatic Rise After Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Reveals
I really don't understand the worries people seem to have with hardcore vs casual, specially with the Switch. First with Labo and then with Pokémon. Why does it matter so much to you people if a game is considered casual or hardcore? People are hating Lets go just because you capture pkmn like in Go which everyone, therefore it was somehow considered casual. Like the game? Buy it. Don't like it? (Even though we haven't seen enough to determine) Then don't buy it. But if you simply dislike it because there are Go elements in it you should get a personality check.
