Nintendo UK has released information relating to a series of Labo workshops it will be holding next month.
From February 14th to 17th, the company will be holding events where you can go hands-on with the new product in South Kensington, London. The deadline for registering your interest is February 1st.
If you’re a parent/guardian – or another relative – who would like your child or children to try out Nintendo Labo before it hits shelves on April 27th, you might be interested to attend the Nintendo Labo Workshop in London. You may even become a part of our campaign to show Nintendo Labo off to people around the world!
What is the Nintendo Labo Workshop?
The Nintendo Labo Workshop is a special event where we're bringing kids, parents, media and influencers together to make, play and discover with Nintendo Labo. Space is limited, so if you're interested, please sign up below for the chance to attend!
Please note that Nintendo will be filming promotional material at these events, which may be used as part of our advertising campaigns. Additional Terms & Conditions apply, so please read them carefully before submitting your application.
Not only that, Nintendo UK has opened its own regional YouTube channel for Labo here. We assume any footage taken at the London events will be put live on that channel.
Will you be signing up? Let us know if so.

I wouldn't mind seeing more about the labo
It's good timing as it's uk school holidays would of love to gone with my son
I really dont get it. Its cardboard! U can build stuff out of cardboard now for free.
I can see Nintendo at the end saying all that stuff you've just built take it home and you just need the game.
For all the muppets saying its just cardboard, it includes the game which is mandatory in order to make use of the interactive toys.
Anyway, signed up, number 6000 odd, so chances of getting a slot, slim but hey
Filled everything out and on the last page it asked me how many kids I’d be bringing. I said 0 and got told you have to bring a kid!!! My daughter is only 9 months old, think it might all be a bit overwhelming for her!!
@Djgoa
You're missing the point. It isn't just about building cardboard, it's about transforming your console into a fishing rod, rc bugs, a pedal, a joystick, a doll house, a motorbike handle, etc. In other words: it's about adding new ways to play with your console.
I guess this is a good opportunity to ask that young cousin we never talk to and bring them to the event so we can try Labo.
Kids have to be at least 7 years-old. That sucks. My 5 year-old will have no problem with this, especially if I'm accompanying her.
@riChchestM you can take her. Just email them.
What a great idea. Build the cardboard stuff at the workshop and play the game. That way you don't need to waste your own money buying it.
I get that software comes with it, too. But does the software really seem worth that price either? Everyone was crapping all over Project Robot, but now that it has a cardboard accessory it's going to be worth $80? And the variety pack is $10 cheaper but one of the "games" is touching left or right on the switch to make your controller vibrate. The rest look like small little mini games.
I understand why people like the concept of it. And maybe there is more to the games than we have seen so far. But as of now, Nintendo has shown cardboard and mini games which is going to sell for greater than normal retail price for a game.
Also, I'm not hating on anyone that likes it because I really do like the idea. I just don't get what people see in the software announced so far.
@Damo This is also available in NA in both San Francisco and New York. The info is on the NA Nintendo website.
@Fuz plenty of rich people ‘round there!
