What an I paying $20 for? They can't even fix p2p on smash Bros ultimate.
Heck third partys had to implement voice chat. This is comeing from a Nintendo fan before you say "Hurrr Durrr Nintendo h8r" I've owned all the versions of the 3ds and more handhelds than I can count. IT IS A VAILD CRITICISM! This is not an okey way to run an online service you pay money for.

As others have said no access to hardware, sandboxed. So unless the sandbox is broken no you can't "mod ur switch" with this.

Just to confirm my turtle beach p11's work and they use USB for mic and audio jack for sound.

Voice chat does work through USB.

The only thing I hate about switch, well.. other than no local backups, hacking was an excuse there were not any save file hacks until the system was blown wide open or you needed to install them via another entry point.

@DonSerrot well I'd better hope so, but so far we only have splatoon 2 that's p2p, also I was hoping they would drop the stupid phone app and just have voice chat on the switch. I've watched my frinds get togather on XBO and it seems so easy. Unfortunately I have to text my friends and hope they have their phone to play with them on switch.

Still too much for p2p connections, oh well been thinking about upgrading my pc anyways. I really hate how paying for online has become standard now.

@mowerdude overwatch can run on an i5 440 gtx, I highly doubt it's impossible to optimize a switch version.

@gatorboi352 because in my eyes the XBO/PS4 are underpowered pc's. This is why I mainly only go with handheld system granted your view is probably different but the factor for me is that PS4/XBO only have a handful of exclusives and that's not enough to make me buy one, the switch however has portability as other have pointed out.

If you look at all game there Is a ton of sovelware and puzzle games. Nintendo has done a good job with keeping the good games on the front page
