ok multiplayer with the kids during daytime then infuriating challenge mode at night when they sleep (so I can swear n punch the sofa if I have to)

well I love my wife for tolerating my passion for video games but if I just started collecting empty boxes for the sake of displaying index spines I think she would finally say enough is enough n that maybe I needed professional help

@Medic_alert I dont see the appeal of displaying empty boxes. how can you consider it a game collection without the games? it would be an empty box collection not a video game collection. does that make sense to you?

Im currently playing through this game. its a nice challenge n a great spiritual successor to wonder boy. only thing I dislike so far is the recycled wonder boy tunes (heard them to death) and the pig transformation is a dud

glad I held off playing this back in the day. hope it gets a physical. finally another open fantasy world thats not skyrim!

I found the first game to be a pretty soulless affair n the system was complicated for the sake of complexity n was pretty redundant. maybe my tastes have just changed? I loved every rpg back in the ps1 days (they weren't jrpg back then) but no longer seem to be able fixate my attention on them. I love my skyrim but jrpg's dont seem important anymore its like devs are just trying to capitalize on nostalgia n have mistaken complexity for innovation..

tony hawk on the dreamcast was awesome fun. I dont think a 2d skate boarding game could surpass that but Im willing to give it a try if it goes physical..

@WiltonRoots well there was a sequel on the ds that was a big step down from the original. I played the sequel okamiden before playing okami n thought it was pretty great. when I ended playing okami later afterwards I realized how much more grand it was in every regards compared to the ds sequel

@WiltonRoots I finished that game on the wii. was a great journey if not a tad bit over bloated imo

princess madelyn & monster boy. I love my retro but it feels a little bit too much like Im just playing ghouls n ghosts & wonder boy all over again..

@The-Chosen-one yeah but smash is an enhance version of smash wii u while metroid is being made from the ground up so the comparison isnt a great one. anyway I hope it comes this year but would rather wait instead of having some rushed product..

I miss the ATLUS from the ds era where they were pumping out quality after quality. Give us Etrian Odyssey on switch!
