A 9/10 Nintendo game, so probably around 5/10. 🤔
I was skipping through all the cutscenes eventually in Three Houses because I couldn't stand the story, so there's nothing for me here. I managed to stomach the musou gameplay for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, but Fire Emblem's storytelling is not interesting enough to win me over.

@Kidfunkadelic83 I assume you tried changing the HDMI speed to –2 in settings? Or turning off HDCP? I'm in the process of trying to fix blackouts on PS5 (and, yes, a Samsung TV), and maybe, hopefully, –2 helped…?

16 USD is considered "as little as"? In my country that is considered an amazing salary. I earn around 11 USD per hour and I consider it a great salary.

@okeribok This! I love games that don't use saving as a gameplay mechanic. If I cannot save freely, I'm much more likely to abandon a game…

Examples of games/series with near perfect saving options: Pokémon, Ace Attorney, Zelda: BotW, Uncharted, anything with frequent auto-saving

Stinkers: New Super Mario Bros., Shin Megami Tensei V, older Dragon Quest games, Persona 5

I wish they made a game based on Kaiketsu Zorro. 😢

I would maybe consider buying it… But I don't want to apply another screen protector in my life. At least not for just a slightly nicer Switch. Screen protectors are the bane of my existence. 😅 I'd rather drink a bottle of ketchup.

@Jamie_R Pokémon Snap returned, so… It's certainly not impossible! That being said, they would probably make it into a mobile game.

Why only now? I preordered mine in the Czech Republic the day Switch OLED was announced, or a day after.

I only bought the VR kit and didn't even bother assembling the bazooka. Folding cardboard wasn't as satisfying as I expected.

Finally, the GBA edition!

I grew up with almost zero Nintendo presence (except for Pokémon), so that's fine by me. My Nintendo nostalgia reaches only as far back as my late teenage years (2007 onwards).

Looks fresh! I'd buy it if I still played the game and had space to put it.

Do we know if button controls can be used in docked mode? As far as I know, Nintendo never confirmed that the button controls can be used anywhere else than the handheld mode.

While it looks really cool, I don't believe Game Freak is able to make a game looking this good. So I guess I'd rather have a good safe remake than a poor ambitious one. We're still getting the Legends game set in old Sinnoh, so that's pretty good, too.

OMG, the COMPRESSION on this track! Is that a joke? It's unbearable. The song is nice but it sounds like music coming from a phone speaker with some dirt stuck in it. And I though Red Hot Chilli Pepped were bad. 😨

Utah looks cool. I wonder how the developers would utilise the L-shaped screen. Perhaps some stats or a mini map in the top-left corner of the screen?

So now we're going to have more expensive games and still no Disney+ in our "Eastern" European countries? Cool. I'd prefer it the other way round, though. Let companies adjust prices to local markets, but prevent geo-blocking countries from getting the same services as other "important" European countries like Germany or France.

@monkeydude Of course, people can love or hate whatever they want. But their personal opinion is not objective truth. I also realise that Grammy's etc. are not objective measures and I'm open to hearing about other, more objective ones. The number of albums sold, perhaps?
As far as I know, we can objectively say that "Bad Guy" is a song and "Bass Guy" is its parody. Whether we like them or not, that's opinion, and we're all equally correct in them.

@PickledKong64 You clearly meant "subjectively", not "objectively". If you want to be objective, you must admit the song is great, seeing how many awards it won.

@ALinkttPresent Yes, the article says "for example" and then continues explaining why this country, picked as an example, might not get the game. I was just curious why Belgium was such a jarring omission, but not Poland, Czechia or Slovakia.

Why did you focus so much on Belgium if the game won't be available in many other countries, European or otherwise?

This is the game whose author said that Super Mario Odyssey was not fun? Meh, I'll pass. The gameplay doesn't look fun in the slightest.

@Damo Not necessarily… Maybe I’m not the brightest one out there, but I was really delighted to meet another character in the game I didn’t expect. I don’t remember Red appearing in Yellow (sorry if he did), so this seems like a new thing introduced in Let’s Go. I think I’m with Arlo on this one – it’s much better to discover things on your own and be surprised. That being said, guides like this article are also important because not everyone will discover everything on their own. If I could suggest something, maybe less obvious titles would be a good thing? Something like “How to find cameos” or “Check if you discovered all the easter eggs in the game with this guide!”. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know.
