The amiibo train can't stop, and shoppers in the UK have some more thinking to do with GAME opening pre-orders on a range of options - all of which are still available at the time of writing.
First-up, pre-orders are open for the first six figures above - Jigglypuff, Dark Pit, Palutena, Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus and Greninja.
Secondly, GAME has also joined in with various Splatoon bundle options up for pre-order - the game alone, the special edition with the Squid amiibo, or a bundle that'll have the game and all three amiibo.
The official Nintendo UK store is particularly low on amiibo stock right now, while a number of its bundle options for Splatoon are sold out.
If you want to see all of the GAME offerings, hit up this page, on which you can also gawk at packaging for the Yoshi's Woolly World amiibo.
Will you be jumping in on these pre-orders? Let us know.

It's bad that I'm worried I'm out and about when Wooly World Amiibo's are released. The reason is I know how quick the preorders seem to be going.
Nope, there is no way I'd ever pay £15 per amiibo Game are an absolute disgrace.
I need to head into EB games sometime and see if i can pre-order the Ganondorf amiibo.
Got Dark Pit and Palutena preordered, gonna wait for the official store/ for Greninja and Jigglypuff
Considering the pre-orders were put up at 1am this morning and are still available to pre-order, this is definately down to Game not shipping them outside of the UK.
Although i'm sorry for the fans in the US not being able to grab some of these figures due to store exclusives, i'm pleased for the UK fans as it gives them a chance to obtain these figures.
Can anyone tell me when I can pre order olimar, Dr Mario and bowser Jnr and the Yoshi. There's no option on the game website
@immensechicken Olimar, Dr. Mario and Bowser Jr. are not available to order from anywhere yet.
There are several in the list that I want, but I'd rather take my chances with the UK Nintendo store than pay Game's overly-inflated prices... Besides the one I want the most (Captain Olimar / Pikmin) seems to not be available...
@NintendoFanBoy16 I was genuinely gobsmacked when I saw the amiibo were all STILL available for preorder this morning...
I thought... amiibo... still available... Never... Normally I see them all sold out...
But apparently so... XD
@Jazzer94 Fine! Go pay 100 then for these plastic things!
@Alundra-1998 Seeing as how the distribution of our waves differ to that of the US, i guess Nintendo must have been on to game retailers to stop them from shipping outside the UK to stop other countries, mainly the US, from receiving the figures early.
@NintendoFanBoy16 What wave are we on right now? I became confused after Nintendo released the Super Mario Collection Wave in March...
@Jazzer94 I'd rather not pay £15 each for them either, but considering how quickly the preorders on nintendo.co.uk sell out, I'd rather pay £15 each than not have them at all, or have to pay about £50 each Ebay scalp prices
@Alundra-1998
Wave 4 for the SSB range.
Just remember guys that if you manage to pre-order them off of Nintendo UK then you can always cancel your other pre-orders with other online retailers.
Will the Splatoon amiibo work with Mariokart 8 to have squid suits for your miis? That would be awesome...
I am sure that we are on more than Wave 4 to be honest...
I am really confused with all these amiibo... I just preorder them all tbh...
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave One: November 28th 2014.
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave Two: December 19th 2014
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave Three: January 23rd 2015
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave Four: February 20th 2015
Super Mario Collection Wave One: March 20th 2015
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave Five: April 24th 2015
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave Six: May 29th 2015
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave Seven: June 2015
Super Smash Bros. Collection Wave Eight: July 2015
I could have thought those were correct unless I am mixing up waves, could you or someone please let me know or direct me to somewhere that shows which amiibo are from which wave. lol
@TwilightAngel I wouldn't pay £100 either as I'm not an idiot, I look around and get the ones I want for £10/11 (what they are supposed to cost).
@Achoo Yaaay! Thank you for googling that for me. XD
I have just checked the third link down and I see now, thanks again.
Stiiiiiiiiillll waiting for my Ness Amiibo. Only fifteen days to go, I guess...
Good on Game for blocking International orders. I know American Collectors are having hard luck but unfortunately the scalpers would easily steal them from our hands, and the fact we can even still order them right now is proof of that.
I just hope the scalpers do not start to make UK contacts in order to get their hands on our Amiibo....
@Achoo That is the American list of amiibo waves. I believe it has been slightly different for the UK because the Jigglypuff amiibo and Greninja amiibo have a different release date to that of Ness, Lucina, Robin, Pac-Man, Charizard and Wario...
Ness, Lucina, Robin, Pac-Man, Charizard and Wario: April 24th.
Jigglypuff and Greninja: May 29th.
@Alundra -1998 I'm pretty sure that were still on Wave 4 in UK (EU) as some of the waves were split up.
Wave 4 comprises of Charizard, Wario, Pacman, Robin, Lucina, and Ness, which come out at the end of April, and Wave 5 are the current figures up for pre-order.
Game have also confirmed via Twitter that all orders using forwarding UK addresses via forwarding sites will be also be manually cancelled.
@NintendoFanBoy16 Alright, cool. It is just that the rest of the supposed Wave 5. Ganondorf, Palutena, Dark Pit and Zero Suit Samus have a release date of the 19th of June unlike Jigglypuff and Greninja.
But oh well. It cannot be helped, but it is really odd.
So bad that they keep releasing new ones when over half the past waves are not in stock... poor show Nintendo.
@InnerSpirit I think once all the waves have been released then Nintendo will release some of the rarer amiibo figures abeit in scarce numbers.
Got all Amiibo preordered through GAME until Nintendo UK put them up and then I will order them on the the Nintendo UK website and cancel the Game orders once I have them secured I refuse to pay GAME there scalper prices if I can avoid it.
I've managed to pre order all 6 of the smash bros amiibos so i'm happy.
Any ideas on game compatibility? All work in Smash, but is that it? Would Ganondorf work on Hyrule Warriors?
@Jazzer94 GAME have been an absolute disgrace for years now. The reason I still shop at with GAME is because I get quite a few promotional items every so often for free.
@PinkSpider ShopTo.net have them all available for 13p less. XD
And Jigglypuff is already available on Ebay right now for £44.99. And you thought GAME were scalpers. Monopoly stickers also available. You can get Park Lane, which isn't even the rarest, for £3000! World's full of scumbag opportunists. Going to check there's not a granny section on there too!
I've done the same as a few of you- pre-ordered at Game then when Nintendo's store open up orders i'll go there. Saves £4 a figure that's for sure!
Game have done a great service in stopping overseas orders of amiibos and while it took far too long to do so, i think Nintendo must have said something and from now on this'll be the case. I was the one to tweet them about Forward2Me and they then said on twitter that all those in the USA who use forwarding service addresses will be cancelled manually. Good. It does suck for them but each territory has their own stock allocation so to take away from ours is just plain wrong. To think loads of people were bragging on reddit this morning but not any more!
I was dreading ordering them this morning and yes while the website was very slow, i could order them no problem. I hope Nintendo's store does decide to to put that Splatoon pack back up- to do so few is very silly indeed. Ah well at least i got the green squid and tshirt bundle inky size. That tshirt looks awesome!
Eh... I cracked and pre-ordered Palutena and Dark Pit and the Splatoon bundle.
GAME is definitely not the best but I've had the reward card for years now and I just roll with it now. The occasional free bonuses are nice though.
This is what I would like to preorder two copies of if I get the chance.
http://www.game.co.uk/en/yoshis-woolly-world-with-green-pink-and-light-blue-yarn-yoshi-amiibo-558869?catGroupId=
But unfortunately, it clearly states "Please note: only one per customer." on the page already...
I still find it bizarre how Shop To had them up yesterday and now GAME has theirs up today. So when will Amazon UK and the Nintendo UK store have them?
@Sandstorm64 Nintendo UK Store is usually a little slower, I've noticed.
Fortunately, I have UK contacts so I got my Zero Suit Samus and Greninja pre-order in (ZSS is my main, so I had to!) if that makes me the scum of the Earth for doing that, so be it. Obviously if I can procure them here in the States, I'll promptly cancel my UK order.
Despite my better judgement I tried to get Greninja and Jigglypuff. The site is giving me a Fraud Failure after several attemps. I really shouldn't bother with these anymore.
@Sir_JBizzle I think that makes Nintendo the scum of the earth. Their strategies to create scarcity are indefensible.
I'd prefer to pre-order from Nintendo UK's official store, but GAME will do fine too.
I saved £6 with some points I'd saved up anyway, so I pre-ordered Greninja and Jigglypuff.
Already got them all pre-ordered
@the_truth I wish retailers here in NA did a better job at handling of pre-orders. I think a good idea is to have an open pre-order window, limit the amount one can order on a per account/address/credit card basis and once that window expires, close pre-orders. I'm sure scalpers will find a way to circumvent the system, but it would seem that would at least help the NA situation a bit and give a good idea about allocation. But yeah, the onus is on Nintendo for not making enough of the darn things, and that's before getting into retail exclusives.
@antipop621 you're more than likely getting that message because they're blocking international orders which I understand, but sucks for us folks in North America who aren't scalpers.
pre ordered jiggly and greninja. already ordered others on shopto. But if amazon put them up and I get to re order I will cancel these as amazon will be cheaper.
@Sir_JBizzle Thanks for the tip. I'm indeed not a scalper. I'm a bit shocked that they would block NA customers but so be it. That's it for me then.
i hope that everything gets restocked later
I feel silly for not seeing the fine print saying non-UK residents are blocked. That's what happens when the panic sets in to buy amiibo.
Either way,I'm happy for those in the UK who can get them.
I have done reasonably well so far in acquiring amiibo figures.
I have all of the following currently on preorder.
1. Pac Man April 24th
2. Ness April 24th
3. Wario April 24th
4. Charizard April 24th
5. Lucina April 24th
6. Robin April 24th
7. Wario April 24th
8. Charizard April 24th
9. Jigglypuff May 29th
10. Greninja May 29th
11. Dark Pit June 16th
12. Zero Suit Samus June 16th
13. Ganondorf June 16th
14. Palutena June 16th
15. Zero Suit Samus June 16th
16. Ganondorf June 16th
17. Palutena June 16th
I preordered two Ness figures from the official UK store BEFORE they imposed a one per customer policy (I wanted one to display mint on card)
However the store canceled BOTH preorders of Ness and told me to reorder when the figure was offered again for sale at a certain time and date. Despite refreshing the page every two minutes for two hours Ness never went back on sale.
Why couldn't they have cancelled just ONE Ness figure??
@antipop621 no problem. It's just managing stock to make sure the folks over there gets theirs. Abhorrent pricing aside, you gotta commend GAME for proactively trying to manage their stock. The folks in NA could definitely learn a thing or two. Though despite customers literally breaking the GameStop servers, I think they handled their pre-order situation well by forcing folks to go to the store. Hopefully they'll have another wave of pre-orders online, as I missed out on Robin and Lucina.
Well of the 7 I wanted I only managed 4 by the time I read this post. Surprised that many were still in stock tbh.
@Baker1000 Which ones were the ones that you managed to get?
Got my Ganondorf pre-ordered. Easily the amiibo I was most looking forward to being released. Hesitation has cost me in the past so don't mind paying a few extra clams to get it. Happy days.
The fact that everyone else is getting other amiibos so easily really upsets me. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you guys, but god the amiibo situation in NA is infuriating.
@Sir_JBizzle
"The folks in NA could definitely learn a thing or two. Though despite customers literally breaking the GameStop servers, I think they handled their pre-order situation well by forcing folks to go to the store."
I can tell you that it wasn't handled well. GameStop announced on Twitter that online pre-orders would be going live at 3pm EST. However, they failed to mention that it was only for at the stores. They apparently sent out memos later but most places didn't have enough time to post their update, nor would people have payed attention because they were ready to go on the GameStop website. Me personally, I only found out around 4pm from people posting on twitter.
It was a colossal fail, because the entire NA internet was waiting to go, hence the server crash. By the time people knew that they had to pre-order in the store, it was too late for most. If you couldn't skip out on your responsibilities it was, oh well, tough luck.
I have a job, and there was not way I could just, up and leave. By the time I made it to GameStop, I only managed to get Pac-Man, and missed Ness by mere seconds.
I'll agree that making people go to the store is fine, but the bait and switch GameStop pulled wasn't appreciated. It's made even worse to make people choose between their responsibilities and pre-ordering amiibos.
On the issue of price, ShopTo have also raised their prices for the latest wave to ~£15 each. I guess it was bound to happen considering the popularity.
With the 4 June figures being on my order, its gonna be a a bit pricey for me. However once they are done, I think that's all the SSB characters I want so I may get a break for amiibo (well, apart from awaiting a Shulk re-issue).
Does anybody know if the jigglypuff and greninja amiibo are exclusive to game or will they be sold else where. I am in Ireland.
@AceTrainerBean
Here ya go, I don't know if they are in stock though as it won't say until you click and doing so will automatically place a preorder for me!

http://www.shopto.net/video-games/wiiu/WIIUAM42-amiibo-smash-greeninja
@FX102A Thank you so much I appreciate the fast response gonna check the links out now =)
@MoonKnight7 Agreed. I saw the memo when it went live at 7 and based upon it stating that orders were WIS and online I went to the website to get my preorders. When I went to the store during my lunch (I work GS after my day job) the line was out the door. Gamestop handled this poorly and I submitted a complaint to my District Manager. (I'll let you know if i get fired for it)
@FX102A I spoke to a ShopTo Customer Service Representative and the price rise is because of purchasing better boxes to put the amiibo in as ShopTo.net are now well aware of the collectors value of these items. He even told me that there has been some complaints that the amiibo have been arriving damaged and customers are not happy and ShopTo are not even getting the damaged ones back because of how rare these items have become.
Just on the subject, I have it even worse...
I have got Ness, Charizard, Wario, Wario, Charizard, Robin, Lucina and Pac-Man on preorder at £10.85 each and Jigglypuff, Greninja, Zero Suit Samus, Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Palutena, Dark Pit, Palutena, and Ganondorf at £14.86 each. :/
Well im thankfull to have these all pre-ordered now, including the Splatoon Amiibo 3 pack.
When can we expect the others plus Woolly Yoshi packs to be available for order?
I got Dark Pit and Palutena preordered!
@Alundra-1998
Hmm, makes sense. My Zelda and Pit were from ShopTo and yeah, the Pit box was a bit mashed but it kinda helped me as it stopped me from leaving them boxed. But I did feel the collectors would be peeved and I feared a damaged amiibo.
"but it kinda helped me as it stopped me from leaving them boxed." I undid my Toon Link amiibo for the same reason, but that was from Nintendo Store.
We have something common. Let's become friends.
The latest wave of pre-orders are still available at Game.
I'm getting slightly worried that Game may have overestimated how many of these figures they are actually going to receive from Nintendo. I think there's going to be alot of people with cancelled orders, near to the release date.
@NintendoFanBoy16 Ah, a repeat of the Shulk amiibo crisis of 2015?
game are shengus the one in my city centre has an awful nintendo section. Pretty much all they have outside of mk8/ssb/mm3d is preowned shovelware or stock clearances like red steel for 49p.
@Ryu_Niiyama @MoonKnight7 yeah that's what I was referring to, having to go into the store to pre-order, not the whole "bait and switch" part. I'm looking at it from the angle of how Best Buy, Target and TRU handled their pre-orders. They went up and were gone in minutes (even seconds). At least with GameStop (as a guy outside looking in) there was a fair chance for folks to get any at all. I didn't get to GS until almost 6 (being that I had to work) and managed to get them all with the exception of Robin and Lucina. I suppose that's why I consider it a win.
Was it perfect? Heck no. But I just viewed it as a step in the right direction.
@NintendoFanBoy16 Either that or most people who bought amiibo from the website in the past were from the US.
All I really wanted was Robin and Lucina, but I missed out on them (but then again, I scored 4 gold Mario's, so I can't complain). Ganondorf would be nice, and maybe Palutena... But over here in US, I can just kiss any chance at getting them goodbye.
Somebody needs to make an Amiibo trading website. Like 99gamers, but for amiibo strictly. I would be SO willing to trade My Ness, or Gold Mario for somebody's Robin and/or Lucina.
@Grumblevolcano Could be, but it's more likely their taking too many orders than they will have stock allocated for, it's happened numerous times before with them.
@JellySplat I would gladly trade either Robin or Lucina for a Gold Mario if my pre-orders come through and you don't mind EU packaging.
Id say no to that price, but I just dropped £20 for a Japanese Pac-Man.
I'm looking at Olimar and Jigglypuff, but I'll wait for the Official UK Store offering before going to GAME. Not bothering with Amazon after having my pre-orders for Pac-Man and Shulk cancelled.
@NintendoFanBoy16 Here's hoping... It would be unusual to not restock a product that has been sold out for nearly half a year. Supply and demand... there's plenty of demand... very little supply.
Pre Ordered all of them except the Splatoon Amiibo.
EB Games Australia is notorious for making the pre orders available straight after a Nintendo Direct.
@NintendoFanBoy16
Well, as I'd probably be opening them anyway, I might take you up on that. I want to see if I can snag one at Best Buy first though, (loath as I am to say it). I also got a Ness on Preorder that I ordered because I couldn't get Lucina, and he was exclusive, so we might be able to negotiate there.
For the record, I bought the Gold Mario's so that I could give them to other people for $13.00 or trade other amiibo for them. Not to scalp them. Just thought I'd put that out there.
@MoonKnight7
I hear ya man. I was lucky enough to snag a Ness, but I was SOL on Robin and Lucina. The guy at the counter literally had them in my cart, and then they were sold out by the time he clicked "checkout".
But if you ask me, Toys R us screwed up even worse! I stayed up 'till 3 o'clock on the 3rd, refreshing the amiibo page, but as it turns out, they listed them on the Nintendo page. So I was actually on at the right time, but on the wrong page. Very misleading.
Not to mention, they announced on their Facebook or twitter or whatever, that they would be listing the wave 4 amiibo at 6am on the 3rd of April. But then went and released them at 3am! Really disappointing how poorly they handled it.
It was sheer luck that I was up at the right time, but sheer stupidity that I was the wrong freaking page!
I've tried three times to check out with Zero Suit Samus, and every time it failed with "fraud failure" ???
EDIT: POOPOOCOCKADOODLEDOO...
Please note: only one amiibo figurine per customer.
Please note: this item is unavailable to non-UK residents.
I preordered palutena and zero suit samus from game last night and I got an email saying that my items were cancelled! This Amiibo business is just awful! No one can flipping get the Amiibo they want!
@StarDust4Ever Game.co.uk have put a block on international orders with regards to amiibo, so if you're in the US you won't be able to preorder any from there, not even using a UK forwarding address (they're onto it).
On the one hand I feel bad for people who can't get them anywhere in the world, on the other hand I'm glad that they had preorders available for more than 5 minutes this time to customers who actually live here
@Jazzer94 Ebay and Amazon are a true disgrace! with their stupid scalpers.
One customer had wrote that only just TWO DAYS after the Meta Knight Nintendo Amiibo Figure had released it was priced on Amazon for £60!!!!!!!!
this really annoys me and would annoy serious collectors even more.
Karma will them all pay.
It will be very hard for us all to own every single Nintendo Amiibo figure at the recommended retail price.
@Alundra-1998 Dark Pit, Palutena, Zero Suit Samus and Ganondorf.
Zero Suit Samus is the only one I want that I haven't reserved preorders for. I'm sure Dr Mario will be available when it relases, because he's frigging Mario. I'm glad I'm not after ever character or I would be bankrupt by now...
