@penfold007 Loads of people are buying their first Switch every year, and it’s still the best football game on the Switch. Ergo, it sells loads every year.
Don't really see the point, to be honest... Mario Kart is already a fun, colourful, cartoony game, so a Lego version doesn't really seem much different.
@Snatcher I don't see how it's a rip-off. The best calculator apps take time and effort to develop and cost money to buy. Even the good Android ones, whose users are famously resistant to paying for apps, cost $3 or so, while pCalc for iOS is $9.99.
@KiryuJ Unfortunately, unless everyone walks from their house to the theme park, takes their own food, and eats it outside, a visit to the park involves a good deal of not being outdoors.
@Anti-Matter “Old style gaming” is cups and dice made out of animal horn. In comparison, physical cartridge releases were a brief fad around the turn of the 20th century.
@COVIDberry Given that they said last year they don't have any plans for a physical release, I think it's safe to say there isn't going to be a physical release.
I know, Nintendo sucks etc. But you do have to wonder who would even start making a fan-made Ninetendo game these days when everyone knows this is exactly what’s going to happen to it, and there are plenty other games they could make instead.
@mariomaster96 There's absolutely nothing wrong with buying it, it's a perfectly reasonable football game. If you then buy any subsequent version, however...
Still play it fairly regularly as it's easy to play in short bursts, but the mobile mechanics (no pun intended) still irk me greatly for a console title. Haven't spent a cent on it though, so hard to complain.
@Ironcore On the other hand, I’ve always preferred 30fps racing games because it feels more like it looks on TV. 60fps just looks all weird and floaty, with much less sense of speed.
@Entrr_username Same as always... companies are legally required to defend their IPs or risk losing them, even if they have no current plans to do anything with them.
@MattAllsopp You'd have to ask Feral Interactive about that... I'd guess they have first refusal, having done the Grid Autosport port for Switch, and the F1 ports for Mac and Linux.
I'd still be playing it if Epic hadn't trashed the Mac and Linux versions. (I've tried on my Switch Lite, but the analog stick just doesn't seem as accurate as the Xbox ones, so half the time I end up flipping sideways instead of straight foward.)
Always thought this was the most over-hyped entry in the Burnout series tbh, never really worked as an open world game for me, for many of the reasons mentioned in the review. The most fun part was probably the multiplayer, but even that relied pretty heavily on voice chat to complete some of the missions etc.

Re: Best Game Boy Advance (GBA) Games
I had a GBA and DS Lite for years and I've never played any of these...
Re: What Are Your Favourite Switch Online SNES And NES Games? Nintendo Wants To Know
Pretty pointless publicity stunt, given they already know exactly who has played which games and for how long.
Re: Nintendo Shares Its May eShop Highlights
Haven't played any of them. Or bought a new Switch game in months, for that matter.
Re: Video: Get A Closer Look At Nintendo's Game Builder Garage
@NoTinderLife So close to being a sick burn, but feel free to try again later.
Re: NES Open Tournament Golf
Like most golf games of the time, totally spoiled by the impossible putting mechanics.
Re: Random: What If Nintendo Made A LEGO Mario Kart Game?
Don't really see the point, to be honest... Mario Kart is already a fun, colourful, cartoony game, so a Lego version doesn't really seem much different.

Well, I've played one of those, at least.
Re: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Retains Its Crown In Nintendo Switch Best-Selling Games List
It also retains its crown as the only one of the top 10 I've ever played on my Switch. (Or anyone else's.)
Re: SnowRunner For Nintendo Switch Might Include Mod Support
@nessisonett Nothing to do with being dodgy in my case, just prefer my games to be designed by professionals rather than randos on the internet.
Re: SnowRunner For Nintendo Switch Might Include Mod Support
Never been the least bit interested in mods, but still likely to buy this.
Re: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Will Use An English-Style Court System
Nobody will be “objecting” if it’s a British court. That’s a purely American thing.

Another toad that's really a mushroom. Bizarre.

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 12.0.0 Is Now Live
Anyone who’s expecting any big UI changes now with a Switch Pro supposedly somewhat imminent is going to continue to be disappointed.

@gcunit Feral have made it pretty clear there isn't going to be a physical release of GRID Autosport. I'd just move on if I were you.

@Valdney I’ve only ever managed to find anyone else online once.

Re: Netflix Is Winding Down Its Services On Wii U And 3DS
I've never watched anything on Netflix in my life and I've never owned a WiiU or a 3DS. But hey, this is the internet, so I'm going to comment anyway.

Re: Random: Epic Games Apparently Still Needs Your Help To "Free Fortnite"
@Moistnado And yet, they sell some of the most popular consumer products in the world. Go figure.
Re: Asphalt 9: Legends Receives Its Second Major Update On Nintendo Switch
Still play it fairly regularly as it's easy to play in short bursts, but the mobile mechanics (no pun intended) still irk me greatly for a console title. Haven't spent a cent on it though, so hard to complain.

Re: First Impressions: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit
Just a hunch, but I suspect the reason it won't (fully) work on carpet is that drift mechanic.
Re: Poll: It's Been One Year Since Mario Kart Tour Was Released, Are You Still Playing It?
Haven't really played it since I got a Switch Lite in June.
Re: Rocket League Goes Free-To-Play On Nintendo Switch Next Week
@PlayedNSlayed Yes, it’s permanent. At least until a Epic pulls another move of some description, which is bound to happen sometime.
Re: Rocket League Goes Free-To-Play On Nintendo Switch Next Week
@Shamrock Reviving from what? It’s as popular as ever.
Re: Rocket League Goes Free-To-Play On Nintendo Switch Next Week

Surely somebody in his line of work would know a real decorator.
Re: Fortnite Gets A Timely Tribute To Black Panther
So it's not a tribute at all then, it's just a coincidence. Nice clickbait.
Re: Amazon Lists Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered For Nintendo Switch
Not generally interested in remasters when I still have the original games and consoles to play them on... so, no.
Re: GoldenEye 25 Shuts Down After Cease And Desist From 007 IP Holder

Re: The State Of The Switch eShop Is "Heartbreaking" Says No More Robots Boss
@Crockin Given that no other app store has really fixed it either, presumably quite a bit.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #54 - Dr. Mario
@Daniel36 Not as good to American and European eyes, of course. Japanese art is designed for the Japanese market, and they know what they like.
Re: Speed 3: Grand Prix Brings Explosive Arcade Racing To Switch
I was interested until I heard "drift mode". Drifting ain't racing.
Re: Speed 3: Grand Prix Brings Explosive Arcade Racing To Switch
@MattAllsopp You'd have to ask Feral Interactive about that... I'd guess they have first refusal, having done the Grid Autosport port for Switch, and the F1 ports for Mac and Linux.
Re: Shaun The Sheep's Switch Party Game Is Getting One Of The Cheapest Physical Editions We've Seen
@Xiovanni So would I, I'd only be able to play it until December.
Re: Shaun The Sheep's Switch Party Game Is Getting One Of The Cheapest Physical Editions We've Seen
I'm sure it's a fun game, but I have to say this graphical style looks nothing like Aardman. I barely even recognised Shaun.
Re: PES On Nintendo Switch Is "Getting Closer", Says Series Brand Manager
So basically, neither of those things is going to happen, is it.
Re: Fans Have Discovered A Private Mario 35th Anniversary Twitter Account
@Octane They can of course, though it’s trickier to make one with a recovery email address that matches that pattern, But far from impossible.
Re: Psyonix Celebrates Rocket League's Fifth Anniversary With A Huge Infographic
I'd still be playing it if Epic hadn't trashed the Mac and Linux versions. (I've tried on my Switch Lite, but the analog stick just doesn't seem as accurate as the Xbox ones, so half the time I end up flipping sideways instead of straight foward.)
Re: Review: Burnout Paradise Remastered - Thrilling Open-World Racing Tempered By Blurry Visuals And A High Price
@Daniel36 It's free, but it's riddled with all the usual loot box and pay-to-win mobile game crap that shouldn't really have a place on consoles.
