Nintendo has shared an updated list of Europe's most-downloaded Switch eShop games, revealing which titles were the most popular during April 2021.
Last month's top game, Monster Hunter Rise, has to settle for second place this time around as Mojang's ever-popular Minecraft grabs number one. Interestingly, New Pokémon Snap has managed to enter the chart in third place despite only being on sale for a single day in April after launching on the 30th.
You can check out the full list below. It's based on the number of Nintendo eShop downloads (so no physical sales) in European territories during the whole month:

Anyone here played Stick Fight? I'm interested in hearing opinions. Looks like it could be really fun, but also like the controls might be aggravatingly sloppy.
I contributed to New Pokémon Snap, but that was using a North American account so it wouldn’t ha
@sketchturner It's fun, but straight forward. There aren't any additional modes, Scoreboards or incentives to keep the player coming back besides local and online free-for-all.
I bought it on day one and had a blast with it over that weekend, but haven't touched it since.
Why is Minecraft always on this list? Not that I am complaining as I have the game on switch myself
@anoyonmus Because its minecraft
@sketchturner I have it on pc, and well its a blast! It is currently my favorite multiplayer game, despite it being so simple. Anyone can easily grasp the controls, but the skill cap is very high. The game is also very glitchy, but not when you first boot it up. This means that the longer you play the more interesting things happen. While they aren't really intended, you can use certain glitches to your advantage. (E.g. going through the floor.) The items are really fun, and if you only use one or two at a time, it gets very interesting. You can also set it to show how many wins each player has at the bottom of the screen, making it a bit more competitive. It essentially feels like playing through one of Alan Becker's animations, which is really fun! Overall, I really recommend this game! 9/10!
@anoyonmus there is always someone, who is not inteoduced to Minecraft and will fall in love with it. Tell me, I have it on two PCs, Xbox One, Switch, Wii U and my phone.
Glad to see Republic Commando make it in! Despite it's performance issues it's a really solid game. I know it at least hit the number 13 spot over here in NA for a time, but I don't know how well it did overall for the month.
Any surprises in the top 15? What about Stick Fight: The Game?
Well, I've played one of those, at least.
I still remember Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Switch release date, April 28, 2017.
No wonder Nintendo is not in a hurry to release Mario Kart 9, Mario Odyssey 2 and others. If people continue to buy these older releases and remasters , it’ll take forever before we see the follow up sequels. The way the same games continue to sell, one would think that every Switch owner would already had all of these by now.
European sales with no FIFA game sitting on top? Impossible. Perhaps the archives are incomplete.
Does Nintendo not release sales from other regions? I only ever seem to see Europe and Japan. Maybe I need to look on a different site? I want world wide stats... breaking it down after is fun too, but I wanna start with the whole number. (I assume it’s just never available.)
I am surprise Republic commando made it to 11th place
