If you've not had the chance to try out the Nintendo published title Good Job! yet, soon you might be in luck.
Nintendo has announced the game will be offered to Switch Online subscribers in Japan and will be playable from 19th April to 25th April. These trials are typically offered in Japan first, so something will hopefully be offered here in the west at some stage.
During this period, there'll also be a discount on the game, so anyone who enjoys it can save some coin. If you've not tried out Good Job! yet, check out our review - we gave it nine out of ten stars and said it was a game that everyone should play.

Not interested with Free Trial.
I want the game in physical release.
When the games treated like that (digital only), it will be vanished in the future and only regret i will get.
I finally caved and bought this on sale last week along with The Stretchers and BoxBoy + BoxGirl as I lost hope of any of them getting a physical release (ideally as something of a "party game" compilation, though I would certainly double-dip if that were to happen).
Good Job is a fun little gem that would undoubtedly be a lot more fun with friends. Highly recommended if you loved the slice-of-life anarchy of Untitled Goose Game.
Loooks fun......
Mr......,
I would kill for more levels of this game.
Hopefully this comes to North America too, wanted to give this game a try, but never had the time, and besides North America didn’t get a free trial last month for some reason.
@Anti-Matter Only you would say that you would rather pay for a plastic box than play it for literally no extra charge 😂
I gotta finish this game.
@nessisonett
I would rather get charged with some $ for a game in physical with box, cover and manual inside rather than get free games but in digital form.
I am dinosaur, still attached with old style gaming.
@Anti-Matter At least you can TRY the game. You might not even like it...
@Anti-Matter
Better to have loved and lost than not loved at all.
i'm getting pretty tired of europe and japan getting all the free trials.
Bought the game last year, played two levels before deciding it was not for me 🤡
@Mince
When i want to play the games, i pay for them and i want them in physical release.
I'm thinking about long term satisfaction, not short term satisfaction (happy now regret tomorrow) that currently happened in modern gaming era.
I have some old games from PS1 era and they are already 20+ years in like new condition. Can't believe i could have a 20+ years old thing and still working like new.
@Anti-Matter ‘I am dinosaur...’ I always enjoy your comments here Anti-Matter, and that might be the best thing you’ve ever said. Never change please!
@Anti-Matter precisely, some games you just have to succumb as you know it's never going to happen but I've recently been trying to snap up as much physical content as possible- especially on 3DS as prices are soaring!
I do think it’s cheeky that Japan has been getting a lot more of these free game trials than Europe or North America has. The only good ones I remember for the West have been Mario Tennis, Arms and Dead Cells whereas I am sure Japan has had more (they even had Captain Toad) - seems a bit unfair if we are all paying approximately the same price.
@Anti-Matter “Old style gaming” is cups and dice made out of animal horn. In comparison, physical cartridge releases were a brief fad around the turn of the 20th century.
Good, they should have a demo for it too. I never understood why Nintendo published some smaller games like Good Job, Part Time UFO and The Stretchers but didn't bother promoting them whatsoever. They could've had Tetris 99 themes, Smash spirits too.
The games were barely even pushed on their social media even.
Looks fun. Really wanna try this
@Screen Same, It only took me and a friend like 7,5 hours to finish.
I bought this in the recent sale and have really enjoyed playing it with my eight year old. There doesn't seem to be a wrong way or a right way to solve any of the puzzles, so we just have an enormous amount of fun messing around.
I don't think I've seen it go on sale in North America; I've been waiting for it to.
It looks Bleh.
Fingers crossed nso overhaul happens this month. Be Good if you got to keep the game.
That's great, I'm glad there was the article about it or I probably wouldn't have realized.
