Re: Video: Comparing Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Clone Genshin Impact To The Original

@Xylnox I can understand what you mean, but then again if companies want to make an handheld with attachable Controllers then theres not much design choice, it has to be a small tablet screen with two attachable Controllers on either side. I won't be buying the UFO as I'm happy with my switch and ps4 but I'm glad theres now different ways to play pc games instead of just keyboard and mouse.

Nintendo must of known this would happen, they have have started a new trend in gaming and I think the UFO won't be the last

Re: Video: Comparing Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Clone Genshin Impact To The Original

@Xylnox wasn't the original xbox a rip off of the ps2? Psp a rip off of the gameboy? Kinsect a rip off of the PlayStation eye toy and wii together? Is evry tv company ripping off the first manufacturer of a TV?

this could go on for ever but its just innovation and companies see that innovation and use it to inspire there own work? The UFO is a proper piece of kit that will have over a 1000 games at launch and hundreds of AAA games as well, a Real rip off is those Chinese devices that just play retro games

Re: Feature: Nintendo Life's Switch Game Of The Year 2019

@StephenYap3 To me it's the best Atelier I've played so far, so much to do and much quicker battles so feels less grindy, the new graphics are great too, this time round there are several gathering tools which depending on which tool you use on certain gathering spots changes what item you get, with added farming elements and fishing and base building, plus there's a mini area creating tool which you pick an item you have and a map will be created which all contain different enemies and items to gather depending on what item you chose, so yeah lots to do in this one

@StephenYap3 unfortunately atelier lulua was never going to make this list due to the kind of game it is and its niche, but I agree it is easily the best Atelier game I've ever played and top 3 rpg I've played this year

Edit: sorry scrap that I wasn't thinking properly I was thinking about atelier ryza lol

Re: Guide: Pokémon Sword And Shield Gen 8 New Pokémon List - Full Galar Pokédex Including Returning Pokémon

Wow this article is just bait for people to moan about the game and whinge that pokemon have been cut, over 1100 pokemon that is just a crazy amount to catch, what do you want? 30+ in each route, 500 pokemon in the wild area? Lol

If your that upset then just don't buy the game it's your loss, as this to me is one of the best pokemon games I've played so far and a great first entry on the Nintendo switch

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Delivers Its Verdict On Pokémon Sword And Shield

@TYRANACLES gyms in pokemon games have always been easy because they are one type gyms so you can easily plan type match ups before battling them, do you expect a fire gym to easily beat a team of water types? No, of course you're going to breeze through gyms

I've breezed through every single gym in every single game, it's just basic knowledge of type match ups

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Delivers Its Verdict On Pokémon Sword And Shield

Most fun I've had playing a pokemon game in ages and I've played them all, let's be honest if all the pokemon were in the game then no one would be complaining and the fact the models are similar to the 3ds ones wouldn't of even been an issue but just because they decided over 1000 pokemon would be too much (which it is) people are picking at things just to bash this game

Re: Poll: Pokémon Sword And Shield Are Out Today, Which Version Are You Getting?

playstation_king

I really don't get why there's so many haters, the game is fun much better than Sun and moon, the wild area alone gives you hours upon hours to work through.

The fact that it's divided into many zones, each zone has different weather every day (real life) and which pokemon are in each zone vary depending on the weather, and there's 7-8 different weather types all bringing different pokemon.

Then there's the Raid battles which there are 1-2 in each zone which reset every day. Depending on how many gym badges you have changes the star rating of the raid battles increasing the difficulty and fighting against better pokemon, at the start you will be doing 1 star raids which are mostly first evolution pokemon ranging from level 15-19.

Also each raid battle rewards you with a one use TM called a TR, of usually a strong move. For example I just did a ghastly raid and got a Shadow Ball TR, so this gives people reason to farm raids every day.

Also depending on how many badges you have, there's some pokemon you can't catch in the wild area at first, at first you can't catch pokemon over level 20 until you have the first badge, then over 30 after the second badge etc

So there's really already a tonne to do just in the wild area that makes the games worth it alone

Re: There Are "No Plans" To Bring The Full Pokédex To Pokémon Sword And Shield, And Future Games Will Follow Suit

playstation_king

Am I the only one looking forward to this still, I dont really care about them cutting pokemon as it will make it easier to complete the national dex and easier for me to pick a team and concentrate on those 6, this is the first new pokemon game on teh switch so obviously they are playing around with graphics and mechanics and testing what the switch can handle, so expect future pokemon games to be better in terms of graphically, content and mechanics, but for now the 15th can't come quick enough

Re: PlayStation 4 Just Overtook Wii's Lifetime Sales

playstation_king

The switch needs more/better 3rd party support, the witcher 3, the outer worlds, vampyr, and elder scrolls etc are going to help people decide to get this game but it needs more... Borderlands 3, kingdom hearts, latest assassins creed, call of duty, a proper fifa, grand theft auto, red dead redemption, these are the big hitter 3rd party games which would help the switch push those sales through the roof, but at the moment it's relying too much on first party games which isn't a big problem as they are all great and pokemon will help a LOT but I do think it's missing that support for 3rd party devs

Re: PlayStation 4 Just Overtook Wii's Lifetime Sales

playstation_king

@Thundertron55 as good as the switch is I can't see it overtaking the ps4 sales, don't forget the ps4 is also an entertainment system so has multiple reasons to be in peoples homes whikst the switch is purely a gaming device. It's nearly been 3 years since the switch and its sales are around 30-40 million
