@Majer hope youre being sarcastic lol had this conversation with my partner the other day how people assume Mario is for kids yet most Mario games these days are quite challenging, using the new paper mario and the Mario rabbids games as an example they were too hard for my little brothers and even gave me a challenge and the puzzle battle mechanic was ridiculous for a kid to understand.

So yeah they might have simple graphics but definitely not for children

Lol £200 to play Co op? You can buy a new switch lite for that money, what are they thinking? And to top it off you don't get a game cartridge. And to add injury to insult they charge £50 for 3 old (some really old) ports?
Fingers crossed they have a direct soon and announce zome new games for the holiday season, I'm hoping i can get sunshine singularly on the store aswell

I'm totally against ports especially seeing as so far that's all nintendo have planned for this holiday season which I personally think is lazy, but saying that I am looking forward to trying sunshine for the first time and eventually will get this as I can play with my partner Co op

@AJWolfTill I don't mind some fan service, especially seeing as most anime games on ps4/switch contain it. Just don't like it when animes or games are all fan service no stop like senran kagura or monster monsume.

@MikeW although I get to play sunshine for the first time, I agree with you that this is minimum effort/time and minimum cost.
I hope to god they have some other games planned for this holiday season other Than HD ports

@Daniel36 yeah can't think of many that don't include some kind of fan service, attack on titan is one, maybe Psycho pass and goblin slayer

Also I think this is a cgi anime and not drawn like traditional animes are to begin with

@TrevorMcD games like this usually have a cheap starter bundle which has enough currency for a couple gacha draws

The ps4 version it is then, wonder why the longer wait for the switch? It's not like YS games are graphically challenging. Maybe they are waiting for the rumoured "switch pro" to make the switch version the same as the ps4 version in terms of graphics

@TrevorMcD I did notice some lag here and there but no enough to take away from my enjoyment of the game, something that they might of fixed as that's the point of a beta to get feedback and improve the game.

Not much of a sale on terms of prices, can still find these cheaper in retail

Played the Beta on my ps4 and it's beautiful and so far has the best graphics from any "anime" rpg I've seen do far, also the combat is more hack and slash and combo designed that zeldas.
Only draw back is that it's a gacha and as we all know these Japanese/Chinese gacha games cost around £50 just for a decent chance of getting a few rare characters.
Just hope that what they give you to start with is enough to enjoy and complete the game

Towards the end I just paid the toads to sort the puzzle mechanic for the battle for me 😂
Tbh without earning xp or gaining items the battles were a bit pointless but the exploration and areas made it worth playing

Wow, shocking next couple of months, only one il be getting is shin megami and maybe moero crystal

Hopefully they are working on monster hunter world 2 for the ps5, wouldn't mind a monster hunter stories 2 on the switch though

So it's the "new" 3ds all over again? where only one game got made exclusive for that hardware.

Think about it will they make a load of 1st party exclusives for this "upgraded" switch and leave the 61 million normal switch owners hanging?

This would be a good idea for all those graphically challenging third party games to run on the switch but 1st party games need to run on both

@sandman89 too expensive to be around Christmas aswell I have quite a large family including my partners aswell so a £400-£500 console plus 2 £50 games and a second £50 controller just isn't affordable for me during November/December

Plus at the moment there's no launch games that warrant me buying one straight away, watch dogs and cyberpunk I can get on the ps4

What about the AAA and AA games info graph? We need news now give us something to look forward to this holiday season especially as I'm now not getting a ps5 at launch

It's nice that they are bringing splatfest back but please atleast make some new ones intsead of re using old splatfest themes. It's just lazy from a team thatd added nothing in over a year

@RareFan these ports were all planned before this pandemic so they can't use that as an excuse. They literally don't have enough games that are far in development for them to bring out yet, I expect next year to be better than this year by a mile and 2022 will have a new pokemon and BOTW2

If this true this means breath of the wild 2 is an early 2022 game, and this game is to keep the zelda fans happy in the mean time, which is ok as I quite enjoyed skyward sword but won't feel the same without my shiny gold wii remote

They need to announce some good games for the holiday season to keep people away from the next gen consoles and even maybe a price cut would make them come out on top this holiday season

My main account will be on playstation as I have a level 120 rocket pass and over 300 hours game time but I will be nice to carry on playing on my switch when the misses wants the tv

Hmm only played the last 4 since the wii, so have to say the origami King but little bit dissapointed by the combat in this one

If this had similar gameplay to the latest sword art then I definitely would of picked it up, id reccomend watching the anime than buying this game

@C-Olimar ah I see what you mean. Come to think of it a large amount of wii owners just had it for fitness games and just dance, where the switch is just pure gaming

Anyone know how xenoblade chronicles remastered sold compared to the original on the wii? Considering the wii had a bigger user base

@GrailUK pretty sure the wii user base was larger than the switches when xenoblade chronicles first launched

@TheFullAndy true you do haave a point about the wii u, switch has nearly 50 million more users than the wii u had. But they should still release some new games for those who have already played the wii u ports

Well it has been a quiet 3 months from the big third parties but Glad to finally see Nintendo dominate the charts and tbh they have done the last 4 months, dont expect this to last when the next gen consoles release though unless Nintendo release some heavy hitters this holiday season and not remasters/ports
