Would have been way better if it had tied more into mario wonder. Or at the very least had a picture of mario or the logo in the from and on the controllers.
Having both controllers red seems lazy too, could have had one red (Left one) and the other one blue. Or even both red, with a silhouette of mario in the bottom half and the grips / controller grip blue.
Im glad i didnt wait to see what they did before i got the oled. I ended up getting the zelda one. Way more thought out and fancy!

I think it will be a stupid idea not to be backwards compatible. Especially in the first year when there isn’t as many games coming out. Speaking for myself, I’m more likely to get it if it is back compatible, if not I’d probably give it a year or two.

I think asylum will run fine, city may do but may chug a bit.
I think the delay will be due to knight, it’s a huge game and I would be surprised to see it run on the switch. Not saying it won’t be possible, but I’m yet to be convinced.
There’s also no way that all three games will be on the cartridge. Even when they did the trilogy on ps4 the 3rd game was a download code.

Little do Microsoft realise that Nintendo has survived a lot of competition.

Philips
Coleco
Pc engine

And I’m sure a few others, have all left the console market at some point. Could easily happen to Microsoft.

Hope this comes out digitally. I’m not giving THAT company money.

If Nintendo were in a state that’s sega was during the Dreamcast days, then I can understand why they could think they could buy it. But the switch has outsold everything else, Nintendo regularly tops the most sold games (even beating the multi plat games)
They won’t get their grubby hands on it.
If they want to buy a game company, why don’t they buy Atari (or what’s left of it). Or just you know, be happy with all the many they actually have. Maybe actually do something with rare.

Looks like a good game. I’m glad it’s getting a wider release then just on the evercade.

If people want to complain and moan about frame rates, why don’t you go over and play Xbox and ps5 games. 9 times out of 10 Nintendo do an excellent job with releasing games that are actually finished and are playable. Unlike games like cyberpunk, fallout 76, anthem etc.

No MP4 or Switch 2 so of course tons of people will moan.
For me I thought it was pretty good!
A lot more games I’m interested in there than what there is on Xbox and PlayStation.
Great to see a remaster of Paper Mario, and I’m looking forward to Mario vs DK too.

@Classic603 that would be great to have some more non Mario characters in. Maybe star fox characters, Kirby, hell even samus and captain falcon?

And would love a return to double dash, even if it’s an extra mode.

I can’t help but think that with tour ending and no more dlc for mk8. Plus these massive building up rumours of switch 2, and no new 3d Mario for a while.
Could we be on the verge of a switch 2 announcement, with Mario kart 9 and Mario odyssey 2 as release games?

Pretty new to zelda, never really played them before but interested in TOTK

I hope it’s someone we’ve never really heard of. Someone that could do the voice and do the characters justice instead of just some big name.

@Tipehtfomottob I hope they have an option for a timer to make it more hard,so you can decide whether you want one or not.

With the badges I wonder (pardon the pun) if there will be some badges that make the game harder. Such as one hit death, shorter time to finish a level, less power ups, etc.

@SpaceboyScreams too true, the follow up to guerilla was a major disappointment and then other than the remaster of guerilla that was it. Looking back at it it’s remarkable that they managed to get such destructible environments working on the 360 and ps3.

So Zelda got the amazing looking tears of the kingdom oled. And Mario gets…..this.

Even mario games that at the time didnt get stellar reviews, like mario sunshine, end up being known as overlooked classics.

For me Sonic games have been hit and miss. A few I've never even finished because I've not wanted to. I like the 2d sonic games the best but even then, I'm not too sure about the new one. Ill wait for the reviews.
Whereas for me and mario. I have played them. All of them (the 20 odd main ones that is) and i can safely say that I've liked or loved every single one. So for me its a no brainer.
And yes call me a mario fan boy if you like.

Currently half price on Xbox series for £19.99 now so thinking about getting this.
I did play this a few months after release on PlayStation and got bored, but by the looks of it a hell of a lot has been added since then.

@mariomaster96 but they haven’t done that, even when they released them digitally they were in the region of £7 each. When they released the Mario allstars collection, which was a port of the snes title onto the wii, they had a load of backlash for that. But even then it was £35 and that was 4 games. Not 1. So how is this RDR for £50 worth it then? I guess for some people it may be worth it. Just really I think anyone would be better off waiting till it’ll be in a sale in like 4-5 months for £25 -£30 which would deffo be more worth it. (Even though it’s cheaper on Xbox )

Metroid Prime REMASTERED released for £34.99.
Pikmin 1 AND 2 released for £39.99.
Mario 3d Allstars released for £39.99
Bioshock Trilogy (and all dlc) released for £39.99
Borderlands Legendary Collection (3 Games, all Dlc and multiplayer) released for £39.99

So tell me again why a 13 year old game that is a port without the online multiplayer is worth £50. Esp when you compare it with the port of the Borderlands trilogy.
