Re: Overwatch Producer Discusses The Possibility Of Bringing The Game To Switch

nintendork64

@Andrew_R_2000 Not to make this article all about the politics, but there's absolutely nothing wrong at all with being a conservative.

The problem has always been the far right and the far left. If you go far one way or the other, you end up being a cancer on society. Look at California's government for how crazy the far left can get, or look at the white supremacists for how crazy the far right can get.

We should all just calm down and play some freakin' Overwatch on Switch.

Re: Nintendo Plans To Go Big With Super Smash Bros. For Switch At E3 This Year

I miss Nintendo doing a real press conference. For me, part of the fun was listening to the audience reaction. These videos don't have the same "hyped up wow" factor that the press conferences had. Even the Wii U got some good reception at its E3 presentation (which, coincidentally, might carry the blame for why they don't do news conferences anymore).

Re: Official Nintendo Magazine Confirms Pokémon On Switch Will Be 'Generation Eight'

@TheHumbleFellow Technically, the sky only appears to be blue because air scatters blue sunlight more than it scatters red.

Water IS wet, until it dries.

People only poop after eating if there's nothing wrong with them.

In all seriousness, though, I'm not a fan of Pokémon (dodges things being thrown at him) but I really wouldn't mind a Breath of the Wild - esk Pokémon where you have to explore in a beautiful vast world to find rare Pokémon and items.

Animal Crossing
Phantasy Star Online (it's about time, SEGA, come on)
Metroid Prime 4
Advance Wars Switch
Final Fantasy for Switch
3D Castlevania (I'm probably in the minority here but I've always thought it would be awesome)
Evolution Worlds for Switch
Pokémon (I don't like it, but it would sell Switch consoles which means more games)
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for Switch (my favorite Sonic game)
Mario Party 11 (Come on, Nintendo, it's about party time)

Mentions of Virtual Console (or whatever they're going to call it)

Re: Hands On: The Future Of Gaming Is Cardboard, Thanks To Nintendo Labo

nintendork64

@ShadJV Nintendo is a large company. They have quite a few resources, especially now. The more they expand into other venues and the more Switches they can sell, the more resources they'll have available.

There's nothing wrong with expanding the audience. First Labo. Hopefully later on, they'll do something to hook in the older folk that still refuse to let go of Wii.

And of course, they'll have something for the hard-core gamer, like Super Mario Odyssey, Skyrim, and DOOM have attested to.

It's essentially Wii done the right way. Most people only bought Wii for Wii Sports. With the Switch, having Labo and additional lines selling hardware and software will make Switch overall the more successful console.

Re: Soapbox: Is Super Mario Odyssey the Best Mario Game Ever?

nintendork64

Super Mario Sunshine for the GameCube is my favorite, followed closely by Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo and then by Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64.

It's the nostalgia that grips me, and I would be happy to see all three of these make it to the Switch at some point, as they'd all be a day one purchase.

Re: Nintendo Direct Mini Is Happening Right Now

nintendork64

There wasn't anything "mini" about this Direct IMO.

Dark Souls is awesome. Hyrule Warriors and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze were games I never got to enjoy on Wii U.

And yes, for the first time ever I'm looking forward to Mario Tennis. I keep hoping Wii Sports will be released at some point. Good memories, good times to be had there.
