@Joeynator3000 Seeing as how "amazing" Pokémon Go is compared to proper Pokémon, I would be running in the opposite direction — crying, cussing, sweating, and cursing Nintendo's name all the while.
@Findonovan95 It's an account level ban, not a system ban. So yes, it would ban all of the devices using that account, which is well within the EULA that people never seem to read.
Not defending Nintendo here. I myself am currently using a hacked Wii with the Homebrew Channel on it, but I do understand Nintendo's reasoning.
@Andrew_R_2000 Not to make this article all about the politics, but there's absolutely nothing wrong at all with being a conservative.
The problem has always been the far right and the far left. If you go far one way or the other, you end up being a cancer on society. Look at California's government for how crazy the far left can get, or look at the white supremacists for how crazy the far right can get.
We should all just calm down and play some freakin' Overwatch on Switch.
@Kienda "Rational minded liberals and lefties" These things exist??
In all seriousness, I'd love to see Overwatch on Switch. Not because I want it, but I know a lot of people who would, and that makes for more Switch sales and therefore more games.
I remember this. It was one of the first reviews I had to disagree with on Nintendo Life. They gave it a 4/10 but it would have to be a 7/10 at worst IMO. Most reviewers at the time seemed to agree.
I miss Nintendo doing a real press conference. For me, part of the fun was listening to the audience reaction. These videos don't have the same "hyped up wow" factor that the press conferences had. Even the Wii U got some good reception at its E3 presentation (which, coincidentally, might carry the blame for why they don't do news conferences anymore).
Switch Boy? I had a few Game Boy cases laying around, so may make use of them when I go on business trips. And when I get more physical games. I have 32 games, and all but one (Breath of the Wild) are digital.
@TheHumbleFellow Technically, the sky only appears to be blue because air scatters blue sunlight more than it scatters red.
Water IS wet, until it dries.
People only poop after eating if there's nothing wrong with them.
In all seriousness, though, I'm not a fan of Pokémon (dodges things being thrown at him) but I really wouldn't mind a Breath of the Wild - esk Pokémon where you have to explore in a beautiful vast world to find rare Pokémon and items.
Animal Crossing Phantasy Star Online (it's about time, SEGA, come on) Metroid Prime 4 Advance Wars Switch Final Fantasy for Switch 3D Castlevania (I'm probably in the minority here but I've always thought it would be awesome) Evolution Worlds for Switch Pokémon (I don't like it, but it would sell Switch consoles which means more games) Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for Switch (my favorite Sonic game) Mario Party 11 (Come on, Nintendo, it's about party time)
Mentions of Virtual Console (or whatever they're going to call it) Update on the online service
Tennis would be nice, since there's not a Wii Sports equivalent on Switch as of yet.
Wii Sports should be revamped on Switch as Mii Sports, since your Miis would still be a big part of it and it doesn't make sense to keep the Wii name attached to it.
@ShadJV Nintendo is a large company. They have quite a few resources, especially now. The more they expand into other venues and the more Switches they can sell, the more resources they'll have available.
There's nothing wrong with expanding the audience. First Labo. Hopefully later on, they'll do something to hook in the older folk that still refuse to let go of Wii.
And of course, they'll have something for the hard-core gamer, like Super Mario Odyssey, Skyrim, and DOOM have attested to.
It's essentially Wii done the right way. Most people only bought Wii for Wii Sports. With the Switch, having Labo and additional lines selling hardware and software will make Switch overall the more successful console.
Super Mario Sunshine for the GameCube is my favorite, followed closely by Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo and then by Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64.
It's the nostalgia that grips me, and I would be happy to see all three of these make it to the Switch at some point, as they'd all be a day one purchase.
There wasn't anything "mini" about this Direct IMO.
Dark Souls is awesome. Hyrule Warriors and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze were games I never got to enjoy on Wii U.
And yes, for the first time ever I'm looking forward to Mario Tennis. I keep hoping Wii Sports will be released at some point. Good memories, good times to be had there.

@AlexOlney 59.999998 fps actually. So horrible I don't know if I'll be able to cope. My life is over.

The fact that you've used a tagline from Spaceballs made me want to comment on this post with ludicrous speed.

Re: There's Trouble In Paradise As Nintendo Adds Loot Boxes To Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
@-Green- Nah, it's gotta be Resetti. It's no coincidence he hasn't shown up in Pocket Camp yet.
Either that or he's collaborating with Tom Nook to bring everything down. It's a conspiracy!!

Re: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze On Switch Loads Twice As Fast As On Wii U
@gaga64 I would count Paper Mario Color Splash and Mario Party 10 as high-profile.
Speaking of which, when is Mario Party 11 coming out for Switch?! The local multiplayer is a no-brainer for this. Come on, Nintendo.

Re: Nintendo Direct Mini Is Happening Right Now
There wasn't anything "mini" about this Direct IMO.

Nintendo just doesn't care if I never get bored again, do they?
Re: It Appears That Nintendo Has Unfinished Business With The 1080° Snowboarding Series
Yes! An HD original game for the Switch would be best, and then release HD remakes of 1080 Snowboarding and 1080 Avalanche to cap it all off.
I'm also hoping for new entries in PilotWings and Wave Race.
Re: It Appears That Nintendo Has Unfinished Business With The 1080° Snowboarding Series
Yes
