D3 Publisher is bringing five new titles to the Switch eShop in both Japan and the west, it has been confirmed.
The first is Tennis, which will be available in Japan on January 25th and will cost 800 Yen. It showcases 8 characters and 6 courts. The game supports the Pro Controller, but you can also swing the Joy-Con or touch the screen.
Escape Trick: 35 Fateful Enigmas sounds a bit like the Zero Escape series, and appears to comprise of two mysteries to solve: “The Father Who Vanished” & “Waking Up Imprisoned.”
Billiard is a 3D pool billiards game that "uses the Joy-Con’s brand new capabilities to make it feel like you’re holding a real cue". 9 Ball, 8 Ball, Rotation, and Basic Game are the modes included, and you'll be able to complete head to head with a friend on a single Nintendo Switch console.
Finally, we have The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya and The Men of Yoshiwara: Ohgiya, two romance titles aimed at female gamers.
All of the above games will be released in the west, it has been confirmed.

Tennis is on the PAL eShop, it's got a release date on 25th January.
I dunno, I don't see that Tennis game being able to compete with something like Mario Tennis.
I'm really only interested in Billiard, simply because the Switch doesn't already have a billiards game yet. Maybe Escape Trick, too, but I'd have to see footage first.
That Tennis game actually looks decent, and is clearly just a fraction of the price of Mario Aces. It'll fill a hole for those who don't have sixty or so gold coins to spare. (I'll be holding out for Aces, though.)
If only the guys who did Golf Story would take on tennis next!
Down for billiards, and might grab tennis too.
D3 ?!
Please bring K-1 World GP or Cartoonish Kickboxing games for Switch !
The men games for me
Give me my EDF D3 you know you got the stuff.
Talking of Zero Escape, I would love that trilogy on Switch.
Nintendo needs to make a Wii Sports Tennis for Switch, it's still the best motion control Tennis game.
That's quite a few titles.
Hopefully an Earth Defense Force game by Sandlot is next on their list.
Mmm, billiards makes me think that I’d love a deep Snooker game. And a cardboard cue as well .
can't say any of those sound attractive to me at all
You know what would be good D3 titles to port over to the Switch. EDF 2017, EDF 2, and EDF 2025.
Released at the right price, and using the Vita and PS4 versions of the games, would give Switch owners access to three mindless, and endlessly, fun, 4 player co-op games.
Plus the portable nature fits the games perfectly, just as with Monster Hunter and PSO.
@Nincompoop The best motion controlled tennis game is Grandslam Tennis on Wii by EA. Wii Sports as fun as it was had very little skill involved and aiming didn't even come into it. Grandslam Tennis used Motion Plus brilliantly and you had full control over your player and aiming your shots. Plus the single player career was great and it had online. Loved that game.
Not gonna lie, I would be interested in that tennis game, despite it's .. cheap presentation, IF we hadn't just had an announcement for MT Aces. Not sure, if that game will turn out better than Ultra on the WiiU, but for now, I'll try to stay cautiously optimistic.
Tennis would be nice, since there's not a Wii Sports equivalent on Switch as of yet.
Wii Sports should be revamped on Switch as Mii Sports, since your Miis would still be a big part of it and it doesn't make sense to keep the Wii name attached to it.
Only the Escape Trick one sounds remotely appealing to me.
@Richnj While they're at it, they can get Treasure to port Bangai-O Spirits to Switch too.
@Captain_Gonru Make that 2 sales. Loved that game,no other golf game has come even close.
@Krull That's a great idea, I'd love to see a follow up to Golf Story with another sport. Tennis would be a good one, but also maybe pool or football.
Very interested to hear more on Escape Trick, hoping against hope it's a crossover of Zero Escape and Ghost Trick (I can dream) Billiards and Tennis are on the maybe pile pending final prices and reviews.
@Captain_Gonru Why thank you! Been rocking this for almost a decade over many sites now. Always nice to see another fan.
@Pigeon I'm perfectly willing to pay full price for the polish that Nintendo's game will inevitably have, but different strokes for different folks.
