Independent developer Binx Interactive, along with Croteam Incubator and Devolver Digital, has announced that its upcoming shoot ‘em up game I Hate Running Backwards will arrive on Switch in "late summer", sometime after the 22nd May release on other platforms.

The game aims to be a never-ending adrenaline rush, putting the emphasis on destruction and fighting never ending waves of enemies while time traveling through procedurally generated, fully destructible worlds. You'll be picking your character and blasting away your enemies with a high-powered arsenal of shotguns, lasers, rocket launchers, singularity cannons and more.

Along the way, you can get stronger and stronger by earning perks, allowing you to take on the most challenging of bosses with a cast of various characters including Croteam’s Serious Sam, Shadow Warrior's Lo Wang, Enter the Gungeon’s Bullet Kin, Hotline Miami’s Richard, and Nuclear Throne’s Crystal. You can go it alone or team-up with a buddy via local cooperative play, with all of these heroes available at your disposal.

I Hate Running Backwards is set to launch at $14.99/ £10.99 / €14.99 and, as mentioned above, the game is currently planned to hit the Switch eShop in "late summer".
