According to NWR’s Neal Ronaghan on Bluesky yesterday: ”Anyway, Square Enix didn't download FFTactics ROMs for the new release (they looked up old FAQs/guides! Which is neat and charming!)”
Another view from Nintendolife (according to 'Mailbox: The Death Of GameCube, Mario Party Matchmaking, Tariffs - Nintendo Life Letters', 2024-11-24): "Unfortunately, I just can't relate to this "thoroughly enjoying Super Mario Party Jamboree" phenomenon. I don't get it, and it's become a joke around NL Towers. Watching people I love and respect inducted into a patently wicked cult — one where playing 10 minutes of minigames in between 80 minutes of waiting and reading and inane, endorsed-by-the-man Fun™ is apparently a raucous time — leaves me totally confused. Each to their own, but it's like someone's slipping crazy pills in my coffee. I was promised a party, not... whatever this is! - Ed."
@Sephazon Thanks for taking the time to fill in some information. Hope it all works out as well as possible under the circumstances. Really looking forward to trying this game!
Really enjoyed this. Lovely art style and simple, but effective storytelling. I hope they manage to fix a couple of bugs and the performance stutters before the physical release.

Re: Every Nintendo Switch 2 Game-Key Card Release
Slightly less rubbish than code-in-a-box. Consider yourself damned with faint praise game-key card.

Re: The Game Awards 2024: Date, Time - How And When To Watch
Yep, feels like 90% glitz and glamour, 10% games and gongs.
I'll pass thanks.

Re: Review: Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU (Switch) - An Emotional Metroidvania That Plays It Too Safe
Was really enjoying this 'til a long chase sequence which sends you all the way back to the beginning if you make a mistake. Not so fun anymore.
Re: Round Up: The Previews Are In For The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom
I'm really looking forward to this new take on the Zelda formula. It is surely unlikely to please everyone though...
Re: Review: Ace Attorney Investigations Collection (Switch) - File This With The Series' Finest
The cases being "a bit short" might be a sweet spot for me. I find that the cases in the other games are on the overlong side.
Re: Minit Fun Racer
It's fun and proceeds go to charity. What's not to like!
Re: Talking Point: Would $499 Be Too Much For 'Switch 2'?
@IceClimbersMain I don't think there is anything to suggest that it will "rival the Steam Deck's power"? Whether it needs to is another question...

Re: 'Master Key' Is An Intriguing Monochrome Take On Classic Zelda Gameplay
The advantage of being rubbish is that "Clocking in at anywhere between five to ten hours" will most likely be 40 hours of play time for me.
Re: Review: Mega Man V (3DS eShop / GB)
"The difficulty might be a tad low,"
Good. Might give this a try!
Re: Poll: Will You Be Getting The Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition - Deluxe Set?

Beat Mr. Dorf at around 350 hours. Still plenty to do!
Re: Gift
Would love a review or mini-review of Gift.
Haven't found any yet, but I guess the short, generic name is not helping findability.
Re: Mini Review: Arise: A Simple Story (Switch) - An Audiovisual Treat With Emotive, Elegant Storytelling

Re: Review: Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Switch) - An Easygoing, Kid-Friendly Remake That's Just Fine
Great for children and great to play with children. For me, that makes it excellent, not "mid" as some seem to think. But each to their own!

Re: Fan-Made 'Link's Awakening DX HD' Port Taken Down By Nintendo
Would a fan-made version of Nintendolife get taken down?
Re: PC Port Of Zelda: Link's Awakening Offers HD Visuals And 120fps Scrolling
Says "unofficial PC port" in the text. Should be the same in the article title instead of just "PC port". Misleading otherwise.
Re: Exclusive: A Boy And His Blob: Retro Collection Bounces Onto Switch Soon
Tried A Boy and his Blob on Switch and found the controls frustratingly finicky. Or maybe I just need to get good…
