This is so vexing. I'm nailing this boss again and again, but the parry cutscene NEVER triggers. I reliably get through phase one of the fight with full health and can blow all of its legs off with storm missiles. But even after a successful parry, the cutscene isn't triggering. I keep trying to spineshark him after the bullet hell sequence and just can't land it. This boss fight seriously needs to be patched. I feel like I'm playing well but the boss just isn't going down.

If Luigi visited Singapore, he would be sent to the gallows for possession of mushrooms.

That's a Day One purchase for me.

Reminds me, I need to finish S2's DLC.

I can't seem to get my Zelda-crazy age 30+ friends who grew up with N64s into Splatoon. They just seem to overlook it for some reason. But it's one of Nintendo's best IPs, hands down.

My top three are Metroid Dread, Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury, Monster Hunter Rise. Haven't played SMTV but I have a great feeling about it. Honorable mentions are WarioWare: Get It Together, Doki Doki Literature Club, Mario Party Superstars, and Loop Hero.

I was on the fence about this as another stand-alone release, but indeed, it's worth picking up as a DLC.

Earning themes keeps me playing and enjoying Tetris 99. Such a brilliant game and concept.

We need Fusion and Zero Mission on the Switch ASAP.

I love collecting Tetris 99 themes, always a great reason to boot up the game and play a few rounds.

Does the continued conspicuous absence of EarthBound suggest that Nintendo is working on a remaster/remake or some such and doesn't want to make the SNES version available on the online service?

You guys forgot Luigi Bros, unlockable after beating Super Mario 3D World.

Looks spectacular, so glad this is being given pride of place on Switch. Speaking for myself, this is one I'll play with Japanese audio and English subs. It would just be more immersive given the setting of the story.

Still grabbing it, but would do so with more haste if there were a confirmed processing power upgrade. I'm also not crazy about the white color scheme and would prefer the standard black one.

It would be cooler to have playable board games or mini-games inside ACNH to play online with friends. Nobody's coming over for in-person Monopoly any time soon.

@Silly_G That's a good point. Hopefully, they'll follow through with a physical release once the game is fully complete, and I don't see why they wouldn't.

I long for a copy of Doom Eternal on my shelf. Really hoping that happens after the next DLC.

ACNH definitely needs additional content to enliven the multiplayer experience. There are many features from past entries that can be brought back. I'm clamoring for mini-games and the return of The Roost. Cmon Nintendo, make it happen.

Almost all of these games look like variations of existing titles we've all played. That said, Trash Sailors could be fun, and Death Trash has a cool atmosphere and art style. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Given how well the MK8 has sold, it's frankly surprising that more isn't done to keep things fresh for players on console.

I would totally buy Doom Eternal + DLC on a physical cartridge. I hope such a package comes out eventually. Making an 18GB+ game digital only just doesn't make the grade.

Clubhouse Games is superb. I recently snapped it up when the digital version went on sale and my expectations were exceeded. It's brimming with content and the games are just beautifully presented. An essential, for sure.

This continues my consistent streak of picking the losing side at Spatfests.

I dig this game's aesthetic but was absolutely terrible at it when I played on it PS4. The controls are cumbersome and could be made to be more intuitive. Or maybe I just suck.

@floxi I'm up on the technical side of things, I merely meant that its desirability on the Switch is a no-brainer.

Nier Automata/Replicant are no brainer ports we need.

I snapped this up right after the Direct Mini and am glad I did so.
