Konami has just released a new teaser trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, revealing that the game will feature no fewer than 10,000 cards to play with when it launches on Switch and other platforms.
We haven't been treated to a complete list of those 10,000 cards unfortunately (although that's probably for the best or we'd be here all week reading through them all), but we do know a small handful that'll be appearing. Iconic cards like Dark Magician, Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the mighty Exodia the Forbidden One can all be seen in the new footage, which will no doubt please series veterans.
If you've missed it previously, it's already been announced that the game will feature the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG/OCG’s official Master Rules, aiming to offer "an exciting new, free-to-play way of enjoying intense, beautifully presented Duels" on the console of your choice.
It's all looking very promising indeed, that's for sure, and we'll be keeping an eye out for any news on an official release date as time goes on.
Looking forward to this one? It's time to duel in the comments below.

Dang, i really hope it's just about the card game like the old Championship Series on the DS. I loved just dueling, collecting cards and doing those challenges/riddles.
10k cards at launch? Does that mean you can build any deck you want at the start of the game or do you have to unlock the cards first?
So basically all or almost all of them.
But most likely free to play and most likely needing to unlock cards or booster pack openings.
@moodycat my thoughts exactly
Something about Yu-Gi-Oh battle mechanics I find really unintuitive. Have put dozens of hours into the current tittle however and it was all great fun. My Dark Magician deck can get so combo heavy the game crashes sometimes.😅
Ah for a second I thought it was the mummy guy from Darkstalkers in the thumbnail and I got excited. Oh well.
Oh cool 10,000 cards huh? Good to know that the hero archetype will be in the game and nothing else
I've never played these games, but this one looks fun and something perfect on Switch. Having played Pokemon TCG and Magic in the past, and enjoyed Hearthstone, would this be a possibly good plunge into Yu-Gi-Oh?
....You know what game I miss? Duelist of the Roses...
I don't know why, but I enjoyed it, it was basically a Yugioh board game. Also the battle animations were neat back then. xD
10k? You wouldn't spend that amount of time watching paint dry?
Oh no, yu-gi-oh video games are a real time sinker for me....
@moodycat Yeah I'm very dissapointed but not surprised. Konami really sucks.
I might give this a spin. I wish Magic The Gathering would get its act together and put a game on consoles.
@GoodGoshJosh the duels are more complicated and the cards have a lot of tiny text and reading you have to do compared to the Pokémon TCG. The fact that you can build a deck from original cards helps to keep the game simpler. I would stick with those if you arw trying this game out.
@mantarobuster300 pay to win, you mean?
Summons not as epic as previous games
Oh, I was hoping it was another sp game. Not interested in f2p stuff.
I hope free to play does not means internet only game that require you to pay to get more cards. . Thats an awful idea for trading card games.
@Hinade it is F2P.
@GoodGoshJosh maybe. Hopefully it runs well because I am looking forward to it
@TyroKith not sure but there is like some single player mode in the game too
