Mario Kart Tour continues to tick along with frequent events and updates, now kicking off its Wedding Tour season - it's live now and runs for the next two weeks.
N64 Royal Raceway is playable, which is unsurprisingly the headline of the trailer above. There are also some neat outfits that bring Super Mario Odyssey to mind, and the suitably silly Grand Badwagon (we're assuming that's not a typo? - ed).

I never got into Kart Tour, is it enjoyable?
Peach was so rude in the manner she turned down Mario's proposal in Odyssey. She could've at least let him down gently after all he does for her! He should've asked Pauline instead.

Man... if only this content was in a real Mario Kart game... I know, that Mario Kart Tour is a very successful game and was an excellent business move from Nintendo's side... but still, I'm an old school gamer and want to play old school games and I wish a real Mario Kart would have characters I like to play as, or cool looking vehicles and costumes for the characters.
Not really my cup of tea after dabbling in it.

Absolutely false.
Given how well the MK8 has sold, it's frankly surprising that more isn't done to keep things fresh for players on console.
Really is surprising how much they've added to this over the years while basically ignoring MK8D. Wish all of this had been added over time to the switch version, imagine the sales numbers it could reach with this level of support!

@Prizm honestly got a bit excited when I first saw it after mario kart got an update not long ago I thought we might've got some new dlc
The mobile team got more passion than the console department...sadly. Give us a Mario Kart 9 and we might forgive.
