We hear a lot about Japanese > English localization, but there's so much to say about what's out there, this is so exciting.

As a french speaker, I don't have any problem with the "vous" + "genre"/like, as it reminds me of the way a teenager talks to his/her teacher. With the formal "vous" that you're used to, but still talking your heart and not really realizing that you're maybe a bit too familiar.
Funny how a single choice can change a characterization!

@doctorhino It's impossible to know for sure what is the strategy of Atlus.
It's possible that some people are very skeptical about going multi platform in the company, or that they believe the pool of potential customers is already touched with a single release and having more than one would mean dividing the sales, not multiplying it (for example).

@NoxAeturnus There's no proof on exclusivity, no open deal or anything like that.
It is possible that such a deal exists (and for example the Persona 4 deal expired before coming to PC) or, and I think it's more probable, there's just a strong relationship between Sony and Atlus just like you said.

Either way, if Persona 4 & 5 aren't on Switch right now it's very probably because of the history between Sony and Atlus and not the Switch's power.

I'm very happy to see more mystery dungeon games, but when you've been releasing the same game for 10 years... that's a bit much. That's almost Skyrim-level of re-releases.

I'm so disappointed. Even without the switch problems, this doesn't feel like I'll enjoy it that much.

@shgamer I would highly recommend to have a reminder on your calendar to charge some of your stuff yeah. I had to change the dead battery of my old vita 1000 and it was pretty annoying

@Alexface DS batteries are easy to replace if yours is dead. That's the good part.
But for Switches...

@Retro_Player_77 Mainly a problem with the lite I guess.
I do need to remember to check on my DS, GBA SP etc battery once in a while. (In the end I almost miss AA batteries)

Too bad Rockstar isn't really interested in their legacy games these days.
I was already pissed they never released a PS2-era GTA on the PS Vita, it's even sadder now.
It certainly helped sales of the Saints Row franchise on the Switch to have basically no competition, I guess.

@Anguspuss If it's like the other Kingdom Rush games, far from it. The first one released in february and was 7€ for a week, that's as low as it's been.
I believe they're trying to hold to the value of their games more than other publishers.

The pricing is insane, especially for older games in the series.
I remember when the series was just a free game on Kongregate. Back in those days the speed was not a problem, you were here to lose some time anyway.

@Thannus It makes people feel like the game was not delivered finished as debugging kept going after print.
Also for (hybrid-)portables like the Switch that means when you play just after getting out of the store you play the bugged 1.0 version and have to wait before playing what you feel is the "real" release.

But ultimately I agree, quick updates are good. I do not long the days of 3DS Pokémon games with days of fear caused by save-erasing bugs

Update the "L is real" texture to read "No Galaxy 2" I'm sure!

I just don't know if I prefer a HD N64 version or HD 3DS version for OoT and MM.

Let's hope those emulators will be put into good use for more classics on the Switch.
But as those games use original patched roms, I fear we will also get a Zelda 3D all-stars next year with the N64 games without the parts from the 3DS remasters

@DanElectrode in SM64, all the parts of Mario that aren't polygons are 'upgraded' (eyes, moustache and the M on the hat) so some textures are changed... but it could be the only example of such a change as far as I know.
