@EliteXeos As I said in my previous comment, it has happened multiple times on PSN, and yes Sony usually revokes the licenses (so even if you've downloaded the game you can't play it, like if you switched accounts). It is fair, and some countries have laws protecting businesses from "price errors" when the error is so enormous that the client should know that this price is impossible.
@Ziondood if you mean the US 90s show, a hundred episodes or so were made in the 2010s so it never truly left here!
But a new show centered around the Marsupilami's three kids should come out this fall, so this game looks actually like an adaptation of this upcoming show.
@Diorm I wouldn't be surprised if it's a mold that's been reused from some older comic-book related figure. Maybe Microids knows that older fans buy the collector editions, and I'd guess older fans would prefer the original design.
Creating value out of not enjoying a commercial product is just sad, and I'm glad that reading the comments here, a lot of people still agree with that idea. Just play your card games, read your comic books. In some years the market will crash just like it did for everything else, all we will have won is kids not being able to play cards.
@Socar humor and honesty aren't antinomic. But it's ok not to enjoy someone's or some site's style. It would be awful if every review was identical though.
@TSR3 That's yet another game in the Dungeon & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe, but this is not Baldur's Gate 3 either. Baldur's Gate 3 is a single player game PC only for now Dungeon & Dragons : Dark Alliance is an online coop game for Playstation/Xbox https://darkalliance.wizards.com/en
As I said: very weird to release this game when the names of other games are so similar and will get lost.
@TimNL @TSR3 I was talking about "Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance". The game is set on the same "realm" as Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance with familiar characters like Drizzt. But the gameplay is very different. The game won't release on Switch though.
One of my favourite games. But at this price it should have been both games in the series.
Also: very weird to release this when a new game that's very different in gameplay but with an almost identical name is just about to release in a few weeks.
me at the game shop: hello do you have uh hmm uhhh — aah--- hmmm Defeat Monsters to Get Strong Swords and Armor. Even If You Die, Fight and Become Stronger. We Believe in the Day the Heroes will Defeat the Demon Lord for the Nintendo Switch please
It's really cool to see how the visual-novel genre (or very narrative games) bridged itself between western point and click funny games to weird very talky japanese ones. Now we've got so many choices and this could scratch an itch I didn't even know existed. I love the setting.
@Supadav03 Bravely Default 1 on 3DS is a love letter to old school Final Fantasy. Sometimes to a fault, but the payoff is great. It still holds up. Too bad we can't streetpass a lot of people anymore, though.
Always weird to give a big release for a new IP but at least they believe in their work, I guess!
Too bad the soundtrack is digital only though (But I might have just outed myself as an old man for caring about audio discs lol)
Having a percentage should be the norm (if it's accurate) ! I remember trying to turn my batteries in my game boy to try to make the battery led disappear. Give us more juice dammit
Also: Do people who reply "slow news day" know that what they're really saying is "I don't care about this so I'm gonna pretend that I'm not able to read any other page on this site". lol
@BenAV I think you're right... but I've checked play-asia and the game is 56.- so almost half-price of the 98.- normal price. For a physical release. Koei Tecmo will probably believe no one is interested by their game if all the strategy fans just buy it from overseas lol
Romance of the three kingdoms is 98.- CHF in Switzerland.
What a joke.
How could niche series like that find their audience when people can't buy the game.
And naming it "bundle" isn't really fair when you can't buy the game without their extensions... especially when the Season Pass isn't even in the bundle !
And I don't know how the game is priced elsewhere but here:
Base game: 98chf
Season Pass : 42 chf
= 140
Those re-releases tri-pack are so expensive (if they're like the ones we already have). And I guess it's going to be eshop only?
@Friendly The pre-Ryza games are pretty 'girly' in their themes and visuals. Rorona and co makes me think about Card Captor Sakura and things like that.
It's the new ones that will get you the most weird looks.

Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Expansion Pass Appears For Free, Thanks To An eShop Exploit
@Heavyarms55 It could still happen in the future. Stopping the new sales was top priority for sure.

Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Expansion Pass Appears For Free, Thanks To An eShop Exploit
Looks like the bonus is now being tagged "not for sale" in eshop updates.
Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Expansion Pass Appears For Free, Thanks To An eShop Exploit
If the eshop works like for the PSN, all the licences will soon be revoked (remember Valkyria Revolution a few days ago?) but heh. It's funny.
Re: Capcom May Have Postponed A Significant Mega Man Battle Network Announcement
covid really screwed the plans of every business, it's understandable. I hope everyone in the team is fine.

I certainly hope our 3ds games aren't time bombs. This would be terrible for future retro-gaming.
