HAL Laboratory, the company responsible for the iconic Kirby series, has released its first smartphone game in Japan.
Hataraku UFO involves stacking various items on top of one another while ensuring they remained perfectly balanced. Your tasks range from moving furniture to assisting cheerleading teams with their formations. The better your performance the more cash you earn, and this can be spent on accessories which help increase your chances of success.
Hataraku UFO is the work of HAL's smartphone division, known as HAL Egg. It's available on Android and iOS right now, and costs 480 Yen. You'll need a Japanese App Store or Google Play Store account to download it. It's not known if the game will make it to the west, but we sure hope it does.

So the eggs are mobile games...ahh
Looks pretty cool--and it's from HAL so it probably is.
Looks interesting. The little UFO reminds me of the Kirby transformation.
UFO Kirby, is that you?
As balance games go, that looks a fun one.
Looks fun, also was that a boss battle right at the end?
HAL excels in simple games. They should put Boxboy on the smartphone too.
Can we have this in North America? Please?
It's good that they can make small title like this in their spare time but c'mon where's Mother 3?
Why is this not been release on US?
looks like a DS game
If HAL makes a good profit on mobile will that mean more resources could potentially be placed on the mobile side of things and less on developing Nintendo games. I mean good luck to them I love their stuff and want them to succeed but will miss the hell out of them if that occurs.
@retro_player_22

its right here
Looks charming enough.
Aiyah! This is actually different and enjoyable!
@ogo79 I don't want bootleg version of games, I need the real deal. That one may be translated but the quality is terrible.
@retro_player_22
actually thats not true.
a lot of people dont know but piko interactive was the first to release what you would call a quality repro of mother 3.
they stopped the repro business and went on to purchase the rights to defunct game companies. i was the first person to get that mother 3 cart as i was told to keep it on the low for awhile. my label is glossy and the inside of the cart is clean as well. after he made these a lot of people started using the same sticker. as i tell others, if you want the real deal youll have to wait for it on switch or learn japanese. by the time you learn the language it will already be out on switch.
