Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, 23rd September

Ok this has to include the N64 Online service. It makes sense having the controller rumour. I dont think it is a Game Boy controller, it wouldn't make sense I think.

And please don't let it have a huge amount of the suscription price. I would pay an extra $5 but not much above that.

Re: Poll: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD's Biggest Question - How Do You Pronounce Fi?

@Chowdaire I don't think I am on the second half yet. I'm on the Lake Floria right now, about to get to the Cistern dungeon. Enjoying it so far. And it's true I'm playing the game on handheld mode, and the controls are great. It feels so natural so swing your sword with the right stick. And the camera too, it just flows.

Maybe on Wii U or even on Switch I guess the controls could get frustrating if your playing it with only motion control.

But well, I repeat, it is not the greatest Zelda game ever, but it is an amazing experience. And feels Zelda-ish through and through.

Re: Poll: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD's Biggest Question - How Do You Pronounce Fi?

I think it's Fee.

BTW, this is a very unpopular opinion, but I'm playing Skyward Sword for the first time, never played it on Wii U, and I'm having such an amazing time. I cannot understand the hate it gets from fans. Yes, it no Breathe of the Wild, but the game is gorgeous. Flying through the sky, revisiting every land to find something new, I'm just loving this game.

I was gonna play it either way because this was the only Zelda game I haven't played, but reading the reviews set the expectations really low. But I just can't get why it was received with such negativity.

Anyway, go play it yourself if you never played it.

Re: Mortal Kombat 11 Passes Twelve Million Sales Worldwide

Amazing game. I was kinda scared because I felt the Switch couldn't handle it well, but the quality really shines.
The only raw moments are the intros where there is a totally different lightning and you can tell it's lowgrade, but you get used to it fast enough, and it doesn't affect the quality of the fighting (which is amazing).

Re: E3: Get Your Nintendo Life E3 2021 Bingo Cards Here!

luxoricious

I only need:

Mario Odyssey 2
A new Donkey Kong
Another Zelda remake (hopefully Wind Waker and Twilight Princess)
And a Game Boy, GBA or N64 switch online.

I don't think I'm asking for too much.
A new Mario game is really need at this point after many ports. A DK game is being rumored and its hopefully happening. A Zelda remake is something natural since it's its 35th anniversary.
And some new console addition to the Switch Online os basically free for Nintendo to do, so I dont think is really nuts what I'm asking for.

Re: Feature: Our Predictions For Nintendo's E3 2021 Direct

I really wish they announce something for Nintendo Online too. Whether it's N64, Game Boy or GBA, I will be totally pleased.

Also, this is some of my predictions:

-A new Mario Odyssey;
-Donkey Kong World (or something 3D);
-Zelda BOTW 2 footage.

And I really do hope they will announce a new Mario kind of game, whether it's a Peach game, a Wario game, a Waluigi game, or something on the like.

Re: So, What's Happened To Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time's Physical Version In Europe?

luxoricious

I highly recommend this one. Looks amazing for a Switch port.
Yes, there is this weird texture when playing in handheld, but it is not distracting at all and it plays smoothly enough even to notice some downgrade.
Amazing game, super challenging though (I complete it 100% with +70 hours), but never impossible and never unfair.

Best Crash game, and if you loved the previous trilogy, you have to play this one.

Re: Feature: Best Super Nintendo (SNES) Games

luxoricious

How can there be so many Street Fighter games on the list, and no Killer Instinct or Mortal Kombat 3?
Don't get me wrong, I love Street Fighter, but KI and MK3 were iconic, and I played them to death when I was a young kid.
Maybe they were more popular here in latin America than Street Fighter, I guess.

Nevertheless, good list.

Re: Does Nintendo Have A Handheld Future Beyond The Switch? Yes, Say The Experts

luxoricious

I love the hybrid console.
I was always a fan of handhelds, and I got them all.
When the GB was out, I had the GBA and I couldn't afford one.
Same with the Wii and Wii U, I never got those because I had a DS and a 3DS. And for people who live with a minimum wage at those times, I wasn't able to get one home console.

So when the Switch came out, it was like a state of mental peace to only have to worry about getting one console and not having to choose between the handheld or the bigger one.

I would love to have a Game Boy mini though.

Re: Review: Super Mario All-Stars - All That Glitters Isn't Necessarily Gold

luxoricious

I actually have so much good memories with All Stars.
Remember opening up my SNES when I was a child, put this cartridge on, and automatically feel that everything looks better. I wasn't aware of any promotional pic of anything, I didn't even knew what a SNES was. My father just bought it, brought it home, and I discovered that magical color palette over the NES one.
So to play this game, with flaws and all, reminds me of that magical time.

Us, 90s kids, are so blessed to have had enjoy these times in gaming history. I can't love Nintendo and Mario enough.

Everything this September is making up for this horrendous year we are living.
