Yeah, this has pretty consistently been $1.50 on the US eShop on sale. It's worth the full $15 asking pricing, but $35? Moved away from physical releases for most indie games myself.
@Expa0 I totally agree. Anyone who cannot snag a copy in that window will be paying quadruple the price on eBay. Why would they limit a collection that so many people have been chomping at the bit for?
@KIRO It has the guts of the AGS-101, but a new case/buttons. The case is an icy white and the buttons are glacier blue. So, not a mod to functionality but to aesthetics.
Heck yeah. I paid $120 for a modded GBA SP, so $199 for a premium product like this isn't too much of a stretch for me. The $99 dock doesn't seem too far-fetched given the price point of the switch dock.
Hope to see more first party titles in June. Really noticing a lack of AA Nintendo games. Things like Mario sports, Pikmin, Kirby, etc. Like many, I was under the assumption that consolidating the console and handheld divisions would result in more titles. Perhaps, Switch development is that much more resource intensive.
Highlight of the direct mini for me. Absolutely adored the first two games. I have trouble playing jRPGs these days, but these captivate me for some reason. Can't wait to try the demo.
@JayJ Yep. I've been burned too many times taking a chance on a game that turns out to not be my style. Honestly, there are so many great games on the Switch right now, that I'm having no trouble keeping myself busy with bigger releases, the occasional deeply-discounted indie, and free stuff like Asphalt 9. Also, going back and replaying favorites from the past 3 years.
@DockEllisD Same. We've been so spoiled by sales, that I don't consider physical releases of Indies anymore unless it's a game I know I'll replay or keep indefinitely. And I rarely look in the eShop outside of the 9.99 and under category.
@NickKnack Right, nice! We used to be big into table top gaming but got out of it around 2015. Now that our kids are a little older, we've been rediscovering some favorites. Really want to give this one a shot. Thanks for your opinion.
I've heard this is one of the standout card games of recent years. The way people talk about it, it sounds like it would've been a good Spiel Des Jahres candidate. Anyone here play the physical version?
Perhaps the Lucky's tale Dev was not hired to work on mp4. It seems to make more sense that, given his background, he would be brought in to work on something more akin to dktf. Hoping retro has more than one project in the works. Maybe a new dk or something similar.
Returned my launch pair a few months ago, and they ended up just sending me back brand new joy-cons at no cost. I had swapped out the sticks earlier in the year. Totally happy with the customer support experience.
@dugan I had a lot of fun with the first game. Most of the puzzles were fairly straightforward and there wasn't much dexterity required, but I really fell in love with the aesthetic. The music was a particular high-point for me.
@Ogbert I agree. This looks more like a Ridge Racer or Project Gotham type to me. Suffice it to say, it looks great. As much as I love futuristic racers, I've always preferred street racing with loads of drifting involved.

@Coffee_Drinker Thanks, that's helpful. SV is brilliant, and I prefer the pixel art anyway.
Re: Story Of Seasons: Friends Of Mineral Town Launches In North America On 14th July
For someone who's never played harvest moon, what differentiates it from stardew valley? Any reason to pick this up if I already own and enjoy SV?
Re: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 And 2 Remasters Officially Revealed, But They're Skipping Switch
THPS 3 was where it was at. Once they added the manual to connect strings of tricks, it was hard to go back.

@TheGameTutor Ah, ok. I checked BGG as well, and the prices were a bit inflated (~$80). Thanks.
Re: Here's A Closer Look At Wingspan, One Of The Indie World Showcase's Quieter Stars
@TheGameTutor Very cool. Now if only it weren't out of print and super expensive. Hope they are going to do another run soon.

@YANDMAN I don't know. I've been waiting for a Fast RMX physical since launch, and that's yet to materialize. Here's hoping!

Amazing game... But snagged this in a sale for 4 bucks the other day on the eShop. Can't really justify 10x the price for physical.
