I think it would be very endearing if a male and female protagonist situation were explained in the story as a brother/sister relationship, perhaps twins. Could lead to some interesting co-op play as well.
@Monkeyofthefunk So instead of releasing the handheld or console that we're all waiting for, they'll release a phone, the device that won't "compete directly with the 3DS or WiiU."
Are there any other conspiracy theorists here who believe Nintendo itself is leaking these crappy prototype photos in order to add to the mind-blow that will happen when we see the real device?
@xoIrishWxo My brother-in-law just recently gave me a PS3 and I struggled to find a handful of games that I was both interested in and that didn't have any profanity or gratuitous violence. Ended up selling it (Ico/Shadow of the Colossus will have to remain a fond memory). We are a Nintendo only family, and plan to stay that way.
@xoIrishWxo Definitely. I'm 31 with two small children as well. The real world is hard enough, and video games should be a total escape. Nintendo always provides a lighthearted escape and rarely releases anything I can't share with my family as well. They are the Studio Ghibli of video games.
@Laxeybobby Should we create a forum thread for designers creating traditional SMM levels, so we can play and star each others' stages and follow each other?
If I may offer a bit of constructive criticism as a career graphic/web designer: Trajan/Cinzel is a poor choice for paragraphs of text. It really works best when used sparingly or for headings. The mix of caps and small caps is hard to read and makes lengthy sections hard on the eyes. You'll want to chose a font with a tall x-height, preferably a humanist, sans-serif that was designed for screen use. You may lose a bit of style or flavor in using a simpler font, but readers will thank you!

Re: E3 2016: Full Title Of Wii U And NX Legend Of Zelda Revealed
Again, Nintendo is the Studio Ghibli of video games. Masters of understated beauty.

Re: More Than A Million Super Mario Maker Levels Have Been Uploaded In A Week
@DrawingPower I think this is a great philosophy.

EDIT: Guess I should've checked the forums first: https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/online_gaming/super_mario_maker_level_codes1#reply-01
