@Solid_Python Ah, really? I thought at least it was needed like an update patch. Hm, now I'm more interested how further the Switch 2 could take games without any patches seeing the half emulation solution they went with.
@jwfurness I don't know how that works with the Switch 2 since Nintendo admitted it's a half emulation solution and it could also be like limited to only use the equivalent of the Switch 1 power when the Switch 2 is emulating it.
I wish that we see patches (honesltly, free or ortherwise at this point) that fix performance issues on Switch 1, even from indies. Like, I want to buy Tunic on Switch but I've heard that it runs quite badly.
@Samalik I frequently visited the page for years. And, I'm sorry but you are exaggerating in both the frequency those opinions were displayed and how they were displayed. And, of course, no examples either.
And the only "example" you had is you saying that they seemed to go "too far" when they said that wasn't woman to be protected that they were "sexist"?
The thing is, I know what people like you refer to when saying "politics", some people here even say it out loud. At least the part about how any times gay people are mentioned seems too much for them and how bad gay people are.
I wish to be wrong here and it's just people annoyed by political themes and nothing more. But every time I dig a bit deeper the political themes they are "annoyed" by are the same while having alternative creators and websites happy to display political themes... Just not the same ones they were annoyed by before.
@Wisps People say "political" themes all arround here and how bad those "political themes" are but I'm going to ask the question. What are people refering to here with "political themes" in this context?
@SillyG oh, yeah. That would be good too. The only case that happened with Nintendo games on Switch 1 that I can remember is with the Pokémon games. Even when MK8D got one of those bundles, the DLC was in a code.
@Zufolobelisk In my case, I play other games. Just finished Demon Turf, a quite interesting 3D platformer.
It's just that it's sad to see Banjo just stuck in limbo and have its owners continuely saying how not viable is to make a new one because it's not Fornite or something.
The eShop had the orange color for a while and for multiple consoles. But the Nintendo brand is probably bigger and they use red so it makes sense.
And I know the Switch 2 is quite similar in UI design but... man, please make the eShop faster at least. The Switch 1 eShop is annoying to navigate due to how slow is to scroll.
I honestly hate this mentality coming from Microsoft side. And, sure, there is a Banjo bubble online that can be loud and probably that isn't even that big. We also saw games like Neo The World Ends With You, a sequel to a niche game that had a quite active bubble online, not sell well at all when it finally happen. Heck, even Final Fantasy VII didn't get an audience "big enough" for Square Enix it seems.
But how do you know that it won't sell well in the first place? Sure, market studies and all of that exists. But it seems the "market study" here comes from "it's not a genre of games that is popular now so it obviously won't sell". Like, do a Crash Bandicoot style remake of the two games and see at least before just giving up. It's better than just let the IP rot like they do with everything. The Crash Triology sold well and even Crash 4 didn't sell bad at all either.
@SillyG To be honest, even having full price reprints of old games would be nice. Older non evergreen Nintendo games that stopped getting prints years ago like Xenoblade 2 or Fire Emblem Three Houses can get quite expensive in the second hand market. Although if they do "Nintendo Select" style reprints, they won't be cheaper than 40-45 euros/dollars since those prices are the ones that Nintendo is willing to do when they put digital discounts on older games.
I hope they add more to this list. Games like Mario Maker 2 would benefit a lot having mouse controls and games like Xenoblade 2 need some performance enhancements.
At least having games like ARMS or NSMBUD shows they are willing to update older games.
Finally! It was so annoying having to download stuff through the eShop. Probably didn't help how you couldn't sort the list in any other way than the default or how slow the eShop was.
@Matt_Barber I was going to make my comment only about the Switch 2 Edition stuff but after seeing how this article pushed some people to praise Xenoblade X by saying how "bad" BoTW was made me really confused. Like... come on.
Anyhow, yeah, Xenoblade 2 needs a Switch 2 Edition MUCH more to be fair. Would be good to have that game at like 60fps and not dropping to 480p resolutions. When the Switch 2 Edition concept was "leaked" I had the fear that Nintendo would just focus on upgrading the more recent Switch 1 games and ignore cases like Xenoblade 2 but after seeing games like ARMS get an upgrade, it did gave me some hope.
I'm honestly surprised they didn't annouced Xenoblade X DE Switch 2 edition to make that game look even better.
Also, fun fact, people can praise XCX without having to put down Zelda BoTW. Just saying. In this case is even more confusing since Monolith Soft helped design the world of BoTW too.
@Serpenterror To be fair, the share of Rare stock Nintendo bought was not a majority one but it was big, like 40%+ big, bigger than what Sony right now has of FromSoft. And Rare was making exclusive games from Nintendo during all that time until the Microsoft purchase.
The minority stake but with exclusive deal to publish their games on Nintendo only was probably just because of Nintendo's mindset regarding mergers and acquisition more than anything else, believing a hands off approach and merely helping finance and publish Rare games was better for both. The deal probably specified that Rare made games that were not from Nintendo licenced properties were owned by both entities or even Rare themselves. Hence why all the Rare IPs were sold to Microsoft when Nintendo sold their part of Rare to them. Not the same situation as Sony with From Software right now.
And the reason why they sold it? Well, probably because owning 40% of a company that it's other 60% was owned by a competitor was not appealing to them.
As for Sony, the company they are trying to buy owns majority shares of From Software. They would control around 80%+ combined if they decide and manage to buy Kadokawa.
@Zeebor15 I've heard that before, yeah. I mean, it's understandable for governments to have power to avoid foreign companies buying local ones and I've seen recently there has been quite a lot of offers from foreign company acquisitions in Japan. And I actually even agree with those regulations (and even that some countries should be more aggressive in that regard).
...I just also agree that they should have bigger regulations for local company mergers considering monopoly is a real thing that could have devastating effects in a market. I know judges in the US are really lenient with company mergers, specially in non essential markets like media but, even if it was a longshot, I believe the Activision purchase should've been blocked and this one probably also should just for the effect on the anime distribution alone (keep in mind, Sony acquired Crunchyrool a couple of years back). Oh well, we'll see where this goes. If the offer is accepted and if it actually goes through.
Also, aside of the Mario thing and even Nintendo, this aquisition would be insane. Like, it should probably even get attention for regulators if it was proposed insane.
And, unlike a US company buying a Japanese one, this one is local so the protections and regulations are probably not as strong. Hoping this is just a rumour.
@Serpenterror A little note, Nintendo never technically bought Rare. They never hold majority shares of Rare back then.
In fact, one of the reasons why it was sold to Microsoft was because Rare needing more money and Nintendo not being open at first to purchase more of it, allowing other companies to make their bets.
Also, big aquisitions like this always leads to cost cutting and layoffs, it's not only Sony. I remember when people screamed at the FTC when they were saying that was going to happen with the Microsoft-Activision merger and how Microsoft said they totally wouldn't do it... only for them to do just that after the courts shrugged at the FTC complaining about market consolidation (again) and dismissed everything.
@LXP8 The Best LGBT games list is probably a good competition for that. Because some people feel the need for some reason to say that they "disagree" with it.
@Arawn93 You are literally doing whatabautism here.
And, you know what? I played all numbered Xenoblade games, including Xenoblade 2 and their DLC. You can go probably go back in my comments and see me talking about those games all the way when they came out (at least since I'm active here). So I'm far from a tourist.
So ignore all the whatever random Twitter tourists you mentioned to avoid talking about what I said, I think the obsession online with lewd content when talking about censhorship and games in general is sad. This obsession about how women in videogames are "ugly" and how EVERY time "censorship" is brought up is all about lewd is just sad, I can't really say it any other way. It makes it look like an excuse. And, of course, the hipocrisy of it all when censorship is fine when they like it.
And even sadder is the content creators that are making money making ragebait videos about this, searching for witches at every place possible since their livelyhood is dependant on it (and are probably the most clear and questionable tourists out of them all).
@Mirastrix To be fair, a big part of people complaining aren't even Xenoblade fans. They are just tourists complaining about "censorship" and "woke" and how women in videogames are "ugly" (and how a character that is canonically 13 years old doesn't have a bikini armor).
Now, don't get me wrong, I could understand the criticism about the character creator. In there it's less options for a character you make after all. But at this point I just find frustrating the most loud complaints about censorship online are about... Em... Lewd things while other stuff gets ignored or even sometimes gets praise when it gets censored. And yes, that happens. Specially with LGBT topics.
Honestly. Disagree with you almost compleatly on almost every point, impressive.
First of, if the dev wants to hire consultants then... why not? If it is their desition then it shouldn't matter, right? It's not like devs just make their games in a vaccum a lot of the times. They seek plenty of outside opinions because that is where you can hear different perspectives.
Is there an "anti gay curator list" on steam that singles out games without gay characters on it? Come the *** on, really? What is this both sides stuff? Yes, if somone wants to make a game without gay characters then go ahead but, let's be real, that is not an issue here.
With that I mean, the same example I made with a small indie visual novel about a gay couple getting hate would not have happened if that game featured a hetero couple. I guarantee you.
And don't go arround "well, if it's critism it's fine actually" stuff. That game in particular was getting HATE not critism. And it wasn't made because the gameplay or even the story but because the character are gay. In fact, this hate makes hearing critism from the audience more difficult because guess what the loudest voices critizicing a game with LGBT themes are. But, hey, I guess having gay characters in the game is not a safe pandering thing anymore (it never was)?
That point about videogames being different kind of artform that just HAS TO relies in mass production and mass sales numbers is also bu***. There are plenty of indie games out there with moderate numbers that create moderate successes. In fact, this is actually a big critism of the AAA market nowadays. A former PS literally came out a couple of days earlier to say that the death of the AA is actually a bad thing.
Also, what is your point with this? That games with gay characters can't even achieve comercial success at all? Never? Well, guess Baldur Gate 3 was an exception or something?
And, yes, it is polarizing. One side is creating conspiracy theories and looking for witches to do witch hunts because they saw a gay person and they are told they have to be angry about that and the other says that the curators lists are cringe.
And I know at that last point it's an exaggeration but... my god. There is SO MUCH toxicity with the "anti woke" ***. It's worse that SJW ever were.
Even here, a place much less toxic than Twitter formally X or whatever, just having the LGBT words mentioned fills the comment section with "discourse". It's tiring.
@Poco_Lypso I just looked at that Fox interview and looking at the context I'm surprised she went there and that she actually seemed to do fine. Huh... Good for her I guess. Anyway, this is not the place for discussing that so I'll stop here.
The thing about that game tho is that there is no "woke" stuff at all to my knowledge. Like, yeah the protagonst is a woman but I don't think that is enough to be "SBI" or whatever... right? Like I said, Bandai didn't really advertised this game at all. It just looked like a mid game that they knew that in an overcrowded market like this would fail so they just didn't advertise it at all. Like you said, I learned from this game first because of desperate for witches anti woke YouTube channels accusing them of being "woke" or whatever. And, like I said, it is also perfect as sacrificial trash. It is a mid game with a woman in it that was going to fail so it makes sense to just push it as an example as "go woke go broke" despite not being "woke" in the first place.
And I know that there is a whole spectrum of people out there that complain about "woke". But what I mentioned come from the biggest voices or for tweets and posts that gets ton of engagement. This views that I mentioned are what the "anti woke anti DEI anti SBI" or whatever think. And to me, I believe that there moto is that if they see a gay person, POC person or even a woman that it is not an anime model, they will complain about "forced inclusion" unless the games turns out good. In that case they will ignore it or pivot to say that it was never woke in the first place. You can deny it if you want but I've seen it so many times it is hard to ignore. Remember the inicial trailers to the Amazon Fallout series? I do. They were disliked a lot because of the woman protagonist. It came out, it was good and people just moved on.
Even the "historically accurate" critism that could be used against Kingdom Come Deliverance with a great point is used for cases when it doesn't make sense. Like people complaining about the Civilization games having woman leaders or black and indigenous leaders. Despite literally being based in actual history. They do that because their logic is that history=medieval=white people only.
And your whole thing about "abundance of woke themes" being badly recieved because that gives people the impression of a "checklist". Why? It is literally the same thing SJW did that so many people complained about. Looking for gay people or whatever and then claim it is anti heterosexual or something. I find it stupid, point blank. Like, what If I want to make a game about gay people? I can't because "woke" now? It is fine for me to get hate for it because other people feel "triggered" when they see gay people on it?
But, yes, I play the games for fun. That's why I actually play the games instead of making and following Steam lists and YouTube channels that make money about complaining about "woke" (and therefore surely don't have an incentive to continue doing it... surely) about how many minorities you can include in a game before it becomes "politically correct DEI SJW feminist woke garbage" or whatever.
That visual novel about a gay couple that I mentioned earlier was relly cute and felt authentic but it got the same complaints that I mentioned earlier and that anyone here should be able to imagine. They even called the dev himself "degenerate" and "mentally challanged" and called GOG and Steam to delete the game (truly anti censorship, huh?). All because he made a small game about his life and the relation that he has with his partner. To me, any culture that leads to that is toxic. And your non answers about how I lied and apperantly don't know anything without specifying at all or explaining why I'm so wrong for thinking this don't really change that view. Good day.
@Lightsiyd I literally went to Civ 6 on Steam, looked at list no reccomending it and multiple of them mentioned how it has "pro-DEI" messaging. List like "Woke Content Detector", for instance. In fact, that list to me is the most meme worthy out of all of this that I know of.
For example: It doesn't reccoment GTAV because "Contains overtly Woke messaging. Multiple VCPR shows feature exaggerated versions of right-wingers who are made to seem ridiculous and ridiculed. No show features exaggerated versions of left-wingers."
They exist, stop denying that it does. And they use the exact same message and "totally valid complains" people use when talking about "woke" in games or whatever.
(also, of course it doesn't appear in th SBI list since SBI didn't participate in the game in the first place so that example is stupid)
@Lightsiyd Like I said, I haven't said s lie at all. That list has Civ 6 as woke because it includes female historical leaders and non-European civilizations which the writers claim are "historically insignificant". I can pull more examples if you want. I can't take that seriously.
If I take that as not a meme and that they wrote that 100% seriously then it is even sadder.
@Lightsiyd Can you be any less specific with your comment, please?
I believe I explained myself quite well about my reservations with people that scream stuff like this non stop online. And comments like yours just reinforce that even more for me honesltly.
I compiled plenty of information about the topic. In fact, I saw an "anti woke" attack in real time in a small game I was following (a small indie visual novel about a gay couple that was attacked because... take a guess). I believe I know plenty of stuff about the whole "anti woke" thing.
In fact, right now I'm even seeing people praising Daikatana advertising saying the ads nowadays are "woke" compared to it. People right now are focusing on ads, claiming they have to be about s** or like a game that failed when it launched. A new attacking point that is less than a week old.
I do know about what they actually discuss (mainly because it is insane plenty of times) and I didn't dismiss any facts at all. Not even one.
And how much information did you compile before making such a statement about anything I said? Specially one that is so non specific. Did you even read my comments here?
@PKDuckman Yeah, this is a great example of them using buzzwords without thinking. They saw a game with an old setting and resorted to the classic "mah historical accuracy" without even thinking. Apperantly woman leaders and black people were invented in 2015.
And the transvestigation thing to pixels is getting to an extreme. Like, how is Aloy from Horizon "ugly"? How is Lara Croft "ugly"? It doesn't really help that they are photoshopping them to be basically models with anime boobs. Which, I'm sorry, but it is not "historically accurate". One of them is in a world full of wild robots that she has to fight them constantly and the other is a.. tomb raider. It is fine for them to not look like models with anime boobs. And a woman doesn't have do be like that to be a woman.
@Poco_Lypso I do know what "'wokeness' being the main selling point that can make a game fail, as can be seen in the current unknown 9 fail" actually means since I believe that game had 3 dollars of advertising budget in the first place.
In fact, this is just more proof that people are trying to claim that game failed due to "woke" or whatever when it is just a game that was destined to fail (and the publisher knew it, hence the lack of advertising) and people are trying to claim it was because of "woke" to get another "go woke go broke" example.
I do not care about "gaming journalism bad" arguments since it's just one side doing bait articles for clicks and the other side using that article for ragebait and I'm sick of it. Specially since due to that it is impossible to discuss certain topics at all in gaming spaces (just look at any comment section in this very webside when the BIG GAY are mentioned).
I guess that the main thing you can do about all of this is basically ignore it. Do "woke" content if you want but try to not mention it much during the advertisment in social media (since it will just bring negativity unfortunatelly) and make good games that couldn't be used in the "go woke go broke" argument.
But I want to also mention again that if your game ends in the target of some chud with any type of following, it doesn't matter what you do and how you advertise it, they'll find something to hate you (or they will just lie).
Even if it sounds stupid, "woke" content can't afford to be bad or mediocre due to all of this. It has to be great. So being the gayest game even and the greatest game ever is probably the best way to shut them up, even when your game is brought up by them.
Fun fact, Nintendo games have been brought up by them too but because those games are good they just make a tweet or a couple of ragebait videos and move on. This very year we had the Vivian in Paper Mario being uncensored as being trans thing and Splatoon 3 DLC reminding people Pearl and Marina are "very good friends" for like the third time at this point (oh and a character in the Splatton 3 DLC usign neutral pronouns because grammar is scary).
Also, I'm not from the US so I can't vote for Kamala and therefore I didn't watch the interview. Good for her? Although I don't think this is a good example to bring up here seeing how toxic this conversations already are. Introducing US partisian politics is not really a good idea to make civil conversations about gaming.
Ad, just like a lot of things mentioned as critism against "woke", what even is "forced inclusion"? When it is "forced"? Because at this point, just having that inclusion period gets those complains.
@Poco_Lypso The main way to avoid "chuds" honestly is to be successful with your game. That's pretty much it. Because after SBI, they will make up another conspiracy theory, after "woke" they will start spamming new buzzwords. If your games get in their target, they will hate on it and not being a success makes it easier for them. And at this point, even just having a woman on a game can be a "red flag" for them. If one search for witches they will inevitably find them.
If they can't use your game to justify the "go woke go broke" mentality then they will ignore you.
Hence why Starfield was the one that was criticized for having pRoNoUnS in their character creator despite Baldur Gate 3 being from the same year and also having them alongside much more "woke" content. The difference is that Starfield already had bad press so it was much easier.
@Azuris when they contacted SBI it wasn't even decided that it was the next controversy online btw. Just saying.
@ottoecamn Case in point. This.
People are so deep in conspiracy theories at this point with this SBI ***** that it is just sad. I've looked at those lists and plenty of great games are in there. Games that they are deciding not to play because of idiots screaming online being really important apparently to their game choices.
They also cherry pick their examples to prove their point. Plenty of "SBI games" were successful. Plenty of "woke" games were successful. But it doesn't matter. Baldur Gates 3 is clearly "woke" and Alan Wake 2 had "SBI involvement" or whatever.
@Lightsiyd honestly? Those lists is just a meme with the games they choose to have in it. The allegations of any game that have a woman, gay or black being called woke is so clear at this point. They are being the SJW they hated so much but with the triggers reversed. The fact that some people out there take this so seriously is really sad.
@fenlix Again, you are just assuming. In the end they are also a consulting firm with less than 20 employees. And they are also not the biggest necessity to have for game development.
What you are saying is closer to a conspiracy theory than the truth. The only "fact" you have is "DEI bad".
@fenlix Love the assumptions there. You don't have any facts about the money they spent there or how that consultation even affected the game but "DEI bad". Each conspiracy theory that gets made up about stuff like this is stupider than the last.
To be honest, I really like that they are basically doing the Mario Kart treatment here by having new and retro boards. Still hope we get 8 boards, it would be quite close to the og Mario Party numbers. I'm hoping this game is basically the culmination of all the Mario Party games on Switch and has like the full online experience, new and retro boards and mini games and some new experimental stuff. We'll see.
@Not_Soos Vivian being there and being trans is great. And it's great Nintendo acknowledged it. And, to be honest, I'm sure it was a controversial thing within Nintendo to allow it. Especially nowadays with all the hate towards trans people.
Although, I have to admit that it's weird the omissions people do with this sort of stuff.... Not for "political correctness" or whatever but because someone getting catcalled and beating up the ones that catcall her being removed seems more insulting to the people that dislike being catcalled than anything else. It has the same energy to me than the live action adaptation of Avatar removing Sokka being sexist. The original writing was about the character overcoming something unjust (or, in the case of Avatar, a flaw of a main character) and they removed that theme all toghether because "controversy".
Because, let's be real here, It was done not to be "respectful of the people that recieved catcalling or victims of sexism in the real world" or whatever but to avoid "controversy". And, in doing so, is kinda sending the opposite message they probably want to send.
I preordered it but, for some reason, Amazon says that it won't arrive until next week, which is dumb. But whatever... I can wait a bit longer. And sill have tons of games to play either way.
@Automated_Unit_4937 honestly? yes. It is growing little by little. Even if they are doing it by using Instagram as support. Instagram is another that is bigger, Facebook too or TikTok.
Although it's not like it matters since Nintendo also said that they are planning on discontinuing Facebook support too. And they never even tried to add other social networks since launch. So they probably just want to deprioritized distract social network sharing in general.
@Anachronism Agreed. I honestly dislike the more "involved" UIs. Sorry, but the Wii U UIs was a slow mess not matter how charming it was. Just opening a game on Wii U took like 3 times more than on Switch and that was even worse at launch. Recently I went back to play a bit of Xenoblade X and... oh god I forgot how slow it was.
What I would like in the new console is not more "charm" in the UI or Netflix but more options for communications (invites, direct messages to your friends, voice chat...) and make the interface even smoother (especially the sShop). Do that and it's basically a win for me. Although having actual folders and a way to make a personalized order for the games in your menu are small little touches that do not bloat the UI and would definetly be appreciated.

Re: Banjo-Kazooie Composer Explains Why He Thinks Another Game Is Unlikely
Re: ICYMI: 12 Switch Games Will Receive Free Switch 2 Upgrades
@SillyG To be honest, even having full price reprints of old games would be nice. Older non evergreen Nintendo games that stopped getting prints years ago like Xenoblade 2 or Fire Emblem Three Houses can get quite expensive in the second hand market.
Although if they do "Nintendo Select" style reprints, they won't be cheaper than 40-45 euros/dollars since those prices are the ones that Nintendo is willing to do when they put digital discounts on older games.
Re: ICYMI: 12 Switch Games Will Receive Free Switch 2 Upgrades
I hope they add more to this list. Games like Mario Maker 2 would benefit a lot having mouse controls and games like Xenoblade 2 need some performance enhancements.
At least having games like ARMS or NSMBUD shows they are willing to update older games.
Re: PSA: Redownloading Switch eShop Games Has Now Changed With Latest Update
Finally! It was so annoying having to download stuff through the eShop. Probably didn't help how you couldn't sort the list in any other way than the default or how slow the eShop was.
Re: Opinion: In A Post BOTW And Elden Ring World, Xenoblade Chronicles X Is Still Daunting
Re: Opinion: In A Post BOTW And Elden Ring World, Xenoblade Chronicles X Is Still Daunting
Re: Mario & Luigi's Future In Doubt As A Potential Sony Acquisition Emerges
Re: Mario & Luigi's Future In Doubt As A Potential Sony Acquisition Emerges
Re: Mario & Luigi's Future In Doubt As A Potential Sony Acquisition Emerges
@drypaphmrbro we don't really have solid sales figures yet tho?
Re: Mario & Luigi's Future In Doubt As A Potential Sony Acquisition Emerges
Also, aside of the Mario thing and even Nintendo, this aquisition would be insane. Like, it should probably even get attention for regulators if it was proposed insane.
And, unlike a US company buying a Japanese one, this one is local so the protections and regulations are probably not as strong. Hoping this is just a rumour.
Re: Mario & Luigi's Future In Doubt As A Potential Sony Acquisition Emerges
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Fans Are Once Again Discussing The Game's 'Censorship'
@LXP8 The Best LGBT games list is probably a good competition for that. Because some people feel the need for some reason to say that they "disagree" with it.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Fans Are Once Again Discussing The Game's 'Censorship'
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Fans Are Once Again Discussing The Game's 'Censorship'
Re: Random: Reddit Is Alight With Reports Of 'Pure Evil' Mario Party Jamboree Player
This reads like a playground rumour. Love it
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
@Lightsiyd You haven't answered anything at all.
Good day.
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
@Lightsiyd Like I said, I haven't said s lie at all. That list has Civ 6 as woke because it includes female historical leaders and non-European civilizations which the writers claim are "historically insignificant". I can pull more examples if you want. I can't take that seriously.
If I take that as not a meme and that they wrote that 100% seriously then it is even sadder.
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
@ottoecamn Case in point. This.
Re: The Entire Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Team Has Been Put On Redundancy Notice
@Lightsiyd honestly? Those lists is just a meme with the games they choose to have in it. The allegations of any game that have a woman, gay or black being called woke is so clear at this point. They are being the SJW they hated so much but with the triggers reversed.
The fact that some people out there take this so seriously is really sad.
Re: Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Studio Is Reportedly Facing Layoffs
@fenlix Again, you are just assuming. In the end they are also a consulting firm with less than 20 employees. And they are also not the biggest necessity to have for game development.
What you are saying is closer to a conspiracy theory than the truth. The only "fact" you have is "DEI bad".
Re: Tales Of Kenzera: Zau Studio Is Reportedly Facing Layoffs
@fenlix Love the assumptions there. You don't have any facts about the money they spent there or how that consultation even affected the game but "DEI bad". Each conspiracy theory that gets made up about stuff like this is stupider than the last.
Re: 'Super Mario Party Jamboree' Rolls Onto Switch This October
To be honest, I really like that they are basically doing the Mario Kart treatment here by having new and retro boards.
Still hope we get 8 boards, it would be quite close to the og Mario Party numbers.
I'm hoping this game is basically the culmination of all the Mario Party games on Switch and has like the full online experience, new and retro boards and mini games and some new experimental stuff. We'll see.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door For Switch?
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door For Switch?
I preordered it but, for some reason, Amazon says that it won't arrive until next week, which is dumb. But whatever... I can wait a bit longer. And sill have tons of games to play either way.
Re: Nintendo Discontinuing 'X' Integration On Switch Next Month
@Automated_Unit_4937 honestly? yes. It is growing little by little. Even if they are doing it by using Instagram as support. Instagram is another that is bigger, Facebook too or TikTok.
Although it's not like it matters since Nintendo also said that they are planning on discontinuing Facebook support too. And they never even tried to add other social networks since launch. So they probably just want to deprioritized distract social network sharing in general.

Re: Nintendo Discontinuing 'X' Integration On Switch Next Month
