I would suggest them supportiing the Wii U for as they did, considering it only sold 13 million consoles, and it's best selling game around 8 million copies, is being very customer orientated. Even the 3DS was well down on DS numbers.

Or simply the economy, sad as this is, people tend to lose their jobs when times get tough, which of course is the last time you want to see anybody lose their job... but if the comapny goes under then everybody will suffer, well certainly the regular staff, so this way at least it's not everybody.

Articles like this remind me how niche and nerdy our hobby really is, but I would not have it any other way.

Your conclusion lacks a lot of nuance, there are very big differences with previous generations transitions, Nintendo simply did not know understand the more casual nature of Wii U gamers, and the fact they were simply not there to upgade to the Wii U....... The Switch is a totally different scenario.

I thought the Steam deck came after the Switch, not only in terms of release date.........but also sales.

These guys are such hacks, rumors about rumors, based on nothing but pure speculation, no different form the ten a penny low rent You Tubers, that have very few subscribers and even less views, that post video after video suggesting.....

You are talking about opinions, but seem to only take your own subjective views into account.

Who is to say there is a dark side to these games selling well, the vast majority are enjoying them, as they look for positives and fun in games, rather then the core minority "Hobby gamers", who look for reasons not to like games, and spend far too much time playing games and discussing them on the intrenet.

The main audience for these games simply do not see this, or are even aware that people are having issues in the first place.

You simply can't measure the Switch by the PS5/Series X metrics, the Switch looks like it will still shift around 17million units per year, and being ubderpowered has not hindered it's sales in the slightest. Look at the software sales, there are lots of Switch users more than happy with the current console.

Is this still even news, I was not all that bothered when Nintendo Life had a million articles about it previously.

Firstly your comments a lot of times are rarely constructive on this particular subject, although they may seem to be in your own mind, and secondly, which I think is your main issue with this, is that you keep alluding to a common public sentiment or complaint, which has no basis in fact or indeed evidence to back it up.

As I have always said there is a very loud and vocal part of the Pokemon community, that are very toxic and complain all the time, but I would suggest these are the core minorities, rather than a more widspread crusade against these games, which I have said over and over, are far from perfect, but still very enjoyable.

Even though I have no issues myself, I still see there are problems, but does it have to taint every single joycon related thread?, pretty sure it does not. Just let people be happy about some new colours. There have been many other articles about the drift issues.
