The reason why the symmetrical set up of the Wii U is better is because you have two analog sticks above what is essentially a SNES button layout.

So, in that sense, it's the perfect controller not only for modern gaming, but also for the virtual console stuff. Wii U pro controller really was the best controller ever minus the lack of analog ZL and ZR.

Sounds like lip service to me. I highly doubt the game would have felt as though it was released in a rushed state had they kept the original date.

It's amazing that in 2019, after every OS update from Nintendo, fans are still asking for the same features.

Just curious, what disallowed you from playing it back then, and still now via your PS4?

Witcher 3 on One X. The performance mode is great. 60fps while hitting 4k in certain parts. Gorgeous game, and only $12 digitally.

It's kind of interesting to see a lot of people in here saying this game isn't worth $60.

Last year I got ran out of the building around here for suggesting that the latest 2D side scroller from Nintendo shouldn't ever cost the same price as far cry 5 (for reference: $60).

@Xelha if you didn't have motivation to explore in breath of the wild, then maybe open world games just aren't for you.

I am absolutely ok with this. I still boot up the first one on my Wii u from time to time and literally just walk around for a little bit wishing I had more to do. I think I put in over 200 hours total.

Loving RE2 Remake on One X. The 4k 60fps HDR is unmatched.

I am all for this, and will be paying full price to play it on someone else's switch.

For me, these comparisons are great. Give me 4k 60fps any day vs. portability. I don't travel or commute via public transportation and so I have no reason to choose the switch version of anything over another option.

If pressed I guarantee you these developers would all admit compromises had to be made to their true vision when putting games onto switch.

@JR150 pretty sure FIFA 20 is also going to be full price on switch. They aren't going to offer up an "update" to your copy of last year's game.

I love how console after console, Nintendo fans act like it's literally anyone else's fault for gimped 3rd party support other than Nintendo. It's crazy how no other console maker has any issue with 3rd party support though. What a funny coincidence.

Dude, you'd be surprised at how many switch owners actually use that line right there, non jokingly, as justification for all these shortcomings of the console.

So glad I passed on Switch. Resident Evil 2 (the new one) on my 4k Bravia paired with the One X has been fantabulous.

Speaking along these lines, after playing BOTW, I can't even return to any older Zelda. It's not like when OoT came out and I was still able to appreciate the 2D Zeldas. No. I cannot bring myself to play any other Zelda anymore that isn't BOTW. If Nintendo literally just came out with a continuation of that game (which they won't, the next Zelda will be controlled entirely by gyro or something just watch) I would buy it twice over.

I mean who is honestly buying this game (or any of these RE remakes) again at this point? I think I own 3 versions of it personally.
