Supply issues, flare ups with China/Russia, and a stagnant/people worried about the economy. It is not a good year to release a Switch Pro or Switch 2.
The only downside to the Wii U having multiple controller options is that it felt like someone got screwed over when they are handed some off brand third party Wii Remote.
This awful company was granted a second lease by people buying games during Covid lockdowns. Then it was granted a third lease by people messing with the stock.
Barnyard Blast is really good, there’s fun to be had here that shouldn’t exist for what it is. Looks like a shovelware game, published by a less than reputable publisher, bargain priced (when it came out).
I had hoped that this game would of gotten a second chance on the 3DSeShop during its heyday and it probably would of gotten a lot more attention then as an $8 download.

Re: Feature: From Hypnosis To Farts, What Happened To The Wario We Met 30 Years Ago?
I always hoped that Treasure would have ended up making a 2D Wario game.
Re: Talking Point: Given The Voice Artist Controversy, Will You Be Boycotting Bayonetta 3?
No, I consider voice acting in games to be useless. If I want to watch a movie, I’ll watch a movie.
Re: Bayonetta's OG Voice Actor Asks Fans To "Boycott" Third Game After PlatinumGames Wage Fallout
This is why video games do not need voice acting. It’s an extra layer of nonsense that only slows down the game flow.
Re: Superb Shmup Radiant Silvergun Is Getting A Physical Release On Switch
The steel book is tempting since a standard edition would look weird next to Ikaruga.
Re: Talking Point: Professor Layton And The Lost Franchise: Where Did The Beloved Puzzle Series Go?
One thing that killed the series early for me was the LONG wait for the second game.
Re: Overwatch 2's New Phone Number Requirement Is Rejecting Pre-Paid Plans
It’s always funny that when companies do something ridiculous that not one person along the way said “why are we doing this?”
Re: Random: After Three Years Of Anonymity, Minecraft YouTuber Reveals His Face
I’ve never heard of him or his channel.
Re: Talking Point: It's About Time Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night Came To Switch
The fact that it is on mobile devices and that it is not a “tablet” called the Switch is an insult.
If one has only owned Nintendo hardware one has been denied this game.
Re: Surprise! Skyrim Anniversary Edition Is Out Now On The Switch eShop
I am sitting there last night (10:00pm) going “why the hell is Skyrim updating?”
For the extra $20 several years later and the extra content it is worth it.

A new Pokémon Pinball.
Re: Talking Point: Where Are All The Lord Of The Rings RPGs On Console?
This GBA game had a really great soundtrack.
Re: WarioWare-Inspired 'Atari Mania' Will Be Gracing Your Switch Next Month
No physical to go along with Atari 50 and Atari Flashback?
Re: Select Pre-Orders For Atari 50 Get Gravitar: Recharged For Free
@konami1987 that’s the other Atari so that company is WB Games now.
Re: Out Now: Treasure's Classic Arcade Shmup 'Radiant Silvergun' Surprise Drops On Switch
I am going to hold out hope for some kind of physical release.
Re: Square Enix Is Now Part Of A Blockchain
Every time I hear “block chain” I think that it is some kind of puzzle game like Bust A Move/Puzzle Bobble.
Re: Koumajou Remilia II Brings More Castlevania Inspired Gameplay To Switch
I just bought the first one, and I will purchase this second one.
Re: Tencent Acquires 49.9% "Minority Passive Stake" In Ubisoft Founder's Company
So how come this is “okay” but when EA and Vivendi had stakes they were seen as hostile?
Re: Skyrim Anniversary Edition Has Been Rated For Nintendo Switch (Again)
I am in as long as my previous save is compatible with this. (There is no way that I am starting over).
Re: "Both Parties" Interested In SNK vs. Capcom Revival
No thanks, the game wouldn’t use sprites so it would be ugly. And it would only have 12 characters and the rest would be DLC.
Re: Embracer Group Completes Acquisition Of Various Square Enix Studios And IPs
Is it weird that I don’t fully trust this Embracer Group?
Re: Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Is Getting A New Crossover Next Week
My copy thinks it’s 7 hours earlier than it really is. Glad to see that getting fixed.
Re: Disney & Marvel Announce First Ever Games Showcase, Airing September 9th
Avatar… they got to figure out someway to pay off the Fox purchase.
Re: Tencent Is Seeking A Bigger Stake In 'Mario + Rabbids' Publisher Ubisoft
Every five or ten years someone tries to “hostile takeover” UbiSoft. They should of let EA buy them years ago.
Re: Nikkei Report Says No New Nintendo Hardware Is Coming This Fiscal Year
Supply issues, flare ups with China/Russia, and a stagnant/people worried about the economy. It is not a good year to release a Switch Pro or Switch 2.
Re: Dragon Quest X Online Launches 'All In One' Switch Package This October (Japan)
We got this instead of the IX remake. One would hope that it has a global release.
Re: "Screw This Game" - Sonic Origins Modder Halts Development On Massive Patch
Sega got it right on the Saturn with Sonic Jam. It speaks to the carelessness of modern game development.
Re: Reggie Explains Why The Nintendo Wii U Didn't Utilise Dual GamePad Support

Re: Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration Features Over 90 Titles, Including Jaguar And Lynx Games
I am really hoping that this one gets a physical release.
Re: Sonic Origins Contributor Shares Frustrations Over The State Of The Game
To be fair, Sega has been guilty of rushing things and not polishing things all the way since the Genesis days.
Re: Atari Goes WarioWare In Microgame Collection 'Atari Mania' Out This Summer
If you ignore the non gaming stuff, this version of Atari is doing a good job.
Re: Sega Confirms Sonic Frontiers Won't Be Delayed, Says Fans "Don't Understand" It
Sega has done this before Sonic 2006? Sonic Unleashed? I could go on…
Re: Rare's Banjo-Kazooie Is Rumoured To Be Making A Comeback
All of these rumors, it makes it seem like Microsoft remembers that Rare is a company.
Re: Brutal Metroidvania 'The Last Faith' Is The Spawn Of Castlevania And Blasphemous
It looks better than Bloodstained as well.
Re: '9 Years Of Shadows' Slices Onto Switch Later This Year
It looks quite nice.
Re: Feature: Sonic The Hedgehog Compilations - Every Sonic Collection Before Sonic Origins
Sonic Jam was godly. I am also reminded that I owned that at one point in addition to the Game Com version of it.
Re: Unreleased Quake Prototype For Game Boy Advance Discovered
Is it related to this one?
I remember this from the GBA central and AGB.net days.

The art work and sprites are what Bloodstained should of been.
Re: Sega Has Considered Dreamcast & Saturn Mini But Is Worried About Extreme Costs
It’s strange to hear Sega mention the Saturn. The system and it’s library are criminally ignored.
Re: Capcom's Next Street Fighter Game Won't Be A PlayStation Console Exclusive
I get the feeling that a “Ultra Street Fighter 6” will happen on what the next Nintendo will be.
Re: Talking Point: Video Game Music Is More Popular Than Ever, So Why Is Nintendo So Behind?
Nintendo is just protecting themselves for better and worse.
Worse, we “aren’t allowed” to have fun with music.
Better, Nintendo seems to have source codes to their entire back catalogue. While Square Enix lost the source code to the first Kingdom Hearts.
Re: Soapbox: Help, I Can't Stop Buying Japanese Games I Don't Understand And Will Never Play
I’ve got two Japanese games, I had more but then decided that I really didn’t have the room for them.
The two games are Aquazone DS and The Tower DS.
Thanks to translation apps playing these two aren’t an issue.
Re: Pac-Man's Family All Have VERY Different Names In Pac-Man Museum+
According to Drawn Together Pac- Man and Ms. Pac-Man are the same.
Re: Nintendo Reveals Character Concepts For Switch Sports, Included Robot Designs
It’s better that we know now instead of some leak ten years from now.
