Multiple games in the top 10 is a very bold claim, but he is right that Nintendo games have that special ability to keep selling forever. Hell, Mario Kart Wii is still in the top 50.

More (and good) marketing is always appreciated. If Nintendo gives WiiU similar treatment as 3DS had this year and as long as the games arrive on time it could do wonders.

And the more they keep their games away from smartphones the better.

I wonder if this means that 2DS could make it's way to Japan sooner or later now that it's debuting in Asian markets.

3DS/2DS are printing so much money even GameStop gets rich from them.

Just last month I couldn't find Mario in the top 50.

It'll be interesting to see how 3D World performs. especially since it won't have to go up against console launches unlike U.S and Europe. Mario 3D Land opened to 340k in Japan FYI.

If only Club Nintendo existed in Sweden (I already have 3D Land but I want a part in some of their other promotions).

The winners are voted by a council consisting of 25 game journalists from various outlets. The only public poll is "Most Anticipated Game".

Handheld Nintendo should win easily, unless Tearaway blows everyone's socks off or something. RPG is a toss-up and can really go any way (nice to see that Fire Emblem is nominated at least).

The real shocker for me is SM3DW for Game of the Year. I mean the game looks great and I'm counting down the days to it's release but I didn't see that coming. It most likely won't win since the award will probably go to GTA V but it's cool to see it up there nontheless.

McDonalds in Sweden had a Super Mario promotion running through September and October, although from the looks of it the Japanese promotion has different toys from what Sweden had.

In Europe it comes out next week on the 29th.

Monolith Soft were involved with Pikmin 3 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf as well.

I paid for Zelda on physical last week and it should arrive with the mail on Thursday. Will be trying out Sonic Lost World and Lego Marvel Super Heroes demos in the meantime (my big brother is a huge comic book fan and is definitely interested in playing it).

November 29th or December 2nd or whatever day Amazon UK will come with my package, why can't you come faster?

For an iOS game it looks pretty good, but I agree that the similarities to Wind Waker are too many to ignore. There's nothing wrong with taking inspiration - in fact being inspired is a good thing, but this is way overboard.

Just because it's 3DS-focused doesn't mean we won't get some WiiU content.

Likely:

• Updates on Kirby 3DS, Super Mario 3D World, A Link Between Worlds, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Yoshi's New Island, Mario Golf World Tour, Smash Bros. (seeing how we just had Marth last week maybe we'll get a newcomer this time?)

Maybe:

• 3DS Miiverse and/or unified account system finally?
• Surprise game reveal at the end.

Not happening:

• Anything else.

Not a big deal since:
a) It's only by a week.
b) You can play the game digitally right now.
c) WiiU owners will still be playing SM3DW anyway.

Go to page 14. Basically PEGI thinks that since the songs aren't created by the developer/publisher of the game they don't have to rate them.

Going back and censoring the songs would quite frankly be a waste of time, so I'd say giving better information for parents to use caution would be the best way to go.
