Congo Calling isn't singling Nintendo out. All they say is that Nintendo as well as other tech giants like Sony, Microsoft, Samsung etc. should follow Apple in reporting stuff like this and not purchase minerals from conflict-ridden areas where the profits could potentially fund warfare.
And most gamers don't know/care about issues like this so the Nintendo "hate" has no root in this (otherwise they'd call out Sony, Microsoft and other tech giants as well).
I remember Universal Studios Japan doing a Resident Evil exhibition a while back, and I think the Hollywood park had a horror maze based on Silent Hill.
I don't know why random GameStops in Italy would get the word that it's been cancelled when the game is still available (and always has been) to purchase on Ubisoft's own website. Wouldn't Ubi remove it from there first?
If there's any EA game I'm looking forward to it's Star Wars Battlefront (I re-played the original on Xbox recently and it's great fun) but after the BF4 fiasco I'm worried that EA is going to release it in a horrible state just like Battlefield.
And if they think Nintendo is a great partner why not show that? Lazy 3DS ports and no Wii U support at all/constant trashing won't cut it.
There are three possibilities from the way I see it:
A) X isn't as far along as we thought and it's meant to enter full production around this time (which would be odd since from what we've seen it seems to have come pretty far in development).
B) X is coming out soon, but Monolith realized they can't meet deadlines with the resources they have so they need to get in new people quick, hence the "urgent" remarks.
Seems to me like it's during the direct, so that when it ends the servers will be fixed and ready (whether for the arrival of a new sport or not we'll see).
But she won't have control over the art direction. Inafune is in full charge of the project and he's the one to approve everything that's put in the game. If this Dina draws something Inafune doesn't see fit, he can tell her to change it.
3DS is dominant once again. Wii U sells almost as much as Vita and PS3 combined. Mario increases. Pokemon increases. Monster Hunter 4 passes 3 million. The new version of Dragon Quest X sells twice as much as the one that came out in March.

Re: Ubisoft's Updated Line-Up Still Includes Watch_Dogs as an Upcoming Release on Wii U
http://nintendoeverything.com/new-ubisoft-product-schedule-lists-wii-u-version-of-watch-dogs/
Good to know that Dedsec edition is still coming to Wii U as well.
Re: Ubisoft's Updated Line-Up Still Includes Watch_Dogs as an Upcoming Release on Wii U
Good to know that I can still keep my pre-order.
(Though I will probably cancel and refund it anyway so I can buy the game cheaper elsewhere)
Re: Big Red Button's Bob Rafei Spills More Details On Sonic Boom For Wii U And 3DS
@KarateKid1234
Could be even longer than that since Crytek mentioned a "respected developer" working on a Wii U game with CryEngine 3 as early as June 2012.
Re: A Sonic Boom Game is Dashing Towards Wii U and 3DS
@Lance168
I can already tell from the like/dislike ratio that the Sonic fanbase isn't going to be too thrilled with this.
Edit: Huh, apparently most seem okay with it so far.
Re: Month Of Kong: Meet Donkey Kong's Extended Family
"Chunky Kong – A real gentle giant, this guy is the strongest of them all but wouldn't even hurt a fly."
Except when he has to punch giant dragons, obviously.

What about Oddworld: New N' Tasty? It's supposed to come out this Spring.
Re: Shin'en Multimedia Lining Up Another Wii U Game Reveal
While Nano Assualt Neo's demo didn't impress me enough to buy it, it still looked very nice visually. Hope they have a demo for FRN when it comes out.
Re: Video: A Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze TV Commercial Swings Into North America
@XFsWorld
The game has Miiverse support (as pretty much all Wii U games do) and online leaderboards I think...
Re: Wind Waker HD Wii U Bundle With Two Extra Games On Sale for $269.99
1,165 sold. This thing's going out fast.
Re: Wind Waker HD Wii U Bundle With Two Extra Games On Sale for $269.99
Any deal that keeps Wonderful 101 selling is good. That game needs to be in more Wii U owners' homes.
Re: Capcom's Monster Hunter Invades Universal Studios Japan

Re: Nintendo Share Price Drops In Reaction to Investor Briefing
Most of Iwata's announcements didn't go into quick solutions the stockholders want (as they always do), so no surprise it dropped.
It's bound to go back up anyway.
Re: Pokémon X & Y Hit 11.61 Million Worldwide Sales as Nintendo Lists 3DS and Wii U Million Sellers
Do these numbers include digital sales? I would suppose so since the numbers I've seen for WWHD are about 800k retail, and here it's over a million.
Very nice results for Pokemon, almost double of what Black & White 2 did lifetime and it's quickly closing in on Black & White 1.
Re: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Confirmed for the West
Re: Preview: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Buying this digitally day one. Kinda wish they hadn't delayed it but the recent gameplay videos are simply stunning.
Re: Namco Bandai Will Now Be Known As Bandai Namco Around The World
So I've been saying their name wrong all this time? MY WHOLE WORLD IS A LIE
Re: Ubisoft Refuses to Comment on Watch_Dogs Wii U Cancellation Rumours
@tebunker
The February 28 date is a placeholder (they usually put the first or last date of a month if they don't know the exact date).

Re: Watch_Dogs' Pre-Delay Budget Was $68 Million
@Laxeybobby
That's the PS4 demo from the unveiling last February. You can see the PS button icons highlighted several times.
Re: Watch_Dogs' Pre-Delay Budget Was $68 Million
@Maneauleau
The E3 Direct showed a couple of seconds of the Wii U version, and I believe more recent gameplay videos were on PS4.
Re: Watch_Dogs' Pre-Delay Budget Was $68 Million
Still waiting on that new release date, Ubisoft.
Re: Disney Magic World Sells Half A Million Units In Japan
@Emblem
It was released last August, so you can say it took about half a year to reach these numbers.
Re: Yasumi Matsuno On Board For "Unsung Story" Kickstarter Campaign
So they're putting PS Vita ($1.8m) way ahead of 3DS ($2.8m)?
It's a high asking price for either of which anyhow.
Re: No Game Content "Hostile to China" Will Make It Through As Ban Lifts
As long as the regulations don't up as messy as distribution of non-Chinese films then I can see China being a strong market.

Shiggie's new IP should be on the list.

C) It's for their 3DS project.

Only the week before. As it stands it's still the second highest of the month.
Re: NES Remix Miiverse Contest Cancelled Due To Emergence Of Exploit
When I first heard about the competition I kinda figured somebody would find a way to exploit the game to their advantage.
Never underestimate people that put their time and dedication into uncovering these things.
Re: Western Version Of Bravely Default Features Costume Changes For Female Characters
@CaviarMeths
The difference is that Bravely Default is published by Nintendo themselves in the west while Kaguran Burst isn't.
Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2014
Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney over anything else (mostly because I've played a lot of Dual Destines and would like to try out Layton).
Smash Bros. is for the big screen in glorious HD.
Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2014
Will buy:
Smash Bros. [top priority]
X
Watch_Dogs (hell I already paid for it when it was supposed to come out last year)
Donkey Kong
MK8
Bayonetta 2
Put the rest in the 'maybe' category.
Re: Nintendo Dominates Festive Hardware Charts in Japan
Impressive sales bump for Wii U.
Mario is still going strong.
Go get that 1 million Luigi!
3DS:

They aren't out in Japan yet.
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
So eShop is working fine but the purchase/download pages take some time to load.
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
After hours of trying, I managed to access Wii U eShop just now.
But when is the sale happening? DuckTales hasn't been lowered yet.
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
Even Wii and DSi shops are down apparently.

Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
Hope they get eShop working soon. I'm thinking of purchasing some games during the sale that starts tomorrow.
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th December and 2nd January (Europe)
I'll consider DuckTales this week.

Rule 34. No exceptions.

These 'dissents' make a hassle over what's really nothing and only make themselves look stupid for it.
