@Andy_Witmyer I come here to read the reviews and then buy for my steam deck. Especially if there's performance issues then I'm definitely getting the PC version. You know there's another platforms other than Nintendo yea?

I've been playing Hades II on my switch, I mean my steam deck. Been loving it!

The fallout games 3,NV,4 run beautifully on the steam deck OLED.

@Keman Alan Wake 2 on my PC looks better than the PS5/XSX version and I'm running DLSS at ultra performance mode(720p) to 4k. The image quality is staggering considering what the base resolution being resolved from. Are there artifacts? Yes. But DLSS has come a long way from when it first came out.

@AlCamus nah sorry I wasn't referring to Arcadia bay. Honestly gamers need to stop buying crap day one maybe do the bare minimum of research. They keep doing it and keep getting burned. @Needham90 people keep saying PS2 game. These are based off of the PS3/360 HD versions that were built from the ground up. A lot of places were saying they ran at a locked 60 on those platforms. That is incorrect as there were many framedrops on those versions as mentioned by digital foundry. The only version that maintains a 60 fps is the xb360 version via backwards compatibility on a Xbox one X or series X

@MirrorFate2 untrue. Just wierd fear mongering by the same people who misuse the word "censored". Generic historic live action footage was replaced with other generic historical footage. The difference is negligible.

@Sisilly_G I'm a hardcore fan. And am perhaps part of the problem as I'll be getting it on switch and PC while also relying on fans to fix the issues via mods. As much as I want a clean and modern way to play this series, I just can't find it in my heart to recommend this collection to anyone else lol

That's great to hear that it runs and looks great. I wish the game at hand was actually good. The humour in the borderlands games are so cringe.

Anyone for a love of the OG should definitely try the "world of assassination" trilogy. So damn good. I had lots of fun poking around the levels. Imo is definitely the rune Goldberg of video games. I always thought

@Pat_trick it's literally not. Theres plenty of people,myself included, who are waiting for a patch because the game soft locked on them. There's also no work around so they can't finish the game until a patch comes out.

@RasandeRose you can chose whatever texture filtering you want on the steam deck. It's just the PC version. I don't know why they added it in the video honestly.

@Teksetter I remember listening to podcast like a decade ago with people interviewing devs for Zen pinball one and Pinball Arcade. This has been like the the holy Grail for licensed pinball tables. They've been really trying to get this one for a long long time. Lol

@locky-mavo no I believe they were announced at the same event and we're both rumoured for years before announcing.

This checks all the boxes for me but unfortunately after playing this during steams demo fest, I won't be picking this up. The controls were really bad, the mechanics were overly complicated, and as a lover of synthwave the tracks were really generic. That demo really didn't do any favors seeling me on the game. The trailers look excellent tho. I guess editing can make anything look good at the end of the day.

@JayJ most controllers that used hall effect sticks back in the day still work and those controllers are well over 20-25 years old now. It's works but companies love cutting cost so they don't use them.

@Maxz it's not new tech. It's been around since the Sega Saturn/Dreamcast. Those had hall effect sticks in them already.

@ManInTheChair I think your comment is pretty Ill conceived and kinda of a boring blanket take. The reason why there's so many Metroid fan projects is because Nintendo barely ever touches that ip. And when they do they're not even that good. AM2R was leaps and bounds better than the 3ds remake of Metroid 2. They should just hire the fans who actually want to make quality content similar to what sega did with Sonic mania considering it was the only good sonic games since 2.

The new switchs oled won't get bright enough for burn in. Will also most likely have an automatic dim feature. Burn-in has the be caused from a persistent exact image for 1000s of hours.

Why do weirdos care about review scores so much? Cuz every gamer thinks they have good taste in games and can't stand it other people's opinions are different. It's almost as if reviews are all opinion based and not objective even though people think they are? Hoo man. Wild.

@KateGray played it on gamepass. Super cute game. It's like the polar opposite of their last game which is nice.

@nessisonett I wouldn't call those issues as they are nitpicks. I have my series x,PS5, and pc all for different reasons. Back compatibility just isn't going to be a real thing beyond ps4 so I think those dreams die there. Vita remote play is very much not worth it and not the novelty it use to be considering vita doesn't support a 5ghz connection.

everyone talking mad ***** on cloud gaming but I bet that wouldn't be the case if cyberpunk was getting a cloud version. IM interested in what cloud gaming could do but it'll never be my first choice.

@Tourtus uh becuase 1920x1080 is a 16:9 resolution and this game is in a 4:3 resolution thus the resolution we have for M64

@TimboSlice no they dont. They dont really need them because the analog stick on these are actually functional but i was under the impression that people enjoy gyro aiming because the analog sticks on the joycon for fp games are horrendous.

@Scirocco7 your still wrong though. Just because a device(new consoles) that is hdmi 2.1 compliant aka allowing 4k @ 120 doesnt mean those consoles will hit that target. Unless your buying an oled tv now or waiting for hdmi 2.1 to be the new norm for budget displays within the next year your existing tv is not going to do 4k120. So 8k 120 is not a just around the corner thing.

@Jokerwolf theres no talks of a dlss solution for new consoles. There is DML but that has yet to be announced if it will be utilized on amd cards or Microsoft consoles. You either need to stop talking out of your ass or provide a reputable source.

nope DLSS 2.0 is absolutely on the devs to implement that support. games that dont have dlss dont just magically get dlss 2.0. hell there are even dlss 1.0 games that are still 1.0

Even though this type of game and aesthetic is my jam, i found this game kinda meh.

@Cosats well emulation is not illegal so....idk what to tell ya. It doesnt use any copyrighted code, doesnt have the same name so whats the problem? Also a lot of people from less fortunate countries got into game development via piracy or emulation. So bringing up legal or immoral arguments against this kind of stuff is really just exposing ones privilege. Im not saying you are. Im just using the example for sake of argument.
