@WiltonRoots finally someone mentioned virtual on! Would love a new game in that series.

If it's lighter, I'd think they have more room in the system. If so, I wish they'd have put a bigger battery in there. I'm assuming it has roughly the same battery life as the rest of the 3ds line because they'd use it as a marketing point if the battery was bigger

@RoomB31 think animal crossing retailed for 40 when it first came out. They lowered it to 30 awhile later.

@morphballer just updated on my 3ds too. I've been checking so it hasn't been long. Switch owners got it first but it's at least fairly new

Doubtful but hope they improve the battery life with this. It probably won't but a guy can dream

Just saw their ad. They are offering $200 trade in credit for a PS4, $180 for an Xbox one and $150 for a 32gb Wii u or new 3ds towards a switch

Wish Nintendo would update their sales and deals on their website when they release the new titles for the week. I end up having to wait til I get home and look them up in the eshop

I see the majority of people on here want the 3DS to continue to be supported after the Switch comes out. I feel the same way. I don't see why it can't continue to be supported for a long length of time. The original gameboy was supported for roughly ten years and was vastly underpowered compared to the home consoles that were around.

@Yorumi forgot that the 3ds can't bypass the battery. I was initially thinking that years down the road if the battery quit working you could either keep it plugged in or on the dock but now I don't know

I remember hearing that the GameCube had larger cases so that people wouldn't feel it was inferior to the other home consoles. Probably the same idea with these. I'm just glad they haven't gone to cardboard like Sega started to do back in the day with the genesis to be more eco friendly. I want to take care of the planet but those cardboard cases sucked compared to the older cases

Hope they keep adding more titles. Star Fox 64 3D needs to be in there

Hope Capcom gives Street fighter 3 more love soon. Feel like they could find a new audience with that one.

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy want one with a traditional Gameboy shape. I don't like how the cartridges stick out the bottom of the SP. Unfortunately online most people only sell Gameboy pockets/colors with backlights but not rechargable batteries. I haven't looked hard though, just something I'd purchase if I found it.

@motang it's legal as long as the patent has expired. I thought patents lasted longer than this, since the GBA came out in like 2001 but apparently not.

I'd use it mostly for regular gameboy games so no big deal for me. Not a fan of the way the games stick out of the sp and I actually enjoyed the design of the old Gameboy. For advance games I'll use my SP or micro

Day one purchase for me. I want an old style Gameboy with a backlight and rechargable battery in a compact form factor. Haven't seen anything online with both.

Just looked through their website and saw the new Yoshi game for 3ds is going to be $50. Anyone know why?

@andrew20 I agree. Almost bought one a few times but held off too long. It'll be the first Nintendo system that I haven't owned.

Only owning a 3ds, this is a pretty meh week. Mercenary Saga 3 will be fun though.

@Asaki I still regret missing out on that game. If I remember it came out too close to the GBA so I never got it. Wish they'd put it on the VC but I doubt it'll ever happen

@Freelance hate to say it but I'd wait. It'll most likely lower in price at the stores before too long. I've already seen it for $20 in the US.

@argh4430 personally, I'd keep the physical copy. I could see the argument of going digital if it was for a portable because you wouldn't have to carry the he with you but on a home console, just keep the disc handy

@mig-EL I didn't even know they were wrong til years later. I didn't know this was a separate series back then and didn't know there wasnt a mega man 9 at the time. I had six for NES so I assumed they kept going

I remember as a kid my video game magazine(think it was gameplayers) was confused and thought the X stood for ten. They thought Capcom skipped eleven.... And that's my random story for the day.

I know a north American 64DD would be pretty useless but having grown up with the N64 and having waited impatiently for the thing to release, I want one.

With the success of Pokémon go, I wonder if Nintendo could figure out a way to get a built in GPS on their system. I'm not sure if they could do something like go without an internet connection though.

I liked this game once the glitches were fixed. If anyone wants a decent RPG pick this up for your system of choice

Used to play the second one on NES all the time. Never got around to playing the others in the series.

Wish they still made coverart like this. I don't mind what we have now but there was some great work done back in the day.

Pokemon Go just asked me if I knew where John Connor was.

Loved puzzles and dragons. Didn't care for the Mario half. I'll be surprised if this one leaves Japan but have my fingers crossed
