With Castlevania being in the spotlight thanks to the anime, I have high hopes we'll see more of the series soon! Hopefully it just doesn't take the form of more slot machines though...

@kkslider5552000 You're absolutely right, it does feel like a missed opportunity to not release both of these as a physical pack here in the west. Especially given the fact both games release at the same time.

Maybe we'll get a physical edition down the road like we did for Cadence Hyrule Crypt of the I'm not writing out this game's full title...

Maybe times have changed, but a physical manual was a way you could continue to learn about a game's world when you weren't play the game. I have many fond memories of reading about Golden Sun and Pokemon during study hall in middle school! Some artwork was exclusively found in manuals too!

Digital Manuals are great for the environment, but it feels like so few companies put in the effort to make them anything special. I find myself every so often wishing I had a manual to glance at for newer games, but I suppose we do have the internet I can ask for help too...

@sonicbooming I've been switching between handheld mode playing with standard Joy Con and between docked mode with the Pro Controller and I can't honestly say which is a better experience for combat! Once you get used to one or the other, it's smooth sailing, kinda haha!

@BoFis @drewber2635 The way the package was taped together should have been a telling sign for me, but the excitement I had finding this out in the wild overrode my brain and I just really should have known better.

Plus, the seller could have genuinely been honest, maybe they were the ones who were had! But thankfully now that it's been opened, no one has to be swindled again by this Game Boys tricks.

I've been bracing myself to be disappointed by it for a while, but still had a shard of hope left in me that it'd be brand spanking new inside! Part of the reason I was excited to pre-order and pick up Super Mario 3D All-Stars was for the pin set, but then they ran out before I had the chance to get them. Now they're bringing out another set for a different game? I feel bamboozled.

My heart can't take the suspense!!

For anyone curious, our original preview was hands-off, (which we stated in the preview) we only sat in on a live-streamed demo and a chat with the developers. At the time, I was optimistic, and the fact that I'm not a 7-12 year old kid meant I had to try to relax my expectations a bit.

So for the preview, I gave my honest thoughts, hopes, and explained the gameplay to the best of my ability. It's a real shame the game turned out as it did, but understand our preview was purely that, a preview.
