On Normal difficulty I’m 100%…. On Hero Mode I’m roughly 75%… need to do Korok Seeds and get the Boss Medals and some amiibo armor stuff still.

How is it running better than Scarlet and Violet? And with a better frame rate!?

I took my daughter to see it today. She was very excited and I smiled pretty much the whole movie. They did a great job!

The quietness (“drought”) this year compared with previous years leads me to speculate that something major is at play here.

BotW, XC3, Witcher 3, Pokémon Legends all ran fine and had open worlds (or areas).

It’s really more of a question in general. If Nintendo has this mega franchise and these under skilled developers then they should do something about it if they are taking ownership by apologizing

Let me “tease that out” a bit for you…

Gamefreak/The Pokémon Company have been making this game exclusively for Nintendo since the start… Nintendo even has their company name on the side of the game case, alongside the company as the publisher on the update screen, and they often list it among their million sellers at quarterly and annual market reports.

Nintendo presidents that are the ones apologizing for the release of a this game in a messy state in their home platform, not Gamefreak or The Pokemon company.

They clearly took ownership over the issues. They also have the rights to this game and it is one of their premier franchises.

Surely they (Nintendo) could loan these “trivial/horrible” programming companies/programmers like Gamefreak and The Pokemon Company some of their heavy hitters.

I don’t know about your thoughts on how easily these companies are connected despite having different buildings and locations, but that seems like a simple thing they can do… especially considering they have done things like this for third party companies like Platinum.

Not looking for a “verbal pissing contest” here.

Simply put, they have been aware of these issues since launch. Their respective branch presidents have all posted about the awareness in social media. They have promised to fix them.

These companies are multi-million dollar companies with some of the best programmers in the world. They have had several months where they could get some of the better people in there to address some of the issues.

You’d think they would prioritize that.

Getting rough? Every generation… EVERY generation had had its random odd design or weirdo Pokemon in it. This is nothing new.

Gen 1- Balls and Magnets
Gen 2- Dunsparce and Unknown
Gen 3- Heart Fish and Math Mice
Gen 4- Balloons and Bells
Gen 5- Cryogonal, Garbage and Ice Cream
Gen 6- Keychain and Coal
Gen 7- Bruxish and all the unholy Wormhole things
Gen 8-Apple, Tea, Cream, Perfume

This DLC is exactly the closure the franchise needed! The way 3 ended was a flop and this will completely redeem the ending of the trilogy!

I absolutely think there should be shrines again; it would be a good way to upgrade health/stamina/ammo and such.

Maybe have 8 large-scale dungeons with unique items/perks that help you traverse the world more, but definitely give the people a reason to explore the world!
