I didn’t buy any eShop games last month because they all looked like 💩

I just don’t have Qbby and the Monster Hunter line as well as the 2 turbo charged DKs

I cancelled my preorder due to underwhelming response to this game. Sad, considering Story of Seasons has been pretty good up until this.

Ok now we’re talking different companies.

Nintendo makes Zelda games, Game Freak makes Pokémon games.

BotW is not even an example of what the Switch can do, it was a ported Wii U title and that also irked off a number of people because it wasn’t “modern” or a “current Gen game”.

You’ve seen that complaint, I’m sure.

You’ve also seen people complain about Ruby because “too much water”.

Look bud, I’m not complaining about these games, others are. I buy a majority of Nintendo games knowing what I’m getting myself into, and I have a dang good time with every single one of them because I understand I’m the consumer and I make the adult decision to spend my money how I spend it on the recreational activities I enjoy. If I don’t enjoy it it’s my own dang fault, not anyone else’s.

I just don’t set myself up with unrealistic expectations before purchasing a game.

My aim here is simply to point out the entitled attitude of a minority gamers. I did the same last week during the Nintendo Direct.

I happen to personally enjoy Pokémon Sword and have clocked over 250 hours in it.

People’s expectations are over inflated. Period. Game Freak has a formula that works and has worked for the last quarter of a century.

20 million+ continue to buy their stuff.

What?! No one forces you to buy the game let alone both versions AND both DLC expansions. Are you out of your mind?

Just watch, Pokémon Legends set expectations in the minds of fans, if those expectations aren’t met fans will seek blood and give verbal retribution because they are seething over their unmet expectations. Watch.

No one will force them to buy this game either.
