Man, Nintendo can't seem to catch a break. Like DiscoGentleman said, they're damned if they do, damned if they don't. If you want the DLC, then buy it. If you think it's not worth it, then don't. Simple as that.

I appreciate that they let you buy for both for a reduced price. I'd really like Lucas and Majora's Mask.

Guess I'll just go for Ultimate NES Remix, seeing as I have the vast majority of what's available. Or maybe Mario Golf for something entirely different...

@FarsanBaloo: The only thing the C-Stick does is move Pit if you're left-handed. And unfortunately, that can't be changed either.

I would've put Kid Icarus: Uprising in there before Fire Emblem or Animal Crossing, but I guess that's just me.

My sister used to have Namco Museum for her GBA. I know I already have Galaga and Dig Dug downloaded on my Wii U, but I doubt that Ms. Pac-Man or Pole Position will get standalone releases.

@DarthNocturnal: Yeah, some updates wouldn't hurt. As for Mega Evolution, I can agree - it's the same principle, but they're unique in how they function.

Eh, I'm not going to jump on the hype train right now - I'm just going to enjoy what's on my 3DS and Wii U (and worry more about how to get amiibo figures before all the scalpers do).

I'm liking this trick a lot.

I'd say chances are that they're doing this like Star Wars or Indiana Jones - maybe a later release with all three films.

I might just be inclined to delete the DSiWare version of Risky's Revenge and pick up the Director's Cut.

@Porky: I clearly stated i'm trying to help my friends out - I have three friends who want the Gold Mario amiibo, and they don't have a lot of time between school and work. So I'm merely just looking to get a hold of them and they'll just pay me back what I payed. It's not the first time we've done this, and it probably won't be the last - these things are hard to obtain, and we're taking every advantage we can so we can actually collect them.

Well, I'm working the 20th, so I might just be lucky enough to snag one during my shift.

Only problem is trying to help out my friends - I got away with buying two Toon Links at once, but I might not be able to get away with four Gold Marios. Guess I'll just have to find out.

Well... considering I work at a Walmart, I just might be lucky to see one.

Figures...

I have to agree with people above - Ninrendo needs to focus more on stock than what games have compatibility. Granted, I like watching my troop of warriors have at it on Smash and earn goodies in the process, and I like getting random presents whenever I pop in Hyrule Warriors, but the main reason I got these was because the figures are just cool, period. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely willing to see what they can come up with, but you need the figures to actually do so.

I also kinda see the cards as a a double-edged sword too - definitely great for 3DS for on the go, but at the same time it feels like they're just more willing to give up on making more figures, which I really don't see as a good thing.

Let's see...

I picked Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, and Pikachu at GameStop on a midnight release for both Pokemon games last year.

Then I grabbed Fox in late November at the Walmart I work at, as there were only 3 left in the store.

I managed to find Zelda first at another GameStop and paid with store credit. Luigi, I ordered from Walmart.com with the money I got from SavingsCatcher. I then got Little Mac, Captain Falcon, and Pit as imports from Japan (a tad expensive, but I've been doing odd jobs like shoveling snow, and that does pay nicely). I got Diddy Kong from a guy in Missouri - which was hilarious when it arrived in a toaster box. My sister was bewildered trying to figure out why I'd be getting a toaster in the mail.

I then pre-ordered Bowser, Sheik, Toon Link, and Sonic from GameStop. Bowser arrived first, even before February, Sheik and Toon Link arrived around the middle of the month, and Sonic will finally get here tomorrow. I ordered Lucario from a seller in Japan on eBay (he really ships them fast and has them wrapped up nice for free shipping).

Then there was Rosalina... my friends managed to get ahold of their own at Target, whereas I ordered mine off of a Japanese seller on eBay (different than the other guy). It shipped around the same time as Lucario, but didn't arrive around the same time. Which got me paranoid. So I panicked and bought one off of a guy in Virginia. Had a good laugh when both arrived in the mail on the same day. But I wouldn't say I'm entirely out of luck with the Japanese one - it's still in its packaging and could come in handy.

I've now since pre-ordered PAC-MAN and Ness from some website, and Wario and Charizard from the amazon.uk site. And there's still 12 more I want to get when they get released.

Well... I can be working on Metroid Prime or Punch-Out!! anyway.

I couldn't care less if Tingle is gay, straight, or what-have-you. I just don't like the character, period.

So there is hope for my Sonic yet...

So I would just hit "No" on the screen that asks if I'm using a standard SD card, since I'm currently using a microSD card in an adapter. So once they're done transferring, I would just take my microSD card out of the adapter and just plug it into the New 3DS, no PC required. Am I understanding this right?

Can't wait to crack mine open on the 13th.

These better hit the US soon! I missed out on the Sonic Advance trilogy!

I already have a microSD card in an adapter in my current one. I know it'll take a long time to finish since I have 50 some Virtual Console games and a few retail titles, but I wonder if it'll be a tad simpler than through PC.

@SMBSS: But they can still get you stuff like trophies and custom parts and special moves - that's what I do on the Wii U! All profit while I watch them beat each other senseless!

Oughta be remaking Donkey Kong 64 since they seem bent on not putting it on Virtual Console.

Got an email yesterday telling me my Sonic was delayed. Toon Link and Sheik seem intact yet.

Well, I'm looking forward to this. Even though I just got the N64 version on Virtual Console for 250 Coins on Club Nintendo because I either had the majority of the games on offer, wasn't interested in certain ones or just didn't have enough coins.

At any rate, I do like seeing how games can change when remade, so I'll have my copy picked up after work on the 13th, and then I just have to wait for my New 3DS in the mail.

I appreciate that they keep on top of this stuff with the 3DS and Wii U. Even if it is a never-ending battle.

Well... I'm glad I don't do this kind of thing. Too complexicated.

@Deltadon: Tell me about it. I've imported Little Mac, Captain Falcon, Pit, Lucario, Rosalina, and Ike (for a friend) so far. 'Course, I do odd jobs around town during this time of year, so that's where that money's going.

Well, my friends DEFINITELY lucked out yesterday when they got their Rosalinas. I have mine ordered from Japan.

But this is beyond ridiculous.

I really wish they'd be more prepared for high traffic. I managed to get Doc Luis' Punch-Out!!, but I'm having a hard time trying to get Majora's Mask.

@Spade_the_prinny: You aren't. I'm not fond of this trend either. I'll gladly watch a movie, and I'll gladly play a video game. But I don't see much point in watching someone else play a game so they can profit and make a living off of it.

I'll snag the trilogy. Once I get a hard drive, since I lack enough room.

My friend lucked out there on getting his cartridge. I just got it digitally because I was deciding whether I should've gotten that or the Virtual Console version.

This'll probably get patched eventually. But I do hope this actually gets their butts in gear - Virtual Console just isn't as good on 3DS or Wii U since they take forever and a day to release games. Don't get me wrong - I love Virtual Console, period. It just seems like they're just not caring as much about it this time around, that's all.

I like the majority listed - especially Super Smash Bros., Kid Icarus: Uprising, Super Mario 3D World, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.

Got codes myself. I wasn't interested, but my friends'll get to enjoy it.

Gonna try me some Wii Punch-Out!!
