I'm fine with EXP share, but for the love of Arceus don't do single use TMs. I don't want to have to constantly switch between Diamond, Home and Sword just to get the movesets I want.

Eh, just four more save files for me to use, that's how I see it. Would like to do some backwards long jump shenanigans too depending on which version it is.

I thoroughly enjoyed putting this set together. Took me 7 hours and 7 minutes. I also really love the small details built into the mini-dioramas. And the interactivity with the Mario figure is pretty sweet too!

I had this argument the other day about the new Metroid not having an easy mode. Personally I argued that not every single game needs an easy mode; if I'm playing Donkey Kong Country, or Crash Bandicoot, or Demon's Souls, I expect a challenge. And this is coming from someone who's handicapped himself. I've learned that there's some things I just can't do, some things just aren't handicap compatible, and that's okay. Not every video game is going to be accessible; as mentioned above some genres are just built in a way that require better timing and precision.

With that being said, I do agree that more options should be available, at least on the console's base level. More of those specially designed controllers would be a huge benefit to several players. But not every single game needs an easy mode. That's just the way I see it.

@jsty3105: Switch games aren't "the older games", now are they? Obviously I know that would be piracy.

That being said, I hadn't realized right away that this guy put the ROMs behind a paywall and was selling Switch ROMs. My mistake on that one. It's just that every time I see an article about Nintendo shutting down/suing a rom site I usually think it's them yet again throwing a fit about people hosting their older content that they could be providing to their userbase, be it paid or otherwise. Again, my bad.

Irreparable harm? Can't be harmed if you're not selling the older games to begin with...

Well, I'm definitely going to enjoy that Steam Deck when mine comes in. Nintendo keeps making me feel less guilty about emulating games that are no longer available.

My philosophy always was "If they make it available, I'll pay for it." If they don't, and they have the ability to, but still complain, I have no sympathy for them. They're actively shooting themselves in the feet and asking why they bleed. I like Nintendo, but man they make very dumb decisions regarding their legacy content.

@Snatcher To this day I still question how I managed to complete that level three times over without dying to get a measly 10 gamerscore. The boiler room was the hardest part for me.

Since then (to me at least) they haven't made a final level able to top Eggmanland in terms of sheer difficulty and length. The only one that's impressed me since is Titanic Monarch, and that's mainly due to the atmosphere and music (gameplay's not bad, I just didn't find it that challenging).

Might have to get this to go with the other one.

At this point I'd just be glad to get one without paying scalper prices.

Never heard of any of these. Might be willing to give Spanky's Quest a try. They are really adamant about not putting RPGs on here for some reason.

Might go for it since I've been a fan since it aired on TV, but not for $30. I do give them props for eradicating the microtransactions though.

If all it's offering is a bigger screen with higher resolution, I'm more than content with the red Mario Switch I just bought over Valentine's Day weekend. While it does have a warm color palette, it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

Even being handicapped (right leg amputee) I find that most exercises can be done, even squatting in place. Low squats suck though.

@AJDarkstar: I noticed that myself. Seems like you can purchase Sephiroth early, and if you beat him in his challenge you can play as him early, play on his stage and access the extra music and his Classic Mode route. They seem to be saving the Mii costumes and spirit board for next week.

Oh look, the costume ones I'll never get since the gacha element is crap. At least I have the Aurora one.

I do like playing this game, but that's the worst part of it, alongside some tracks requiring those rare high-end characters to get 3 items per box to get a good score.

I finally caved last week and just got the starter set for the Mario figure to go with the NES. I have to say it's pretty nifty, but I'm probably not grabbing the rest of the sets. Unless Bowser's Castle goes on clearance for cheap at my store, then I might grab that one.

I don't play Smash online mainly because satellite internet just isn't optimal. Can't even load the online portion. That being said it's still alright for Pokemon raids and Animal Crossing.

Well, my friend and I are happy our two kings (K. Rool and Dedede, respectively) got buffed.

I can still hear the Nintendo rep at work telling me My Nintendo getting a huge overhaul after the online service launches. Still makes me laugh. And cry.

I like it so far, even if I can't find keys to advance. Only thing I don't like is Steve's head poking out from the top of Pac-Man's head.

I remember discovering it on accident when playing the GBA port.

While I rarely play online to begin with (it's usually just against friends sparingly) and that's decreased further with satellite internet (not fast enough for Smash to connect for a match) I can understand the annoyance big time. It's a service that we have to pay for, and it's getting more and more lackluster, between this, not updating the NES/SNES app regularly (still waiting on the DKC trilogy, EarthBound, Super Mario RPG and Super Mario All-Stars) and as mentioned a bunch of other stuff either not available or needing an app. It's pretty much a joke at this point.

@Chibi_Manny Don't feel so bad. I'm still kicking myself over missing the Cuphead spirits.

The original Lego Star Wars was what got me interested in Star Wars, and I've loved the first three games (the original, The Original Trilogy, and especially The Complete Saga) since. While i don't have the highest hopes for the newest film, I'm still picking this new game up. Lego games are usually pretty fun and hilarious.

I'd still say my favorite cutscene was when Vader was telling Luke he was his father by using a Polaroid.

I saw right after midnight (ET) a notification popped up in the top-left corner of the screen similar to when your friends go online. I wonder if they'll implement similar notes when doing maintenance on other games.

I still remember when my friend showed me Sonic Adventure 2 ten years ago. Still one of my all-time favorites. And I'm hoping that we could get it on Switch.

With this I'm kinda hoping Kratos gets in to Smash. It'd be cool to swap between the Leviathan Axe and the Blades of Chaos

I actually discovered a way to soft-lock the game last night. Turns out you can do it by hitting a message block with two eggs in succession.

I was hoping they'd update the app with that feature, I just didn't think they'd do it so quick.

Guess I'll see if I double dip. Wish they would've made it known a while ago...

@Ventilator: When I started Doom 2 last night it auto-signed in on my Switch.

I was wondering why I went from 619 to 640 points on my profile the other day.

Either way, they should've been more clear about this, and it's good that they're patching it.

You guys know what's worse? If you put it into sleep mode and then wake your Switch back up, the game feels the need to pop up a message every other minute to tell you it's not connected. I had to reboot the game to get it to stop doing that.

@gamer95: I saw his endless mantra on the post about the lawsuit. "Take better care of your hardware" was the only thing he was really capable of saying.

With his kind of attitude, I can understand why his YouTube views would be so low. Probably also upset that he'll never hit the big time as a Let's Player.

Gotta love when people (or at least one person) have an answer for everything.

I'm not contacting these guys, but my left joy-con drifted last year. And so did its replacement (which was preowned, but still). Eventually I caved and got the original fixed. I hope if this doesn't go to court, that it at least serves as a wake-up call and have Nintendo take action. I love the company, but man they make stupid decisions sometimes.
