I got best buy's GCU so I get 20% off all new games & toys to life. so stuff it eShop. It might be more of a hassle using retail copy, but at least on vacations if I want to bring my U i no need to bring external Hard drive, plus my copy's are cheaper than MSRP at launch and beyond!

I'd like LE 3DS XL's of the past to get face pates at least the one of the pikachu XL. would 10/10 buy 50 of dat... well at least 2...

@TheAceofMystery lol theres a Yu-Gi-Oh card like this from the make a wish foundation, some guy wished to have a card designed or something, so theres only 1 in circulation and it has similar effects to the "flame wingman".

there's 2 copies of the cards though coz konami has a copy of every card at least x1 stored some where apparently... but only 1 for the public. The card is also tournament legal, not sure about these but they could just be card varrents. like an existing card but with new artwork.

@ROB98374 not true. Japan has OR/AS models with exclusive face plates and 3DS themes included

Also I looked up the NA plates none of them are Exclusive to the N3DS bundle in other regions.

I'm downgrading from a pikachu 3DS XL that needs upgrading for a few issues that have started popping up, screen size downgrade will be worth it once I get my hands on the pikachu party theme...

the MH4 XL came with the full game inside, so no eShop exclusive theme.

@Ayronom you can open up some stuff with an app open like miiverse and the eShop but your mostly correct, heck most of the stuff you can semi multitask when playing with a game take almost no resources of the system.

I'm not sure why you'd want to eShop when a game is open but whatever floats your boat i guess?
