I get that they are a small developer but they shouldn't take backers money on kickstarer if aren't going to dedicate dev resources to their stated timeline and then come out condescending to them about not promising updates at all. Maybe when it comes out it will be great game to play but already too late for this to be anything more than another Kickstarter cautionary tale.
I think it is a pricing problem. $200 is still a lot when your family could instead share a docking Switch, or other console. If they can hit $150 or lower, i think it would sell better as one per child.
Something is off here. This article looks to be written by a regular user and his account was created about a week before the Sw&Sh reveal in Feb. I suspect PR firm shenanigans. NL this is not ok. Take this garbage article down.
The constant online requirement to earn in-game currency even in single player ruins the experience. I wont buy games that do that on principle. They must be planning to add microstransactions after reviews are out because it makes no sense as is.
Dont give these imposter HM any airtime. This article is such a waste of effort and that game is garbage. Just ignore them and realize HM is no more but its the spirit will live on with the games thay it inspired.
I dont think i like the fixed view, isometric over world. I would perfer more open world with a mix of the 2d sections. That has its challenges but this is a too different a game.
Definitely interested. I would enjoy the turn based combat but not so sure about the sneaking sections which is probably a lot of it for the spy story. Those are always infurating more than fun.
This seems like such a cop out. Why not include them as unlockables for multiplayer and they could still have the sonic only roster for adventure mode. This game seems better than expected but still too limited an offering to consider it.
They made the right decision to fit the game on the cartridge. As @telepathy2000 says, i would have skipped it as well. They could have compressed it to a blurry mess but i would still perfer it out and all the game on the cart.
I was interested in Chicken Wiggle because a host of Talk Nintendo podcast was one person working on the redone music and seems like a fun concept. I was really hoping it would have a chance getting out before Mario Maker 2. This is disappointing and agree the company needs a real management overhaul as keep making terrible business decisions.
Maybe it is a physical version announcement. Hopefully a full collection of the SteamWorld games on one cartridge. I think the WiiU had one so not totally out there. Right now only Dig 2 as physical release on Switch.
I think at this point they should just go all silly comedy and actually address the weird version in the movie. Like the first time he sees Sonic its the weird looking one and then Sonic goes back to normal look from games and Sonic says he was trying to blend in as a human or something. Then if they can't change every shot, they can joke he keeps getting that weird look again and add the other characters saying stop doing that it just scary and doesn't help blending in.
Looks fun. Not getting all the negativity. A passion project from someone who loves Zelda games at a buget price. Nintendo Life comments used to be more positive but now getting dragged down the drain to the rest of the web.
I was on all onboard until the gameplay went all zany. A few power ups were cool but the crazy cow stuff and UFO total wrecking the game is too much for me. You need to maintain some sporting and baseline game rules or the appeal ends for me.
I saw turned based RPG and got really excited but the card system is a real downer. From the comments, I am glad I am not alone there. Good some people are really excited and wish it the best.
EA needs the full engine to render all their loot boxes. Without it consumers may see through their gaming charade and realize it is just gambling targeting kids.
Poor list and silly article geared only toward cheap clicks. I stopped reading with Wii and NES being below WiiU. GC and WiiU really hurt Nintendo regardless of them having good games.
Looks really interesting. I would be down for some XCOM-like game play. I am still holding hope for XCOM 2 somehow making it to Switch with a decent port.
@Moroboshi876 it is getting a broader release through Best Buy. Can pre-order it now. I purchased it from Limited Games in August and looking forward to receiving it soon.
I was looking forward to this with a big nostalgia place in my heart. Sad its not coming but most likely I would have been disappointed with missing games due to licensing or games really not aging well.
Too bad. I was excited but cautious when announced because of 2K's track record. It shouldn't be full price if not the full game. May pick it up on super sale down the road.
Hopefully EA will double and triple down on streaming games and then when it fails it finally takes them down. Their game talent will do better elsewhere and their executives can follow their passion and go run casinos marketed to kids.
Initial hype had me on this but quickly faded with the more coming out on it. Cheaping out with a smaller card on $75 dollar game is just wrong. Also, not a fan of the game being geared for making additional purchases for weapons and ships.
Not doing it for me. Love Mark Hamill and voice cast are great but Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 was fairly lackluster so I may just be over Lego games. Although I keep eyeing Harry Potter collection.
Not surprised with the low score. I found this game unenjoyable on IOS to point of refunding it. Going in I imagined I would be designing innovative escape plans with advanced puzzle-level crafting. But crafting was extremely limited and frustrating. I eventually look up its craft-able items and they are not common items that you would think of. Not a good puzzler for me.
@Yoshi Ok cool. The ability to play off cloud saves and manually force it, will solve the account owner playing on two different Switches. I am curious how they handle conflicts but maybe it makes the user pick one file but both save files are there.
Interesting but how will cloud saves work with this? I would think I could pickup where I last saved on the other console but they aren't spelling that out so maybe there is a big lag that makes that delayed. I wonder what happens if primary console is offline playing and save file is updated by secondary, when both saves are sent to cloud does it choose one and erase the other? I can see this causing issues even if just the case where own two Switches that sometimes aren't online. If the save files are completely different between the two that be odd and defeat purpose of having account on secondary.
At first glance, I thought this was one of the Arkham action series and got super excited. I have missed those so would absolutely love those to make it to Switch. These Telltale games don't do much for me.
Because it's Nintendo and Online, I see the next thing we will hear on this is that it also deletes the game locally and all your saves data for you not getting online every 7 days.
@kcook33 ok cool. I emailed them to ask about it but haven't heard back. Do you know if I have to select that somewhere or they just see your address is US?
Would this by the European version, so online only uses their servers? I am in the US so worried online matches be too flaky and play times wouldn't line up.
I think it's irresponsible to give credence to this micro transaction trap. The review copies were the anniversary edition that came with in-game currency worth $100+ real money that bypasses much of the grind so I find that extremely deceitful to the buyer. It is as bad as F2P but costs $60 with its whole existence geared to inducing additional purchases.
