" it will have the Switch 1 and Switch 2 versions on the cart!"
is this a switch 1 or a switch 2 cart, then?
if it's a switch 1 cart with a switch 2 game on it, what's the point of a switch 2 cart? and, what is the point of a game key card over a (presumably cheaper?) switch 1 cart?
if it's a switch 2 cart with a switch 1 game, then I simply didn't know switch 2 carts could be played on switch 1, but also it kind of upends some downstream assumptions i'd made as well.

it's been a long time, but here's what I remember about triforce heroes:
first off, I was still a Nintendo fan, with no asterisk. they were different times! ๐
my wife and I both had 2DSes, and I bought us both a copy of this thinking we'd have fun working through the dungeons together.
Nope! turns out this is the world's first and to my knowledge only 1 OR 3 player game! and since I'd already opened them, they couldn't be returned.
I was pretty bummed. I still haven't played that game and I can't imagine how or when we would have a third person around to play through it together.
really odd. how much more appealing would a TWO player co op Zelda game be? I mean really.
