I remember first hearing that Nintendo's handheld and console game development divisions would be fusing into one and thinking, wow that means the Switch will have twice the amount of Nintendo games released! Boy was that a silly thought.

Missed opportunity by not featuring music from the band Descendents.

Was really looking forward to this on the Switch but I am so thankful for the open beta because this has confirmed I will be buying the Xbox One version instead. Playing with the joycons felt awful. I hear you can use a Gamecube controller to get access to analog triggers, but if I am going to have to dock it to play with proper controls anyway, I will just use an Xbox controller. Plus the 60fps and graphics.

I also like the idea of the F.L.U.D.D. weapon and Isle Delfino integrated into Splatoon with the inclusion of a new game mode where one team lays down ink and the other team has to clean it up.

Here's what I would like (somewhat expect) to see:
+Mario Golf World Tour- Wii U (I believe this is why they have left golf out of the new M&S Olympics game for Wii U)
+Super Mario Maker- Story Mode and Amiibo Support Details
+Star Fox (gamepad accessory bundled with game that allows you to dock the gamepad onto it and use it as a yoke for steering)
+Preview of a new Zelda title for 3DS using the existing Link Between World engine
+Splatoon for NEW 3DS (with functions that work between WII U and 3DS)
+New Club Nintendo name and membership program details. Subscription Service?

and some Pipe Dreams:
+Lego Nintendo World! (sandbox style game where you can do anything)
+Amiibo Land game using all Amiibo as playable characters
+Dr. Mario Miracle Cure for IOS ( I know they stated IOS games won't be revealed at E3, but this one has to be one of the firsts when they do)

As well as many other surprises! Bring it ON!

I hope that at the end of the day someone got to go home with a glowing piece of the radical rock!

I was six years old then and I would have died to be there. Anyone think about how this is going into tie into the news that Universal Studios is going to have Nintendo attractions?

@shani Because the whole framework is there. Why wouldn't the developers create their own levels using the existing development tools already in the game? It wouldn't make sense to just throw you into the game without any levels to play from the start.

No doubt that a new Super Mario Bros. game will be bundled into Mario Maker. I would bet that you will need to advance through the main game to unlock features for the editor.

I cannot wait to see what else Nintendo has up their sleeve.

Guess this is why there is that Kung Fu Panda reference in Ribbon Road on the new MK DLC.

Finally got mine at Gamestop a few days ago for $19.99. I saw they had about 10 of them in a drawer.

Really looking forward to this game. If you want to voice chat, just call your friend and put it on speaker while you play. It's as simple as that.

I really expected some information about Nintendo's new rewards/ membership program which will replace Club Nintendo. (If there will be one at all)

Going to get DKCTF. Been wanting to play this. Although, all of the money I save getting the game for free will be spent buying a new external hard drive. The file size for DKC is nuts.

Just finished it. It's a great little game, but could definitely use a bit more content.

Elliot quest looks like fun, but I'm gonna grab Xeodrifter while it's on sale.

The Wii U is such a strange/unique console and I love it. I just got the MarioKart bundle last year and look forward to years to come of new games. Not to mention all of the back catalog I have yet to play.

This will only strengthen their brand image. Most of my friends who are 30 somethings grew up loving Nintendo just like I do. Although, most of them will not go out and spend $200-$300 to play a Nintendo IP. But they all carry around iPhones and would love to play some Mario or Zelda games on it. This is a huge nostalgia market Nintendo has been missing out on. I'm excited for what is to come!

Great game, I am addicted. Although, the daily grind contests on my 3ds are failing to load correctly. Has anyone else had this issue?

It would be great to see some retro Mario style Amiibo for Mario Maker. Is Amiibo plural? Is it Amiibos? Amiibi? Amiibosen? Anyway, a Super Mario World SNES style Mario Amiibo would be rad.

Been looking forward to playing Olli Olli on my 3DS. Bonus I can also play on Wii U. There is a serious lack of skateboarding games nowadays and I hear this one is actually pretty good. Come on indie devs, let's get a T&C Surf Design remake going!!!

Is a Legend of Zelda Wii U line of Amiibo a possibility? I wouldn't be surprised.
