Here's what I will be playing this weekend.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (Switch) Finished of the Gerudo Desert so now I will be heading to Hyrule Castle. This is turning into one of my favorite Zelda games.

Forza Horizon 2 (Series X) Still in the Forza Horizon mood. I am really enjoy this one and can see why its regarded as one of the best in the series.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Still working on this one.

Final Fantasy Pixal Remaster (Series X) Picking this one up after not playing it for a bit. I finished the Marsh Cave and got the crown back. Not to wake the elven prince.

@NeonPizza I may have Mega Man 9 on my Wii somewhere I just would have to dig it out lol. I do also have Legacy 2 on the Switch I just have to get around to it. I played the demo of Mega Man 11 on the Xbox and it just felt off although I heard that the PC and Switch versions feel alot better. That's another game I need to get to.

@NeonPizza So I have heard. I do have both Lagecy Collections but I only played Mega Man 2 and 3 and after the issues with those I didnt even bother to play the rest.

@NeonPizza Yeah I cant play the Mega Man games on the Lagecy Collection. I heard 9 and 10 arent bad but I havent played them yet. It just irks me that the only way I can enjoy the Mega Man games is then original hardware. It seems they always mess something up with the collections, who could forget the button swap catastrophe on the Gamecube Mega Man Anniversary Collection.

Yeah the TMNT one was alot better which I have played a few times. I heard about the MK problems but didnt know about the Steam version. Yeah I will be getting a Steam Machine when they become available so I will probably pick up the MK Collection then.

@Spider-Kev @Gamebits That was done by Wayforward and not Capcom so it makes sense why that isnt on the collection.

@NeonPizza Same. I will be picking this up and it will be one of the few Physical games I will get. I just hope it isn't a lagfest like Mega Man Lagecy Collection is.

Definitely keeping my eye on this.

Nintendo at it again with their censorship. Was wanting to get this on the Switch but I guess I will be getting on PC. Lost yourselves a sale Nintendo and I am sure I am not the only one.

I own this on both PS4 and Series X but it would be nice to have it on a Nintendo console as long as its not a lagfest like the Mega Man collections.

Forza Horizon 2 (Series X) After the announcement of FH6 it put me in tbe mood to play a Forza Horizo so I decided to play 2 this weekend.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Continuing on with the Bounty of Blood DLC.

He definitely has deserved it.

Sadly I dont get paid till next week and by then the sale will be over.

@Zuljaras Agree. I hope they havent cancelled the upcoming HoMM game. I was looking forward to that after playing the demo.

Well I just lost a lot of respect for this guy. Hasbro is a cancer that needs to be eliminated. Just look how they handle the Dungeon and Dragons brand. Such an iconic brand and now it is a mere laughing stock in the TTRPG world.

Maybe it was a good idea for Nintendo to move on from him.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (Switch) Continuing with my progress now that I am done exploring as much of the overworld tbat I can I am about to enter tbe Jabu Waters Rift.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Still working on the Bounty of Blood DLC. This is probably my favorite of the DLC for this game.

Final Fantasy Pixal Remaster (Series X) Still on my nostalgia kick with this one. I am about to enter the Marsh Cave to get the crown.

That is video game wise. TTRPG I am planning to pick up our Daggerheart campaign this weekend where we left off last week.

I have the Zen Pro Controller from them for my Switch and I love it. Best third party controller I enjoyed ever owned right after the Wavebird.

Yawn. I am tired of them changing the actress for Lara every couple of years. They need to pick one and stick with it.

@NeonPizza I remember renting both Ducktales 2 and Chip N Dale 2 back in the day and not being impressed with them. In fact I use to own a C.I.B. copy of Chip N Dale 2 that I bought from that same video store for $5. That was till I lost it in a fire a few years ago.

Talespin was alright especially if you liked side scroller shooters. I remember beating that game once when I was a teenager. And as for Darkwing its just a Mega Man clone really. If I want to play it I'd just sooner play Mega Man 2 or 3.

I have the collection for both PS4 and Xbox and yeah its just doesnt feel right playing with a PS4 or Xbox Controller. I guess a person can play it on PC and get a USB NES type controller for that more traditional feeling but still even those feel off.

@NeonPizza the thing that scares me with these is that we will end up with the Disney Afternoon Lag Collection, like they did with the Mega Man "Lag"ecy Collection on Switch.

Yeah its what I suspected not much for 2025. I played two games for 24 hours total time. 1 hour on SNES Classics and 23 on Dragon Quest XI S.

Which is why 2026 I am dedicating more time on my Switch.

Nothing really for me this round. Thats fine though I am still playing through Echoes of Wisdom.

No big lost really. I havent been in a Gamestop for years. Mine have become more of a novelty store then a gaming store. They are full of crap like Funko Pops, T-shirts, toys and other non games and have all their games shoved in one little corner of the store.

If I do buy games from a brick and mortar place I go to places like my local game store.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Picked this one up again. Started the next DLC, Bounty of Blood: A Fistfull of Redemption. So far I am enjoying the western them of the planet.

Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Continuing with my journey. Just got to the town with a Circus in it.

@Anti-Matter Why do you have to trun every Switch 2 article into a debate of physical vs digital. I get it you dont like digital but stop derailing the comment section and baiting people into arguments.

I honestly forgot that you can access Hulu on the Switch. Of course I have so many other ways to access Hulu so that's maybe why I forgot.

Dammit. I just started Echoes of Wisdom as well as in the middle of Dragon Quest XI S. Now I am going to have to find time to play this.

Its going to be a Switch weekend for me this weekend as one of my gaming goals is to finish more games this year on my Switch.

Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Just got to the city with the circus and horse races. Right now I am just trying to craft better weapons and armor for my group.

Echoes of Wisdom (Switch) Still getting use to this game. On one hand it feels great to play a new 2D Zelda game. On the other I am slowing getting use of the lack of direct combat.

Outside of video games. I recently started playing in a Daggerheart campaign so I will be playing that as well.

Pulled the trigger on Echoes of Wisdom. It feels good to play a 2D Zelda again. I might pick a few more games up before the sale ends.

Saw this in my feed Last night while.I was watching random YouTube videos. Will check it out tonight.

Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Just got Veronica and Serena and now preparing to leave for the next area.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion (Series X) My son and I are really enjoying this game alot.

Terminator 2D (Series X) Just finished the first play through such an awesome game. Now I am going to replay it and select the other choices I had.

For me its Final Fight on the SNES. Yeah there are better versions of it on other consoles but the SNES version was the first one I played. I got it for Christmas along with my SNES ane Super Mario World back in 91 I want to say. I remember the first time I popped that cartridge in and was blown away by those graphics. From that day forward every Christmas I play it, that same cartridge too. Today I will be playing it on my Analogue Super NT.

Will be picking up Echos of Wisdom when I get off of work this evening.

Shocking to hear this news. One of the most creative minds the video game world had. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I kinda wonder what will happen to the Battlefield series now.

The problem is companies are going to use it despite what people say/do. So in the end result I am just punishing myself from playing a great game. Yeah it sucks for the human artists they let go but its they way the business is going.

@canaryfarmer It was an exclusive for Xbox for a year or so. At the time I didnt own an Xbox so I never played it.

Might actually get the third one as that is the only one I didnt play due to the controversy at launch. I did enjoy the other two though.

Have to get to NA this week. There is just something about the iconic Black Box games.

Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Just met Veronica and getting ready to set out and find her sister.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (PC) Been in the mood to replay this awesome game.

I am enjoying this game alot. The only complaint I have is I want more characters especially the well known ones. I was surprised not to find Thor or Hulk in the game or even Deadpool. Maybe its some kind of rights issue but I was hoping for a large cast like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Hopefully we get more characters via DLC like they did with Shredder's Revenge but otherwise its a fantastic game.

@babybilly They had an article on this site about a year or two ago saying that he said he was done with Stardew and was going to work on his next game.

Lol I thought he was done with Stardew Valley.

I feel like we have had this one before. Anyway I gotta go with the NA as due to the fact that they finally got a great Mega Man cover.

@Zuljaras Oh yeah without a doubt. SotN will always have a special place in my heart, but the DS Castlevanias are my favorite, well Dawn of Souls and Portrait of Ruin anyway I have never played the other one.

I really liked the two hero mechanic in PoR it really added another level to the puzzles and such.

@Zuljaras Portrait is my favorite of the DS Castlevanias. I just love the characters and the fact that its a sequel to my favorite 16 bit Castlevania.

Terminator 2D (Series X) Finally the Terminator game I have been waiting for.

Mutant Football League 2 (Series X) Loved the first game. Can't wait to start this one.
