Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (21st March)

Tasuki

This weekend I am looking to finally finish up a few games that I have been playing for awhile.

Forza Horizon 2 (Series X) Just need to finish 2 more championships to get to the Horizon Finale. I am not quite sure if thats the end or what since I never played this game but it sounds like it to me and if it is I will be putting this game to bed.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Looking to wrap up this game as well. Right now I am doing Krieg"s DLC and quite possibly my favorite but then again Kreig is my favorite BL character.

Retro Rewind (Steam) Been hearing about this game alot and it interested me quite alot. A video store sim in the 90's sign me up.

Thats all for me this weekend I hope everyone has good weekend and happy Spring to us Northern Hemispherers.

@NeonPizza Can't wait for this game. You are right about Skeletor in the 80s movie he was the best thing that that movie had going for it. To be honest though, I havent seen that movie since I was a kid and back then I was disappointed in it. I dont know, I maybe as a kid I expected a one to one of the cartoon. I remember being so excited for it too. Maybe one of these days I will find a copy on DVD and watch it.

Diablo II Ressurected (Steam) Loving the Warlock class and reallying.enjoy this game. Should have played it alot.sooner.

Re: Anniversary: The Legend Of Zelda Turns 40 Today - How Did You First Play It?

Tasuki

The first Zelda game I played was Zelda II The Advemture of Link. My dad bought it for my brother and I because of the commercial. Oddly enough I never owned the original Legend of Zelda as a kid I rented it a few times and played it at friend's houses. I never owned it actually till I got a Gamecube and got the Zelda Pack which had OoT, Zelda 1 and Zelda II and a demo for Wind Waker on it.

Re: Poll: What's Your Favourite Gen 1 Pokémon?

Tasuki

So many to choose from but I will always go with my first Pokémon ever Bulbsaur. I remember when I first picked up Pokémon Red my friend picked up blue and my girlfriend at the time got red also. I chose Bulbasaur and he picked Squirtle while she picked Charmander. All three of us played and traded till we all had all of the Pokémon. Because of that I will always have a soft spot for Bulbasaur.

@Vriess Far Cry Primal is such an underrated game in the series. The Who prehistoric setting is so refreshing and unique.

As for classic Mega Man games I would stay away from the Lag-acy collection. I dont know what they did but the lag is so bad in those games so much so that it just throws the whole timing off for alot of the games especially in stages like Air Man's. Mega Man just feels like for those collections he decided to throw on a pair of weighted underpants. Its even to the point where at some points its just unplayable. My suggest find yourself the originals on NES and play them that way you will thank me. Now Mega Man 9 and 10 on the Lag-gecy collection from what I have heard arent bad since many claim they are actually ports of the Wiiware games but any others you need to play the originals.

@Zuljaras To be honest its been years since I played Diablo 2 and really it wasnt that much. I played a ton of the original Diablo on the Playstation when I was a teenager and of course I played Diablo 3 alot, its actually my most played game on the Switch. Since 2 was always stuck on PC for so long I just never got around to it much and since most of my friends didnt have PCs it was always home consoles of Diablo we would play wether it would be Diablo 1 or one of the countless ports of Diablo 3.

I have played through Diablo Immortal as well and once you get past all the mobile shenanigans its not that bad of a Diablo game.

As for Warlocks they have always intrigued me. I cant tell you how many Warlocks I have played in WoW and I have even played a few in Dungeons and Dragons. When Diablo 2 said that they were coming out with one I figured this would be the best time to fully play D2. And yes I will probably try the Lock in Immortal and D4 as well when they come.

Re: Limited Run Games Is Bringing NES 'Jaws' To Switch Later This Week

Tasuki

@Don But if you look there's no details about it. Yeah they have a new prequel called Crystal Lake coming to Peacock but its a prequel, more along the lines of what the original creator intended. He never intended for Jason Vorhees to be a hockey maked slasher which is where the problem is. Any and all reference to Jason Vorhees as that can't be done unless the original creator says its ok he has gone on record saying thats not Jason. Thats what the new game was pulled thats why we dont see any new movies coming. Yeah I suppose they could rerelease the NES game but they would have to remove all references to Pamela and Jason Vorhees and that wouldn't be the same sadly.

Re: Limited Run Games Is Bringing NES 'Jaws' To Switch Later This Week

Tasuki

@sportymariosonicmixx Its very complicated. Basically the original creator sued saying that he had the rights and he never ok'd any of the stuff after the first move. He basically has said that the characters were only for the first movie and nothing more and that everything after that was made without his consent and Jason Vorhees is his property and not what he has become and because of that wants everything after the original movie erased.

Re: Limited Run Games Is Bringing NES 'Jaws' To Switch Later This Week

Tasuki

@Don Friday the 13th is alot more complicated then Jaws. The original writer claims owns the rights to it but then the studio says they do its a complete mess thats all tangled up in the courts right now. So until its sorted out there wont be any more Friday the 13th anything. Even rereleases of older stuff.
