This studio is very Nintendo in many ways, Nintendo should pick them up honestly while allowing them to do whatever wacky stuff they want

Never played but I would be down for it!

They should give different small IPs like punch-out, ice climbers, mothers and other Smash characters old IPs that they will probably never touch again to indie studios to experiment with, so if it fails, it is just a small ip and if it succeed, the Switch will have another cool exclusive in the backlog

It will be a nice way for them to use their older IPs, help indie studios and get exclusives

I hope it will do good, the 3ds is a great system, but by now, not a lot of people buying games for it

I might bite for some games, but my backlog is already big, especially now that epic games create a backlog for the computer as well (it’s raining free games!)

Pokémon sale are more than the game deserves.... as someone who bough at least one game every gen since gen 3 and played of course played the first 2 gens

@OorWullie I have the 2 first games (I bought the second today, but I don’t see the 3rd as free game....

Monolith is not the only studio working at the game (teams from Nintendo biggest studio, Nintendo themselves, are working on this game as well) and Monolith have 5 studios working on at least 4 or 5 games while 2 or 3 of those are still unknown

They are always on the look out for developers and they opened their new studio only few months ago, this hiring doesn’t have to be Zelda related at all

Star Wars is somehow losing money right now, Marvel comics collapsing and their movie will make less from now on (probably.... idk), the theme park losing their momentum as it seems and less people are coming And merch sales are falling for many Disney properties
Not hating on Disney, I love many franchises including Star Wars and Marvel and many of their own movies

Today in the US and in Japan kids know Mario before they know Mickey

Nintendo grew significantly in the last 2 years with new game studio+ increasing their teams, movies and tv shows, building 2 them parks, opening Physical and digital stores to increase the brand and the company stuff grew significantly as they hired about 1000 people in the last year or so....

And they have tones of money to invest to grow now, Disney is light years ahead of them in size of course but they are working hard to grow now

@BarefootBowser Nintendo is a business and most of their products is made in China (not all of it, but a lot) including most of the Switch systems

They, like most big companies, are deeply involved in China anyway

I bought this stock a while back at a bad time because I thought it will rise to the 60$ fast but than some big shark started shorting and I didn’t have much extras money to ride on the short....

To many games I am yet to play to buy more rn lol

I loved Pokémon all my life, started playing in gen 3 and of course later played the previous generations and every gen after

This is the first time I am considering not buying the games, and I was super hyped until the e3 2019....

@Crockin because the are cheap! This is the biggest franchise in the world!
Game freak is rich AF! And they are backed up by Creatures and Nintendo!
Smaller budget games have those features, most of the game assents were copied from gen 7, and come on, loading the characters before you see them is a basic of the basic

We are in 2019, not 1996

The hardcore only want a high quality game with all the Pokémon, we want NPCs to load before we see them and not appearing out of thin air because this look just bad

I decided to not buy the game at lunch like planned as a kind of temporary wallet voting
For the first time ever since gen 3 (were I started with the games) I am considering to not even buying this one at all, the price went up but as it seems, the quality and passion went down.... I will see once the reviews are up (never thought I would say that on a Pokémon game.... sigh 😔 )
