Still a day one for me as I have been dying for a new Mario Golf but man this review is a letdown :/

So I assume you get TH1 on cart and then have to download TH2?

This game did have a learning curve and for some (even myself at times) it gets confusing. Overall though I encourage anyone who's interested to PLAY THIS GAME. I fell in love with it after the first level. I sunk about 125 hours into it and did some of the post game stuff. This game can be extremely difficult post game but overall it's a great game and was def on my top 5 list of last year.

I mean I don’t agree with a handful of these but can’t we all just enjoy Sonic’s anniversary? Like damn some of y’all are salty. Not all the games are winners but I think we all can agree we love the blue blur!

I wrote Nintendo as a kid for a 4th grade project. I asked them about how to unlock Mewtwo and Mr. Game & Watch for smash bros melee. They did reply! It was pretty cool as a 4th grader to get a note from Nintendo. I do agree with most though, there are plenty of genderless Pokemon.

@John_Deacon The Master Sword trial is not for the faint of heart... it's incredibly difficult. I'd say it's worth it.

If you are considering playing this game, DO IT! I LOVED this game and with the farming and everything I thought, nah def not my type of game. I originally purchased it because of the solid reviews and the rarity of it. I fell in love instantly and the farming is actually pretty straight forward. Seriously, do yourself a favor and pick it up. I thought Xseed had copies available on their website.

Anyone played the Famicom game? I've never a played a game like that before but the reviews have peaked my interest.

This is exactly why I got out of collecting… it’s become a business, no longer a hobby. With social media and some “bigger fish” collecting what they call “modern art”… it’s become impossible for everyday people to collect what they love. Sold my whole collection to put a down payment on a house… there’s more to life than price gouging cartoon cardboard

@AndyC_MK I see your point but if you packaged it differently like the PS4 and PS5 you might be able to make it work.

Nintendo could do so much to take on the likes of MS and Sony (not saying they're not already). Imagine this... They have Switch, Switch lite and a Switch Pro. The Pro still has all the same games but more games geared towards the "hardcore" fans. Then you beef up the online capabilities with things like voice chat, party chat, etc. THEN you create a monthly subscription to the "NintendoVault" (aka Gamepass but only for Nintendo titles) where you can play a variety of older games that change monthly. This is the world I one day want to live in...

@Gamer_Griff Yeah some games I double dip but for the most part I will try to get the game physical if I can. If it's a collectors edition of an indie I'm usually on board haha but some are digital only. I'm happy with the mix!

@rockodoodle true but at that point I could potentially resell a physical game.. there's pros and cons to each which is why I tend to keep a balance of both. Some I double dip too

@Bret Pokemon Snap is good, I don't know if I'd call it a great game. I think people just want more from Nintendo. Mario Party released years ago and it just now got a quality of life improvement. I am personally excited for Mario Golf but outside of that there are just a handful of remakes/ports of older games. I want say a new Star Fox or Kid Icarus... just something different outside of Mario, Link, etc.

@HamatoYoshi if someone somewhere could promise me that the servers and what not for the games I purchase digitally would be up and running for a lifetime I would buy into the idea for "all digital". While I'm about 75% physical and 25% digital, the worry of losing those digital games or servers going down is something I always consider.

Now if we could just get a doom eternal physical...

Going to try the demo... kind of has Invincible vibes... hopefully it’s better than that game though

I've only ever played the first Ty and it was a pretty solid game back in the day. I was pumped when it was released but with no physical edition I didn't take the plunge. Probably won't be picking this up though as I believe most would say the sequel was not that great. Nice to see an old game revived!

I think if you combined the style and movements of like Splatoon and Bayonetta everything would be just fine.

Really excited to see this game was graded so high... was on the fence. Might just have to snag!

Happy to double dip on this. It was def my GOTY 2020. Some games I'm just happy to double dip on. Eventually will double on both Ori's and Cuphead (eventually).

I miss the old Powersave days where I could just duplicate a Pokemon and have one on each one of my games. Or if I somehow missed out I could just download it no problem.

Just look at Pokemon cards... talk about taxing nostalgia!

@1ofUs you just need to spend 5 titan blood within the fists... it doesn’t matter how you spend it. Then you have to trigger the dialogue from Asterius battles

@1ofUs Titan blood is given when you beat certain bosses OR you can sell a certain number of keys to get nectar. Then a certain number of nectar to get diamonds, etc. Easiest way is to use different weapons on certain level of heat. I'd suggest watching some YT videos on Hades.

@1ofUs Then you have to spend 5 titans blood on any aspect of the fists... then have a convo with Asterius alone (So it cant be the final boss battle) Asterius is a mini boss. Like I said, just pick doors with the skull on it.

@1ofUs Certain aspects are hidden behind dialogue with certain characters. I believe the hidden aspect comes from the Bull Asterius. Pick doors that have a skull on them. I believe you also have to spend 5 titans blood on the fists and have the aspect of Guan Yu.

I PRAY Nintendo acquires them... that would be a POWER move on their part.

This game is highly recommended! There’s not really much of a tutorial but the combat system is great and the story is fantastic! If you’re even remotely thinking about getting this, you should!

Does anyone know if you should play Atelier Ryza before playing the second one? Or can I just hop right into #2?
